Luis and crew were great. Good experience. Super responsive on quoting, very fast scheduling, competitive pricing. I was actually suspicious of the pricing at first, but it seems like they use tech (in this case a bucket lift truck instead of climbers for the altitude work) where it makes sense. We hired them to remove a couple small dead trees, do a 25' high limb removal, and trim the top deadwood off of another tree. Tree of Life crew rolled up with a team and bunch of equipment, worked quickly as specified with Luis on the quote. They got the planned work done and did not mess around... What really distinguished them to me was the care of the property. They brought blowers and cleaned up after the cutting areas. They brought a chipper for the branches and truck to do any other hauling. For a high cut, they brought in a bucket truck, and laid down rubber track mats to ensure the yard wasn't damaged by the tires. They watched out for the various cables and things attached to our house to avoid damage from limbs. This showed good attention to how they did their work and care for the customer. I had a large tree removed and the stump grinded. The team was prompt, friendly , and seemed to work very efficiently. But when the job was done they left a large pile of sawdust where the stump was, and the entire crew left before I could ask them about options for removing it. Now I have a large pile of sawdust in my yard that I did expect to have to deal with and did not have to deal with when a competitor performed the same service for me. I am hoping the company will ultimately do a great job on the work, and I will update my review again once the work is done. Fingers crossed they will do a great job, like all the other reviewers have experienced. Original Review: Unfortunately, I never received an estimate for the work I was asking for. Luis came out and walked the property with me, while I went over everything I was looking for. Basically it would have been a remodel of the entire exterior landscaping, plus a fence and a french drain. A week later I called to ask if he was going to send me the estimate, but he strung me along, telling me he didn't have my email. I sent it to him, and didn't hear back, so the next day I asked him to just tell me if he wasn't interested in the job. Instead, he told me he still needed to put a couple things together but he was almost done. It is now 2 weeks after that conversation, more than 3 weeks since he initially came out, and still nothing. It's a shame, because his company has good reviews online. Ultimately it's his loss, as it would have been a large job and probably somewhat expensive project. Don't waste your time with this company. read more

Note, I did not do business with Tree of Life (yet) but I did get an estimate. The owner Luis was very responsive and timely. He even came to give an estimate over the weekend. As a new homeowner, I am still figuring things out. When Luis came for my free estimate he informed me that the power company would most likely do the job I was wanting done for free and suggested I call them first to save money. He did not have to do that and I really appreciated his transparency. Eventually I will have the entire tree removed and I will definitely be calling Tree of Life back.
