Let's start with the cons (because there aren't many): the shop is dirty. There's no getting past that. Cobwebs and dust everywhere. Just don't look around, and you'll be fine. Pros: Since it's the holiday, there was no wait. I was seated and worked on immediately. My no-chip pedicure was relaxing, even though it was just the basic service. I was also able to soak off my old dip while I was getting my pedicure, which saved a lot of time. The same guy who did my pedicure did my dip nails. He was FAST and did a pretty decent job. This place is okay. The color selection leaves a lot to be desired and they use cheap polish…read morebrands. One of them even had a $1 price tag on it. I also have noticed that a lot of places have stopped carrying what I consider more conservative/professional colors. I am not a fan of neons or dark colors, so it's become increasingly difficult to find places with colors I like. The men are much more attentive than the women. While there, the women thought it more appropriate to talk/play around with each other, answer personal calls, and decide what they wanted to eat instead of servicing me and another woman (I waited at least 15 minutes before they started my pedicure). I also didn't like being admonished for attempting to recline the chair a bit. Why do these places put their chairs so close to the wall, then get mad when people attempt to recline them?! I am tall, so I commonly need to let the seat back for comfort. The experience was better when the tech started working on my feet. She was very attentive to my toes and I didn't feel as though she was rushing. Then I discovered the chairs had a USB port!! What a fabulous addition that you don't see much unless you're at a newer or pricier place. Overall, this is a no frills place but they are more attentive than some of the others in the area. If they improved their polish selection, they'd be a 3.5-4.

There had to be a few stubborn hairs which she began to remove with a blade. I told her I didn't want that type of removal; please reapply the wax. She complied. When it came to the tint, while I had requested a medium shade of dye, she applied a very dark shade and totally exaggerated my brows. I expressed my displeasure. When it was time to check out, I was told they ONLY ACCEPTED CASH for those services. I had none and was forced to use a use an out-of-network ATM for an extra service fe fee. I will not be going back to this salon.

I had gone three time for the same exact thing, I new set with removal. The price went from 55-75 (…read moreplain short set) I understood $5 per hand to get them removed but everytime she ripped my nails off which I just found out is absolutely horrid for your natural nail. They were so sore I couldn't even touch them the last time I got a new set. I hate to say it bc they are very nice there but this is a chop shop and if you are going for acrylic run! my nails took 2 months to heal after my last set.
