The Garden Centre has been meticulously sectioned for appropriate social distancing. The lanes are pretty narrow between the rows of plants so most of them are one way only. The signs are at eye-level so it's hard to miss to know which way to go. They even have a disposal station for PPE at the exit for used masks and wipes. All of the employees are Lowe's are super friendly and took the initiative to find out if we needed help. I did some research online ahead of time to see if they had the specific products I wanted in stock at this particular location and they did! Lowe's was the only place that had the bulk sizes of Pro-Mix soil in stock. The product was on sale but the sign hadn't been changed yet. An associate was able to scan the item and let us know what the updated price was. One interesting thing that I saw was that there were torn bags of mulch that were heavily discounted. It was made clear on the sign that the bags were opened and they were separate from the new bags of mulch so you won't have to worry about accidentally getting an opened bag. I had a really pleasant trip picking up gardening supplies! Highly recommend coming to this location for gardening goodies.

I didn't notice at first, but there was someone tailing me. I walked back and forth to be certain. Soon he was just standing two feet away from me. I ended up buying some plants (which I probably shouldn't have. One had some sort of blight.) I was going to ask for help at the counter. However, they were pretty rude at the cash and it was then I realized the follower worked there. Then two of them followed me all the way to the car. I don't know if they thought my pregnant belly was a plant or something, but I was just wearing a summer dress and sandals. No where to hide anything. Plus I was holding my wallet. No purse at all. Honestly, I was scared of the two workers following me. I called my friend to tell her just in case they decided to jump me. When I got to the car, they stared at me and quickly put my plants in the back, then drive away. I have never seen such behaviour and I'm still wondering if they were planning to jump or attack me. This was my first experience ordering flowers from Reeds so I'm not sure if all locations are like this but avoid the Pickering Town Centre location. especially when the coloured hair girl is working. bouquet was 84$ which is expensive for what i received. for my trouble i was offered compensation but after days of not hearing from them, i called back and they offered a 20% of my total in gift cards which wont do me much good since i will not be returning with my business.

When I am in Ajax, I pass by the Real Canadian Superstore often. Shockingly, I had never been in the store until yesterday. My dear friend and I like Joe Fresh. We decided to drop by and check out what this supermarket has to offer. It's a large, typical Real Canadian Superstore. We found the Joe Fresh area and browsed. She was there to look at pants and jeans. I love the selection in this section, especially the loungewear. I like coming to this store to check out nail polish. I haven't given the Joe Fresh brand a try. One of these days, I will give it a shot. There is a huge assortment of gift cards. I have never seen anything like it. I also loved that you can get the lowest price on M&M's chocolate bars. I was happy. The produce is fresh. I also love the bakery. There was plenty of parking here, even with the extra gardening section that blocked up part of it. I will need to visit this store more often. Their seafood section, deli and meat section always features very fresh products. Anything that isn't is sold for discount. If you want to buy deli meat, I recommend buying it from the actually deli counter. The lower cost will save you money. The lack of packaging will save the environment. Win-win, I call it! I bought $5 of parma prosciutto at the deli counter, and the same product would have cost $10 from the fridge case. They have a wide selection of foods from various cultures and cuisines, in addition to books, magazines, clothing and household items. You could do pretty much anything here except auto repairs! There is even a wine store in there. If you want one-stop shopping, then this is the place to go!
