Other arborists I talked to wanted to simply fell them at the base, but this would have caused one of the pines to destroy and/or severely damage an adjacent madrone and oak tree, both of which were important to me. Fox Hollow ArborCare was the only arborist I found who was willing to climb this pine and fell it in place, in pieces.
