Bruce the owner, did a horrible repair on my wedding ring. The prongs were supposed to be retipped, and a Diamond replaced. They came back all different sizes, and looked terrible. Prongs were not even seated on the diamonds to hold them. Gold was nicked in many spots. Arms on the ring were misshapen, diamonds were not centered and loose. He does not stand by any expert service guarantee. He was upset I brought the ring back 4 times with his glaring mistakes. He ruined my ring. He childishly hung up on my phone call to discuss it. Small claims court will waste time on this crook. I have phot documentation to prove it all. Do not do business there. I'd give zero stars as a review if I could. Also he does not care about covid safety. He had to be asked 3 times to wear a mask and do it covering his nose. Finally he asked me to leave when I asked a 4th time to put the mask on. Another employee did not wear a mask. There was no social distancing or sanitizer available. Shame on Bruce! read more

A few years ago, my husband and I were visiting Maui again and doing some local pawn shopping since it is a serious hobby of mine. Somehow I neglected to post a review of this shop and it certainly deserves one! When I first walked in, I was in jewelry "heaven"! This shop had many one of a kind and exceptional pieces! Had my budget been unlimited, I am certain I would have purchased almost everything there. Not wanting to tax our budget, I lamented about a particular piece I just couldn't get out of my mind. On the way to the airport, my husband insisted I get the amazing piece I wanted so very much...as he always does (such a sweet man). The price was very fair and I have yet to find another piece as lovely! I am so happy we took the time to go get this amazing piece and hope to have some new pieces picked up by family members visiting the island this week. These people are the BEST! The prices are fair and he really knows his stuff! It's refreshing to go in a shop with such high quality jewelry, without staggering prices. I paid less than $1500.00 and have been offered four times that for my lovely pendant. I would never sell! This item is special! The shop owner and his wife were simply exceptional and I highly recommend this shop for anyone who enjoys beautiful jewelry, especially unusual and estate pieces, with fair (not cheap) prices. When we go back next time, I'll take a small fortune just to spend in this shop. I have found cheaper shops, but never one with such quality jewelry and such fair pricing, with a knowledgeable owner, who is willing to help you get in and out very quickly...just so you can make your plane. read more

Bruce is so nice! My fiance proposed to me in Hawaii, and the jeweler back home sized my ring almost a full size too small, ruining the night. After bouncing around from rude jewelers on the island who said their jewelers are only for them, and I would never find someone to resize my ring on the island, I finally got pointed to Bruce. I called him, told him my situation, and he said "I think I can have that done while you get a coffee". Across the island we went! We showed him the ring, he sized me up, and before we could finish our lunch he had called, letting us know he resized my ring already! He turned what almost ruined our moment into a trip we could get engagement photos at, and a sad story into a good one. I am so grateful for Bruce.. he is honest, knowledgeable, and fair. I brought my Omega Constellation watch in to have the battery replaced. I have owned the watch for awhile and never had any problems having the battery replaced elsewhere. When the owner replaced my battery, he broke my watch! He had to send it to California to be repaired. When I got the watch back, it was no longer keeping time. I've owned the watch for 6 years, and I've never had anyone have a problem replacing the battery. So he put another battery in my watch. The next day I looked at my watch, and it still wasn't keeping time. So, I called Bruce up, and I told him my watch wasn't keeping time, and I told him I spoke with Omega in Honolulu. My watch worked perfectly, but when Bruce worked on my watch it never kept time. Omega told me that they would have to send the watch to the mainland, and to fix the problem was going to cost $500-$600. I told Bruce I wanted him to pay for that. He said he wouldn't pay for that. So now I have an Omega Constellation watch that worked perfectly until he worked on it, and now I have to pay to repair it myself. All of the Yelp reports are about jewelry they bought from Bruce. I believe I'm the only one that put a Yelp report on here about repair. He ruined my watch, and now I have to pay $500-$600 to have my watch fixed, which worked perfectly before he worked on it. Don't let this man replace batteries on your watch, because he doesn't know what he's doing. I'm also going to report him to the Better Business Bureau. It's not fair to me as a customer, as a retired Navy veteran, to be treated this way. Beware of this man replacing batteries on your watch. I'm very disappointed in the company. read more

The fellow who helped me was very nice and very knowledgeable (well, ya'd have to be, right?). It was an inexpensive job but he treated me as if it wasn't. I went to change my water proof watch battery. I asked the guy, that I have been told it had to be sealed to maintain its water proof condition, if he could do this. He told me that yes, and charged me $15. Three days after the watch was full of water. I went back, he told me he would take care of it. Five days later he calls me has a new watch. When I go to look for it, it was a girls watch! I told him this was not like my watch, he told me this is the only thing he could do,and if I didn't like the watch I should leave it, and then he kind of accused me of being a liar saying that the watch had no water.. (when it had even the vapor bubbles on the glass, and why did he even buy a new watch if he was not responsible for it?) read more

While in Maui on vacation from Seattle, my Husband and I purchased new Wedding Bands. My size wasn't available from the Jewelry Store where we purchased them and because it was a design that fused both white and yellow gold together, it couldn't be sized as a ring normally would be. We decided to look for a Jeweler on the Island instead of waiting until we got back home and just walked in to see if they could do it. They were very pleasant and explained the process needed to accomplish the sizing and quoted what I felt was an excellent price. Despite it being so close to Christmas, they knew that we were here on Vacation and completed the sizing and polishing in about two hours, and honored their quote despite the rush job and the ring looks great!
