My family and I attended a wedding here and it was so much fun! The open bar inside of the vault was very unique and the fact that the giant vault door was the center piece for the event was cool. The bartenders serving us drinks all night were friendly and didn't seem tired or irritated all night. For dinner, I ordered the filet and was kind of underwhelmed. I don't know what the bride/groom paid for the wedding package but I feel the steak could've been better in general. It wasn't like the filet I had at a nice steakhouse back at home in Phoenix. The sauce on it was the saving grace. The mashed potatoes were your typical potatoes, and the salad was your typical salad. Overall, though, we all had a great time, and it was a nice venue. read more

Nice venue. Saw some people getting ready with wedding rehearsals and then saw some staff prepping for an event that evening. Pretty cool space. The upstairs has business offices. Downstairs is where the party's at. Some Tour Guides start here, too! Definitely, a place to look into. I'll let you in on a SECRET ... The door at the storefront might seem like it's locked, but the trick is to lift it up all the way. Tada! Oh, and there's a "ring" doorbell at the double doors inside if you can't find who you're looking for. They'll assist you if your person hasn't found you first. A beautiful setting for a wedding in St. Augustine but unfortunately the wedding coordination was not good. So many things need to be improved. If you taking the bride, groom, and both sets of parents over to the Lightner Museum for pictures, you should not expect them to walk, fully made up in heels. If a ride is not part of what you can do, advise the family ahead. I would have happily paid for a private golf cart as I did the previous evening for a Night of Lights tour for a group of us. When y asked about timing for grandparents pictures and are provide a time that is incorrect, then another time two hours later that is still not correct and finally not taking those pictures until after the ceremony, it is beyond frustrating. Not understanding that elderly people should not be made to wait around for 4-5 hours seems obvious. Since we were not as involved as the bride's family, I am unsure about the food caterer, but sadly, half the food was inedible. We missed many of the passed appetizers due to the pictures, but the Cuban I had was good. For the main meal, we started with a plated salad was drowning in a very tart dressing. For the buffet service, the server told us the Mahi was salmon. The Mahi was fishy tasting on the first bite, so no go there. The vegetables were overcooked and a super small portion. The chicken look good but was pink when cut into, so no go there as well. The cut of beef served was great and the mashed potatoes were good, along with a roll. Overall, I think the wedding pictures should provide a happy memory but the issues of the day would make me not recommend this venue to others. read more

Really good venue for a wedding we recently attended. Very beautiful inside, set up very well and planned. We started in the main room set up for the service, we were then moved to an adjacent room for a cocktail hour with appetizers while they broke down the main room. We moved back to the main room for a plated dinner. Not everyone was thrilled with the food, but I was. I requested a vegan meal and the teriyaki tofu was absolutely delicious. The dancing and set up for the reception I thought was better than the set up for the wedding. There are big columns that blocked your view of the service, but it was not an issue with the reception. Parking in this are of St. Augustine is awful, it is just a fact of life. Plan to arrive early, plan on having at least $20 in cash and just know it is coming. read more

I attended my cousin's wedding here last month and it was absolutely beautiful! The ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour were all held here. The reception was held in the same room as the ceremony so there was a bit of a wait for the room to be turned over, but it turned out gorgeous! I especially loved the bar in the vault, and the pyrotechnics and shadow display for the couple's entrance into the reception. The only thing that would have been better was more seating in the cocktail hour room, but I could see that potentially being impacted by the number of chairs being needed in the ceremony/reception ballroom. I thought this place was perfect for a wedding. The vault and the high ceilings make it a very classy and romantic place. I agree with others on the room used for the cocktail party while the wedding pictures are going on. There are few seating options and no tables to place your drink or appetizer. The room feels like a dressing room in a large department store. It takes away from the full experience. If I was a potential bride I'd insist on improvements to this room before booking. read more

My now-husband gave me a daunting task in searching for our wedding venue. He provided 3 criteria: 1) it should be in Florida, 2) both the ceremony and reception must be indoors, and 3) it should be a place where James Bond might hang out. Now, it's very tricky to find a venue with a James Bond vibe... but once I found the Treasury, I realized that I'd found the perfect spot. We were sold on the venue before our first visit, but scheduled an initial visit just to ensure that the venue looks as good in person as it does in photos. In person, it's even more gorgeous. It's reminiscent of a bygone era... very old Hollywood. It's so beautiful that you need little in terms of décor. From beginning to end, the folks at the Treasury helped us create a dream wedding. They provided a list of outstanding wedding vendors (required caterer and coordinator options... the others were simply recommendations). And they worked with us on lighting, room floorplans, storage needs and other touches to ensure that our wedding day went smoothly. On our wedding day, we had access to the venue around 1:30 PM for a 5:00 PM ceremony. It was so fun to get ready in the wedding party suites. The bridal suite is beautiful, with a comfortable couch, oversized vanity, refrigerator and private bathroom. It was such a relaxing place to prepare for the big day. The guys had access to a cool lounge area equipped with a poker table and a fridge. The rest of the day flew by. The ceremony and reception were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I've been getting nonstop compliments from people who loved the venue and overall experience. And our photographs are amazing... The Treasury photographs BEAUTIFULLY day and night, inside and out. Stopped by on a Wed night 4/6/16. Just passing by. Attracted to the music and beautiful entrance. An old bank it was. A new 'hotspot' it could be. Beautiful and very cool .Money has been spent here to bring it to where it is. UNFORTUNATELY, the staff on THAT night will bring it down faster than a meteorite. Poor service and attitude as well as no knowledge of their wines was SOOOO sad. What could be just might NOT BE. My husband and I have both been in the industry. My daughter had her wedding at the Lightner Museum last weekend and it was perfect. I'm leaving my review here because the Lightner is the sister venue to the Treasury. Brandy Boulette was our contact person from the Treasury who oversaw everything and she did a wonderful job. I told her I can't think of one thing to complain about! The Lightner is a beautiful and unique venue. We only found out that the Lightner did wedding receptions when the Treasury was booked on the date we wanted but we were very pleasantly surprised. I'd encourage anyone to check it out. The ceremony took place in the beautiful entryway then guests walked through the museum to get to the cocktail hour which was held in what used to be the Olympic size pool in what used to be the hotel. We had 170 guests and there was plenty of space. It was lovely from beginning to end. read more

