Treeco destroyed my shed and never even responded to my calls and emails…read more The next door neighbors contracted Treeco to remove their dead sweetgum which hung over the property line and my shed. The crew showed up and were not even told ahead of time the tree was dead and unstable. They dropped a large limb and crushed the shed. The crew cleaned it up as best they could, but Treeco's owner ignored the photos and all of my attempts to follow up. Thank goodness no one was hurt and this was not someone's house. Too small for an insurance claim or small claims court suit, so the owner displayed how much integrity he has by walking away. (Also, the homeowner next door who paid Treeco said they never completed removing all of the trunk and stump pieces, as they had promised.) If a picture is worth a thousand words, how many are two pictures worth?

So we did get some estimates but decided on Keith and they showed up when scheduled on time with the equipment needed and the workers to get the job done. Dropping BIG trees between houses is not only dangerous for the worker but for the houses and Keith did it so efficiently! They had a huge mulcher that pulverized good size branches into a large truck and cut the rest for firewood next year-stacked where we wanted it. It looks so nice and clean now. The back wall of my house had a negative drain problem which they corrected, cleared out the weeds and put in a white rock boarder. I had some pavers, which they used to create a walkway along my back patio and designed it in such a way that it will be easy for me to have them expand it when I am ready. Kyle is very knowledgeable about trees, and assessed my entire 2 acre lot (which has a lot of Pine trees) regarding the health and stability of the trees. He pointed out which trees might pose a risk of falling and hitting my house. His estimate to take them down was the most reasonable one I have received.
