We came on a Saturday and it was definitely very busy with parking but worth it! The place was so clean and wide open with seating. Nice place to just come hang out to drink a pint. Glad we had a friend recommend this place!!

TH continues to be my favorite New England brewery. So many styles that are all really well done. Having multiple locations has helped tame some of the lines but it continues to be busy in Charlton, especially on weekends so I try to avoid going there on weekends. Hint: this time of year is actually a great time to visit their sandwich location, especially if you can catch a decent weather day. The real reason for the update is that they now have pizza in Charlton! At the time of writing this, it's only by the slice and only M-Th. They lack the capacity to feed the masses at this time but I'm guessing the goal is to ramp up to full production eventually. Unfortunately, my slice last night was not the best they can do. Undercooked, slightly cold and a little chewy, and no char. I look forward to when it's hot and fresh, but for now, at least it's a start!!

I am always astounded by places like Tree House Brewing in Charlton. This place feels like it's practically in the middle of nowhere, and when you pull into the entrance you know you've made it to a special place. It was definitely the largest brewery that I've been to. When you walk in you are greeted by an enormous open room that is beautifully designed. There are a few separate bars that serve different drinks as they do many, many beers, cocktails, and even roast their own coffee. There are many communal tables in the space as well as a big gift shop where they sell lots of merchandise. The background to the whole space is their massive brewing factory that makes the many beers they have on tap. You can also take home cans of any of their drafts if they have them. When you go up to any of the counters you show your ID and they give you a wristband, so you won't need to show it again. The servers were all very cheery and seemed like they loved their jobs there. They let you sample whatever you would like, but sadly they don't do flights. Personally, this was the only downside here for me because I prefer to have many smaller pours rather than a large glass of anything. I am a lover of a good stout. This place is known for them. They had at least a dozen to choose from. I went with the "Hold On To Sunshine" which is hands down my new favorite stout. It's incredibly rich as it's like drinking dessert, but the best chocolate/peanut butter dessert you've ever had. I also got the "Human Condition" which has a strong toasted coconut flavor. After getting quite tipsy on beer I sobered up with a cup of their delicious coffee. Along with taking home some beer we also took home some of their coffee beans. What a great place!

WOW. What a gorgeous brewery sitting on an impressive campus. Perfectly fitting for some of the top craft beers in MA! My husband loves the IPAs. I like the stouts. They're both expensive and delicious. Definitely a once-in-a-while treat for us. Even if you don't drink, I would still recommend checking this place out for the beautiful location alone! :)

Bucket List achieved. Nothing better than this place and I will die on that hill. This place has everything I could have wanted or needed. Great seating, plenty of space and great beer. Loved having Julius, Green and Haze on tap before buying 6 4 packs to go.

We've been to almost all of Treehouse Brewery's locations, and honestly, we rarely go anywhere else anymore. The service is incredible, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the drinks are consistently amazing. It's a spot that works whether you're bringing kids and dogs or just looking for a fun adult outing. Treehouse has truly set the bar for what a brewery experience should be!

Super easy and quick can pickup at Tree House. In and out with no hassle, and the IPAs are amazing, especially Julius. Always worth the stop.

Amazing beers on tap! There's two bars for draft pours, one for IPAs, stouts, the heavy stuff, and one for lighter beers like farmhouse, pilsners etc. All staff members were super friendly and so nice to interact with! Big merch section (which is pricey). Great can pick up system for beers to go. Just order on one of the many screens or order through your phone. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Some good live music scheduled for the summer, so if you don't have a ticket, make sure to check the website for updated opening hours since they might close early for shows. Food trucks outside or bring in your own food. Dogs, kids welcome.

Pond view seating

Great beers , outstanding service, and the whole vibe is just very friendly. The staff really seems to care about the customers.

We have been to a lot of different breweries, but while this one is probably one of the most beautiful grounds I've ever been to. There is a very large parking lot, but it does get filled. There is so many nice seating outside or inside. The line does get long for drinks. They have variety of different drinks, including beers, cocktails, seltzers coffee so there is something for everyone. They also have a lot of different merchandise that you can purchase or beers that you can buy to bring home. This is a must stop if you were in the area they do not sell food there, but they do have food trucks that come and visit.

A look towards the brewery

Well, my last review of this place and first time visiting was over 6 years ago. A lot has happened in that time and plenty has changed with Tree House Brewing and some has stayed the same. They still do not distribute but have opened up so many new locations since so easier for more people to visit. This location is still such a huge place and unlike other breweries so a must visit for beer lovers still! Many more beers are available in cans/bottles and on draft. So scarcity is not as big of an issue anymore that's for sure. The biggest changes are honestly beneficial for those non beer lovers. Why is that you ask? Well Tree House is much more than a brewery at this point. With options of it all to-go and to have on site besides beer you can get coffee (whole beans or already brewed), cocktails (even a few NA), seltzers, and other options. Truly expanding to the point everyone can find a beverage they want/like. The smartest way to enjoy this place is come during the week not during holidays or summer and it will be a breeze in and out. But make a day of it and enjoy the entire grounds/experience they offer! As an aside other breweries have stepped up their game as well with some making similar quality and others even better beers at times. Despite this I still believe it is a must visit unique brewery experience!

