They are long time residents of Longville and are a joy to chat with. Also, Thursdays are homemade goodie day and I was blessed to stop in and have fresh picked homemade rhubarb pie, complete with the traditional "heart" that Sue cuts into all her pies. And then there is the facility; lots and lots of well organized treasures to behold. There is a "tool shed", a "furniture & glassware house" and then the main building that has lures, cast iron, toys, books and lots more. This antique shop is worth the drive to Longville! What a treasure on several levels.

The is a main floor that has several rooms, an up stairs (no AC) and an outdoor courtyard, each loaded with all sorts of items. The owners were there while I was looking around; very congenial and friendly. According to their FB page there is a friend dog named "Kirby" but I did not have the fortune to met him. Definitely worth stopping and looking around. You might even find something like I did, a puggy pie maker for camping.

This store has all sorts of coins, antique furniture & decorative items as well as jewelry. I was there for the jewelry. They have many estate pieces that are all meticulously documented and tagged so you can actually see the prices. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering many of the pieces are vintage. The owner was available without being pushy. When I asked to see a particular item, she was very accommodating and then would leave me alone while I pondered other pieces. God I loathe pushy sales people and there was none of that going on here. I finally decided on two lovely vintage pieces that did not leave me penniless. I was pleased. My only complaint is this establishment is 562 miles from my home. Dang it!

It has a giant first floor and a half 2nd floor balcony area. The west side is mostly one vendor that specializes in high quality automotive and advertising type items. The prices in this area are pretty high. You won't find any deals here. He's definitely charging what you'd expect as "full-retail" in a major metropolitan area antique store. But he does have some nice stuff. The east side (and the 2nd floor) is mostly filled with the owner's items. This area has a big variety of merchandise and a lot of things you'd typically see at an antique mall. But there's a LOT of it. According to the owner, he once sold furniture out of this building -- hence, the name and the sign. But now it's 99.9% antiques with only a few antique or vintage pieces of furniture.
