The location is perfect for those driving up to Vermont. They have a great selection of beers for on site drinking or to go. The wait for the pizza was over 90 minutes, so don't go there to eat if you're hungry, or have anything to do. We say outside and there weren't a lot of garbages around the seating area so some people chose to be lazy and leave trash outside. That's a bummer. Car side pickup was convenient. So, for the lack of food options in a reasonable Time and the garbage outside I have to dock some points. read more

Absolutely beautiful! Like walking into a greenhouse - was very surprised. Had been to the other location in lower Mass but was my first visit here. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Really cool to see a place where tips don't show up when checking out, was happy to submit a tip on my own :) I'm not big on beer and was very satisfied with the other options. For a good can - I recommend the Strawberry Basil, great over ice. Had it in the can - taste a bit bitter that way so make sure you have the ice! This is the first time I have gone to the Deerfield location and it is extremely impressive. The beer selection is remarkable and I had two great beers.... Green and a Peach IPA. Three of us shared their pepperoni with hot honey pizza and that was outstanding. The facility is immaculate and spacious -really excellent outdoor seating options as well. Were able to buy any beer. Really outstanding experience. A gem in the Pioneer Valley. The location is very convenient to 91 and 5 & 10; parking is plentiful, and the entire exterior is extremely well maintained and pleasing. The interior is impeccably appointed, and makes dynamic use of the sprawling space. The service was prompt and knowledgeable. Friendly and efficient. The food was delicious. This is a really impressive building and a really fun space to have a taproom. We absolutely love coming to this Tree House location. Gorgeous, gorgeous interior. They also serve pizza here which is great. Nothing better than pizza and beer! They will hold concerts and outdoor events here because they have a ton of space and parking. Last week they had a concert on a Thursday night. Only downside to these events is that they closed the taproom. Curbside pickup was available though so they try to be accommodating! read more

I had heard about this brewing company for a while. My husband's friends would make pilgrimages from Long Island to MA and I honestly thought they were nuts. Now I get it. The overall vibe is relaxed. We had gone in September for their half marathon and the weather was perfect so there was a live band outside. The drinks are all really amazing. I know we as a society overuse the word amazing but just believe me. I started liking Palomas because of this place. My fave part of this brewing company isn't the brewing at all. It's their pizza! Are people comparing it to the Charlton facility? Because that's like comparing rookie year Michael Jordan to prime of his career Michael Jordan. All Michael Jordan versions are near the top of the curve for basketball players. All Tree House variants are near the top of the curve for breweries. You can go to the best Blankety Blank Brewery location. I'll go to the second, third or fourth best Tree House location. Thanks for making the line shorter. LOL I recently had my first visit to Deerfield. Charlton is out of my way, but I used to make that drive a few times a year. Deerfield, however, is sometimes near my way to or from some place. So I can get Tree House Beer by just going a few minutes out of my way. I zoomed right in and they had cans for sale as I walked in. I bought two four packs of my favs -- Very Green and Alter Ego. They had many more of my favs. No line. They offered to keep my cans while I visited the pour area for iced coffee. As I walked to the pour area, I passed cool can displays and art. I ended up at a large multi-floor atrium. There was ample seating. A pizza area. A band was playing. Was it as cool as Charlton? I don't know. I haven't been recently, but Deerfield had more inside seating than Charlton used to have. I didn't see the exterior grounds in Deerfield, although Charlton may be difficult to beat in that area. My iced coffee, which I believe was part of Tree House's canned series of coffee beverages, was poured into a cup. It was pretty good. The bottom line is -- I am very happy that I have another Tree House location for beer purchases. I'll drive by there a couple times a year. And that's a couple more convenient opportunities for Tree House purchases than I presently have. 5 Stars. Michael Jordan is Michael Jordan. Tree House never disappoints! We stopped here on our way back from a weekend on a cabin on the lake for a quick friends trip. After a few hours of driving we knew we needed some sustenance, a nice cold brewski in our hand. They had delicious fresh pizza and the whole vibe felt like you were in some kind of Disney for adults beer ride haha. Dogs are allowed only outside, even though there were a lot of big dogs, we were able to be spaced out enough for my little one to not go too crazy. The outside area is gorgeous and it's perfect on a warm sunny day with lots of grass and seating and even a performance space. So fun! We had a great time and it for sure was a great way to end our trip with some great pizza and beer. read more

