came out to inspect my tree. Paid $250 just to have him show up on property. Diagnosed a tree to have an insect (Beetle) that we were not able to see. Told me it would be $650 to treat. I contacted the county to see if there were any other instances of this beetle. What they told me was that if I do have an insect issue that no peticide would eliminate the issue. When I let Tree MD know and asked if this were true, I was ghosted. On two occasions I messaged and was told that they would get back to me. Never happened. I would not use this service and if you do, I would absolutely get a second opinion. There is no doubt that they were going to provide service that was not effective for $650. I would find another arborist! read more

We had the nastiest infestation on our tree. Parker came out and was first and foremost, such a great person to talk with. Incredibly kind and friendly and who you want to work with and such a great knowledge and passion for what he does. Chelsea who took my call and was our coordinator was incredible. We played phone tag a few times and she was so great about it and got the job done! So friendly. We scheduled our treatment and got seen even sooner because they had a cancellation and fit us in. Be warned that they don't check their Yelp messages (I found this out after calling them after no one ever got back to me then they told me they "never check their Yelp") I also don't like how they charge you $250 for an estimate and that it just a sunk cost! That $250 money isn't even applied to future work it is just the fee you have to pay to even get their estimate. I'm saddened leaving a poor review for Parker, who is pleasant and knowledgeable. The problem is that after taking some samples and pictures to further research a disease in my Fullerton Cypress trees he couldn't identify, Parker blew me off. He assured me that he would follow up with whatever he found out. Instead, he took his consultation fee left me hanging. Obviously I don't expect Parker to know everything; I do, however, expect him to keep his word. That being said, my experience with Tree MD is one that I can not recommend. read more

Parker is a miracle tree doctor! I thought there was little hope of saving my palm tree in my front yard. Other tree specialists wanted to cut it down because they said the palm tree was dying. I was so sad. Parker inspected the tree and right away knew what minerals were missing in the soil. He put together a plan to revitalize the tree by making a list of recommendations of nutrients. I followed his recommendation closely for the year and little by little the leaves of the tree started to turn green again! Our palm tree survived! Parker visited our home earlier this week to inspect some king palms that were remaining from others that had been removed due to pink rot. He was a wealth of knowledge and provided suggestions on how to treat all of the trees in our backyard (lemon tree with scale, improperly pruned peach tree, poorly planted pygmy date palms and king palms). His consultation was thorough and extremely affordable. I only wish I had reached out to him before purchasing our palms and peach tree, which he apparently does planning and can help you find what you are looking for at a very reasonable price. We spent thousands of dollars on 10 king palms and Pygmy date palms and a peach at a local large nursery when we could have saved ourselves lots of money, time and headache by going to Parker first. We have 10 fruit trees on our property, planted by the previous owner. They did an amazing job of planting and maintaining them over the almost 40 years they lived here, but in the short 4 years I've been here, through my incompetence, I've managed to almost kill all of them. "Almost"is fortunately the operative word. Then comes Parker, a master arborist. He assured us it was not too late and was certainly not beyond repair. He educated us on what needed to be done then his crew took care of all of it in less than 4 hours, On a Sunday no less! Extremely reasonable price. Great customer service! I called to get a quote on trimming our trees and overall health and received a call back the next hour. We've had our trees trimmed by gardeners and other tree trimming companies before and they've done terrible jobs. This time we wanted an expert who truly cares about trees and loves them as much as we do. Parker is a master botanist! He's incredibly intelligent, personable, and professional. He did a very thorough walk through with my husband and I and discussed every tree and shrub we owned. Was referred to Parker by another arborist that did not want to come to Huntington Beach. Parker was more than willing to come and assess the Silver Maple tree in my backyard. He told me the tree could be saved and gave me an estimate for the work that immediately needed to be done. Finally got the answers no other "tree trimmer" could give me. Parker is a walking encyclopedia on tree diseases and the appropriate methods to attempt to correct them. I was visiting my mom who has several large trees on her property in Garden Grove/Anaheim. We noticed several spots on the tree that had been identified as potential Shot Hole Borer. Parker confirmed the diagnosis and was able to inject the trees with a pesticide that should protect the tree for 3 years. Parker is wonderful to deal with. Knowledgeable, responsive and just downright smart. It's like having a science professor look at your trees, educate you on the range of solutions and get the job done.
