I ask to send it First Class. The US postal worker replies, "For First Class packages, I am not allowed to tape the box. If you send it Priority then I can tape it for you." As we can both see some tape behind the plexiglass. Well being that I wasn't hiding any packaging tape up my butt just for a moment like this, I then asked to send it Priority. The US postal worker replies, "Okay, then I will have to ask you to step out of line and fill out a Priority label so I may help someone else." Because it takes so much time to write down 2 addresses. I stepped out of line and went to FedEx, spent less than 5 minutes there, total. They taped the box. If USPS must adhere to asinine policies sure, if USPS workers want to be smug I'm out. I tried. The 2 stars is for the line moving at a reasonable pace.

The staff is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. Lines move quickly. So many children's books compared to our local library even. All the librarians we spoke with were really nice. They also have board games and crayons and such for children to play with. I wish there were more comfortable chairs to cuddle up in and read a book together but we had fun.

Fortunately, your Lincoln library card will allow you to enjoy all this (unfortunately, for me, I live in Omaha and we don't have a music library). We visited here to see a lecture/performance by the iconic free improvisation saxophonist Jack Wright. I was really impressed with the programs being offered here. Scott is really helpful and it's obvious that he really cares about all things music. This was my first visit here, I will definitely be back.

Parking is plentiful and the public bathrooms are very clean and well-maintained. This is a needed addition in the southwest section of the city of Lincoln.