The beer is great. I mean so good that when I'm near a Treehouse Brewery I travel with coolers and spend hundreds of dollars on cans to go for my friends and I. The brewery itself is a logistical nightmare with ridiculous convoluted rules. You have to purchase drink tickets in advance on your phone and cannot order at the bar. The beers are $8 plus tax and the size of the plastic cup will vary between 12-18oz depending on the ABV. Then prepare to wait on long lines to get a beer and you will be limited to 2 or 3 per day to consume there. I suggest that you purchase the maximum drink tickets (on this last visit it was 3) and order all 3 at once so you're not waiting on a line like you're at a ballpark each time you want a beer. They also sell subpar pizza and limit the slices to 2 per person. You will also likely have to wait on the pizza line. When you order cans to go you have to do that through the app and you cannot pick them up inside. You select a pickup time in the app then take your car to the pickup area, pull into a numbered spot, open a confirmation email, and let them know your spot number and car color. Eventually someone will come out with your order on a hand truck and you can load it into your car and drive away. The location itself is not at all as nice as the others. It's a converted office building and still looks like one. It has no atmosphere at all. Even if it was a beautiful place it's not worth spending any time at this brewery. read more

It still amazes me with how popular the Treehouse brand has become, that nobody looks up logistics prior to visiting what I would guarantee to be one of the largest, most high volume and METICULOUSLY BEAUTIFUL breweries you will ever go to. And thats just the Deerfield location. I was there this past Sunday - didn't need to pre purchase my draft tickets like I did at other locations, but you can. I ordered a pizza and it was ready in 7 minutes and delicious - check the pic. I see why they are now getting hype around their pizza. I had 2 beers, listened to some music and enjoyed myself for a few hours - no issues at all. In the past 9 months I've visited Sandwich (Cape Cod), Charlton, Tewksbury and now Deerfield. Yes, they can be very busy in summer/prime months but when you see the facility you'll understand why everyone travels to visit. If you want your small local brewery with 4-5 average beers, this won't be it. If you want some real good CONSISTENT beer, and an unmatched atmosphere come to Treehouse. read more

"I know you're hopin' to find Someone who's gonna give you peace of mind I'm just second hand news" (Fleetwood Mac) This was technically our second visit to Tree House Western, but it was our first visit through the front door to see all of the bells and whistles and wonders inside the building. We first went there during the dark days of Covid. Treehouse wasn't completely finished with their buid-out, but they were selling cans of their cold brew coffee if you ordered and paid online and parked your car by the side door. A runner came out and delivered your goods. But now they are open and holy cannoli what a fantastic operation they have! When we walked through the front door we were greeted by a host who checked our ID and gave us a wristband. Next stop was a counter where we bought our drink tickets. $8 gets you one pour and there is a three pour limit. One cool thing I saw at the counter was posters for upcoming concerts. I saw a big name advertised -Aimee Mann. Remember Til Tuesday and their 1985 hit "Voices Carry"? She was Til Tuesday's lead vocalist. One more thing you'll see in the front room are sales counters for cans of beer, liquers, coffees, and seltzers, After that we just followed the crowd into their huge multi-level atrium and met some friends who had grabbed a table and benches for us. Check out the photos -this room is absolutely beautiful - it used to be the company cafeteria for a medical publishing company before Treehouse bought it. There is one big bar where you exchange your drink ticket for one of the available pours. I'm not an IPA guy, but there were plenty of lagers and pisners to choose from. There is a counter to order your pizzas (the only available food served) and if you look outside you'll see an awesome brick beehive pizza oven. There was also a foodtruck on site. By the way, the outdoor area behind the atrium is gorgeous-it looks like a park with hiking trails and picnic tables. In the winter, they have a skating rink! Treehouse blows away all of the dank industrial minimalist breweries you may be familiar with. Honestly, you will marvel at how cool it is. read more