This is one of the most beautiful breweries I've ever been to. Large modern structure with numerous seating areas. Two separate pouring areas, one for IPA's/Stouts another for Crispy/Lagers & Pilsners. It was about noon on a Sunday & the crowd's were big by our 2 round. They ID you & mark your wrist band limiting you to three beers. We sat in the outdoor canopy section with two fireplaces blazing away. I sampled a Mexican lager & one of the Chech Pilsners. Both outstanding. Large gift shop, sausage food truck out front, Koi pond, hard alcohol, choice layout. Only flaw I found was the to go beer ordering cluster flock.. You are required to order through a kiosk and wait for your order to be put together (waited 30 minutes). Additionally they didn't offer two of the beers consumed that day on the to go menu. All in all a great visit to a beer mecca.

Ask the Community - Tree House Brewing Company

Does anyone know if treehouse is fully open to order a beer and drink it there? Thanks!

Yes - follow them on social media for details

Do they serve food or are there food trucks?

Sometimes food trucks. Check their social media and website for updates

Can you open and drink purchased cans onsite? We can only make it on a Wednesday, and I know they don't do pints unless the can line is short.

nope, but they do pints as well

.Any hotels to stay at close to brewery?

There are a couple in Sturbridge within 5-10 minutes.

Is there an outdoor seating area and is it dog friendly?

There is a ton of outdoor seating. There are a few dozen large picnic tables under a very large Gazebo. There is a fire place outdoors too. Its very dog friendly and kid friendly! Great place to pack a picnic lunch and get some brews.

What is the pricing for canned beer?

Runs around 3.50-3.80-4.00 bucks a can with limits( that may be listed daily on web site)

Can someone explain the two locations?

Brimfield was the original location. Then they moved and expanded to Monson. Then they picked up and moved to Charlton. Monson is currently used as a "storehouse" for "supplies" while Charlton is up and running as the current brewery where everyone… Read more

Does treehouse serve gluten free beer?

We were there on Memorial day weekend and they did not have gf beer. I do not think they brew gf beer, sadly.

We entered and were immediately impressed by the decor and setting. You really feel like you entered a time capsule from a different era, everything is beautiful. We were seated in a cute little area. We ordered our drinks and we really wanted the fish chowder for our app, but they didn't have any (so disappointing). My husband decided on the chili and nothing caught my eye for an app, but I had some bites of the chili and it was very very good! For dinner my husband picked the Beef and Guinness Stew and I picked the Fish and Chips. My fish was very good, but it said it came with hand cut fries and there was no way they were hand cut, they tasted like everything other frozen fries I've had and they were really skimpy on the fries. My husband's Beef and Guinness Stew was awful, he said the meat was very grizzly and tough. We really enjoyed our experience dining in such a beautiful place, we might come back in the summer and give them another try.

As of 2026, there are additional locations in Attleboro, Norwood, and Swansea. I recently made a trip to Yankee Spirits while I was passing through the Sturbridge area. I have visited before, but this was my first visit in about six years or so. They have an absolutely enormous selection of alcoholic beverages, but I was only interested in exploring their very impressive selection of craft beer. I don't make it to this area very often, so I was most looking forward to see if they carried anything that's either hard to find or just totally unavailable in my home area of New Haven, Connecticut. I spent maybe a half hour just walking down the aisles and seeing what all of the options were. Afterwards, I was ready to begin shopping. I ended up purchasing a pretty sizable haul which should keep my refrigerator full for a while. Most of the beers I grabbed were rare barrel-aged stouts, but I also picked out a few IPAs and other various styles that no longer get distribution in my home area. If you're looking for a serious selection of excellent craft beer, wine, or spirts in New England then look no further than Yankee Spirits!

They created the PhD on the subject. It's actually not a good place if you get overwhelmed easily as the store has about 800% inventory at all times and they span from the basics to absolute top shelf temp/humidly controlled storage for basically anything you can drink. Staff is so helpful they make shopping pleasant - I went in looking for Marsala wine to make a chicken dish and after talking to a wine person there I had 3 more dish ideas and left with something completely different than Marsala wine - and it was incredible. Perfect recommendation. The most selection of liquor , the largest variety of cider and microbrews and a staggering selection of wine, again I can't see a reason to go elsewhere anymore.