I recently attended a wedding ceremony and reception at the Treasury on the Plaza. I must say that for people looking for St Augustine Wedding Venues, it is the perfect place. It is right downtown in St Augustine's first and only skyscraper, which was built way back then. Talking about history? The interior is very beautiful. It is like a gorgeous palace as opposed to a wedding reception location. You will love the building and the service. The wedding that I attended was very large and the wedding banquet room was very spacious, decorated in a very elegant white color, like in a Cinderella movie, as the bride's family wanted. The Treasury on the Plaza building is listed as a 'significant element' in historic St. Augustine on The National Register of Historic Places, in honor of both its architectural and historical significance to Northeast Florida'. This is to say that no wedding site in St Augustine cannot be more historic or have a higher prestige than The Treasury on the Plaza. Good Job. read more

It was stunning and the staff at The Treasury really topped it off. They thought of so Many details to make The Treasury a unique wedding venue! The bridal sweet was to die for and the window in the lobby was right out of Rapunzel's Tower! I recently went to hear Chris Thomas Band at this venue and was stuned at the beauty. This place is awsome!!!! The pictures do not do this place justice. You must come and see. The marble floors and stone columns are like a palace. The bar area is set inside the old bank vault. I have never seen anything like it. It absolutely transports you to another time and place. This would make a fairy tale wedding. You should go on a wednesday night to hear Chris Thomas and enjoy. read more

THIS VENUE IS AMAZING! The staff at The Treasury are some of the best people I know and they made planning our wedding day so easy! We worked with Sarah Lindsey and she was so much fun, organized and friendly! They tailor everything to you - even lighting if you purchase the package (recommend doing). They are efficient and understand your needs. On your wedding day you do not have to worry about anything because this staff will handle it! The venue is also gorgeous with amazing groom and bride suites. I cannot think of anywhere else I would have had my wedding. I was so, so happy to get married at The Treasury - it was perfect! The ballroom and vault are the perfect classic additions to the overall ambiance as well. We had 160+ guests and a band stage and there was enough space for everyone to dance freely and not feel crammed. I highly recommend booking with The Treasury. They also worked with us to create two custom drinks for our guests, which was a nice additional touch. It was amazing and this venue is incredible. A flawed venue not worth the price. The bride texted everyone that parking would be $10 cash (they don't take credit cards). We were charged $12 upon arrival with no explanation from an unfriendly car park attendant. The wedding/reception hall is indeed grand with large Grecian columns, but I actually found this problematic. The low light level and the lighting plan made the room feel cold and uninspiring despite it's posh aspirations. While visibility was fine for the wedding (could be trickier with a larger number of guests), during the reception, it was a nightmare. A lot of people simply had their view of the bridal party completely blocked by the large columns. I heard the clinking glasses and heard a few folks clap, so I'm sure the bride and groom kissed, but couldn't swear to it in court. The food was just average and not what I would have expected from this type of venue. The chicken was a tad overcooked and the entire plate was bland. The rolls in the bread basket were cold and, while not stale, a little hard. The salad was small, but the dressing was nice. The area where we had h'ors d'ouevres was better lit and the wood accent warmed it up a bit, but again the food was OK, not great. The service, apart from the event coordinator, was pleasant, if not effusive and I'd say that's the one thing they had going for them. In short, if you want a formal venue where you will be photographed among imposing Grecian columns and don't mind being micromanaged by a control-freak coordinator (to the point your groomsmen are told to keep their right hand over their left, lest they ruin the wedding photos - an unprofessional comment to young men already nervous, in my opinion), this might be the place for you. Quite frankly though, it lacked the vibrancy and joy I prefer and usually expect, even at the most formal weddings I have attended (too many to count!) and I would not recommend it. There are other venues along the coast of Florida and in Central Florida that will give you and your guests a much better experience. I found out later that locals avoid the place like the plague.
