It's your typical beach shop but they have a wide a selection! It was a great place for gifts for my girls.

If you want to look through a selection of souvenirs and Charleston/Folly Beach branded gear then this place is fine. I come here often to grab little seashells, sweatshirts, etc. to send to my nieces and nephews who live out of state and the prices are reasonable for a tourist shop. If you expect employees to treat you with any kind of respect or act like you are doing anything other than annoying inconveniencing them by simply being in their store, maybe go somewhere else. read more

I bought sandals, shorts and coffee mug at the store. Only after a couple of days, both soles of sandals fell off. It is obviously a quality issue. The owner said the sandals are not supposed to be wet and offered a half price for another pair. If it were you, would you buy another pair with half price?! read more

Went to Treasure Island to check out the beach chairs. Small selection due to Covid-19 and definitely overpriced. $65 cheap a- beach chair? Yea, they have that if you want it. The service was good and the staff practiced social distancing well. read more

This is your typical souvenir shop... lots of t-shirts, beach towels, knick knacks, etc.

Just left Treasure Island. My husband and I were so pleased to find that proper precautions were being taken in this time of COVID-19. Unlike the stores on Folly Beach, when you walked in you were greeted kindly and they gave a spritz if hand sanitizer and require a mask. We found everything we needed and the employees were great. Nice touristy place. I stopped in with my sister and young niece because she wanted to experience the whole "beach store" thing. I had been there previously by myself and had zero issues so I thought it would be a great idea this time. The lady working seemed to be more annoyed than anything else that we dared to come shop there. I get seeing a child come into a store isn't that great but we made sure to clean-up any toys she played with and keep her quiet even though we were then ONLY customers in the store. The cashier scowled at us the whole time and acted like we were bothering her when my sister asked to use the dressing room. She never bothered to engage us in any type of conversation or even welcome us to the store. More than likely won't be back and won't recommend. read more

Macaroni Kid Charleston Review: On our way out of Folly heading home we had to make a stop that is tradition to us now.. every time we go to Folly we must stop at Treasure Island to see what new things they have.. This is truly you one stop shop for beach wear, toys. clothes, and many other keepsakes as well.. The prices are fair and the staff is out of this world friendly. This is one of our favorite stores because of everything it has to offer!! If you have not stopped in lately or at all make a point next time you are in the area to do so.. you may just be surprised at what you find THANK YOU again Treasure Island for giving us some great things to bring home and enjoy!! This round we came home with 4 hermit crabs in which was quiet the task picking out the perfect ones and again the staff was so patient and helpful to our children!!! Big cheesy beach store full of a bunch of plastic Chinese crap but hey they got a lot of it and it's actually a pretty cool store it's well-stocked and they do have some pretty good deals I would actually give it five stars but I just really hate these kind of stores because they remind me of Myrtle Beach but I have to say this is a pretty good beach store read more

It's full of tourist stuff... I am pretty sure this chain is in Myrtle beach as well. Reasonably priced. But it is not exactly prime location so you have to go out of your way to get here because not much else is around it. read more

My four-year-old son wanted to purchase some fidget spinners for his friends and they have a great deal of three for five dollars right now. I saw sign and that's initially what brought me in. A few relatives that also requested some stickers representing the local area and I figured it was a good place to get them. The gentleman behind the counter was super friendly and efficient and he even had some local eggs to sell from the chickens his mother raises on Johns Island! I returned for more fidget spinner's for our kids and decided to pick up a bathing suit for my fiancé's preteen daughter since she's here to visit and didn't have one. Unfortunately they must've been missed labeled as when I got home with the size she wears, her and her father looked at it and knew there was no way she would fit in it. (Medicines I've never bought clothes for a little girl that age and my son is only four. I thought it looked small but I figured bathing suit stretch and heck some of my bathing suit's several years ago were pretty small too. LOL! ) Swimsuits were nonrefundable and I figured I would just end up eating it. They were buy one get one 50% off and figured I would just give them away. However my fiancé and I immediately went back to the store and Brady was more than accommodating and let us exchange them and get something that was going to fit her! I actually ended up spending a little bit extra and didn't mind at all. She was more than thrilled with what We returned home with! I was thrilled at the way it was handled by the store associate. On All 3 occasions I've shopped at this store, Brady has given me superb customer service. I will be back! read more
