Themed rooms

The place here is unique and well kept, they have a theme for every room. It also smells really good in there, lollll.. but it's a real cool place to go explore. The only thing is that the prices there could be a bit expensive. Places like the Main Street antiques have similar things and more affordable. So it's cool yah, But a bit pricey....

Cute little treasures.

Nicest store with antiques in Turlock / along with collectibles and decorated things. Worth a stop.

Closed quite early and employees were lying to people about the nature of the business to get them to leave

What a fantastic little thrift shop full of history which is operated by volunteers. Black dotted area to be precise was the $1 sale of the day. Found a pair of bootcut dress slacks on it for a single dollar in perfect condition. Decided to pass and leave them for another in need. Just didn't feel like trying on clothing but they have superior quality clothing. Shirts were priced at $3 each. They sell shoes too and the way they hang to display the pants is very useful and smart. They have an ample supply of women's black slacks and pants in excellent condition something I'm always on the lookout for. This thrift store is organized by separate small rooms which divide the categories such as books, shoes, art and collectibles and more. Made for an enjoyable and relaxing shopping experience as I shopped. There's a large chalkboard located behind the register on the wall which states they've donated over $800,000 dollars to date to charities etc. Wow! Makes me want to donate here.

I highly recommend working with Estate of Affairs for estate liquidation. They were kind,…read moreefficient, and did an excellent job maximizing the value of my dad's estate. Context: When my father passed, he left behind a house (in Tracy) packed with 30 years of collecting cookware, books, art, records, telescopes, camping gear, and clothes. He also left behind 3 storage units. I had spent a couple of months trying to make sense of things, and then realized I wasn't making progress on my own. James responded within a day to my initial inquiry, and then toured my dad's property and advised there was so much stuff that we should probably do 2 separate estate sales. From the beginning, he was transparent about his process and professional. Once preparation started, his team came in quickly to sort and display SO much stuff, and priced it to move while also maximizing the value of items sold. Things were priced as small knick knacks up to thousand dollars+ telescopes and stereo equipment. I really appreciated the time the team took to look up these specialty items so they could get their fair value while still being sold within the time of the estate sale. Some other nice touches: I gave James his own codes for entry and arming/disarming the house, which allowed him to self-manage estate sale prep. He always made it clear when his team was to be expected on site. James consistently checked in with me about anything he had questions about (e.g. what to do about items that probably wouldn't sell due to damage, or if I was okay doing a second day.) His team took the time to set aside any personal items that I hadn't yet uncovered within the boxes in my dad's house. It's also clear that EoA's marketing system works really well, as I heard from a neighbor there was a line down the block to get in. After the sales, I worked with EoA to finish clearing out my dad's house to prepare it for sale. They left the house spotless, and even took the time to lay out missing closet doors that had been uncovered. I can't recommend working with James and his team enough. I was able to reclaim my life and also made enough money to put towards my kids' college fund.

The cashiers were rude, especially the gentleman. I will never attend their sales again nor will my mother in law that got trampled on by one of their workers in the livingroom as she was looking at the crystal animals. We left in utter disbelief you guys should be ashamed.

The moment I walked into the Community Hospice Hope Chest Thrift Store, I was inundated with…read moreChristmas. The table near the front door was stacked with wrapping paper, boxes, Christmas cards, and all other sorts of Christmas paraphernalia. As I hung a right to go around the store counterclockwise, I saw more Christmas items for sale. Christmas trees, ornaments, lights, ornament hangers were all against the wall. Against the right wall are several bookcases filled with used books. Perusing the titles, I saw a lot of self-help and religious books. They also sell CDs here. But unlike the other thrift stores in town, the selection was almost exclusively classical music. CDs are $1 each. Further towards the back right corner of the store were bookshelves full of movies. They stock both VHS tapes and DVDs. I seem to recall DVDs were $2 unless priced otherwise. I saw some loose discs in the pile, and wondered if any of the multi-disc collections were missing a disc or two. When I got to the back wall, I saw a pile of board games. Again, I could not tell if the games were complete or if any pieces were missing. In the center of the store are racks and racks of clothes. I didn't look very carefully at that display. I went on to the housewares section, towards the front, on the left side. I saw a few things here and there I was tempted to buy, but took a pass. Eventually I left with an eyeglass case ($1), and a Pelican case I intended to use to store my car GPS ($2). The staff I met were friendly. Since Community Hospice Hope Chest Thrift Store is a non-profit, you aren't charged sales tax. What you see on the price tag is what you pay!

Great pricing. They have mark downs on certain colors. Found baby clothes for .75 cents.read more