I've always thought that Tree House was overly hyped and never understood how people would drive from hours away to buy crates of their beer. I had to give in and check out the Tree House in Deerfield though. Absolutely blown away by the design. Like the main Tree House in Charlton, they have the impressive variety of beers and other bevs offered. But this Tree House is much simpler - you don't have to purchase drink tickets in advance. You can if you want, or you can get them at the front desk as soon as you enter. There, they also have their retail items for sale. The beer pickup area is also much easier to get to and runs much quicker than the Charlton location. The best part of this place, however, is the greenhouse-like atmosphere. Once you go down the long hallway showcasing their colorful beer cans, you enter this very bright, open atrium with live plants everywhere. This is so so needed in this state with all of the dreery weather. It just puts you in a better mood with all the natural sunlight and greenery. This location also has a pizza oven so you can get Tree House pizza, which was some of the best pizza I've had in the area! Overall, I definitely don't come to Tree House since I'm impressed with their beers. But if you want to grab a drink with some friends, get out of the house, and have some amazing pizza in an amazing atmosphere, Tree House Deerfield is the place to go. read more

Tree House knows what they're doing, right? Okay 5-college consortium families-make this a stop after you go to the Montague Bookmill. If you like any kind of beer at all, you'll find your joy. I'm a stout-only kinda gal and they never disappoint. Plenty of inside seating (okay...that environment is a little boring, not gonna lie...nice atrium though and the rainbow cans on the hallway leading in are fantastic), and definitely plenty of outside seating overlooking a pretty meadow and foliage. The beertenders are always fantastic, guiding you through your journey. There isn't any tasting to make your decision, but if you get one and hate it, they'll give you something new. I had the Double Shot Monochrome Marshmallow stout - it was amazing. There is a 3 drink limit for your visit, so be aware of that. For me, that's not an issue given my choice of high ABV stouts at all times. One and done. Maybe two tops. My 31-year-old nephew did say that he often will spend the whole day at a brewery drinking with pals, so if that's you, you're gonna need another game plan. They have pizza and we ordered one with meat and one with no meat (I forget the specifics of flavorings) and I absolutely loved the no meat mostly because the crust was perfect...thin (not too thin) and perfectly browned. February 2023 update: Our group of 4 arrived at 4:30 and purchased tickets for 2 beers each. It should be noted that all tickets sold are nonrefundable and only good for the day purchased. We were told they close at 6:00. We ordered pizza and enjoyed our first beer. At about 5:35, we all went up for our 2nd beer but were told they closed the taps at 5:30! We were NOT told that when we purchased the tickets AND there was NO announcement of a last call. We lost out on 4 beers at a total of around $34 bucks. BEWARE! I am knocking off two stars for their inflexibility and not making a last call announcement. It ruined the entire experience, and I seriously doubt I will ever be back. We love Tree House! We live closer to the Charlton location, but when we go to Vermont we always stop here to stock up, have lunch, and a fresh pour. Their pizza is top notch, perfect brick oven style pizza, and I don't need to even mention how good the beer is. The staff is helpful, friendly, and genuinely seems like they want to be there. The live edge walls, glass solarium, and earthy textures are a great vibe. We always are impressed with our visits to this location. We had been here years ago with fond memories of a great brewery and tasty beer so of course on our trip to Vermont we HAD to stop for a beer and to grab some cans to go. I was SO disappointed in how downhill this place has gone. 90 minute wait for pizza, long line for beer (which I admit did move quickly) the family bathroom was filthy. Actual filth on the sink, toilet, and floor. Was so excited (sarcasm) when my toddler touched the side of the sink and her hands came away with what could have been either feces or mud, I was not smelling to find out. Why can't there be a hook so at least one surface might be clean to hang a bag when you're taking care of someone else? Then we go outside to sit on the Adirondack chairs and there's pizza garbage and napkins all over the place. You serve food but don't provide garbage receptacles on the grounds? I firmly believe people should clean up after themselves but some people are lazy slobs, garbage cans would at least maybe encourage some of them to be better. We frequently make trips to Vermont and I think we're just going to take beer to go next time. Not worth getting out of the car here. read more

The Dunder Mifflin for beer is what I would call the vibes here. It looks like a giant city hall for beer. All sorts of choices for lovers of IPAS and hoppier beers. Im more of a lighter beer person and was a little disappointed they didnt have any ciders or sours on deck. They did have all sorts of sitting, pizza, and entertainment for all to enjoy. The can policy is a little weird too. But overall, a very unique brewery experience. It's been a few weeks since I've been, so hopefully lighter beers were added to the rotation. read more
