We recently had our ancient cesspool filled in and a new septic system installed. This turned our…read moreformerly good looking side and front yard into acres of dirt, and damaged/collapsed retaining wall. While the septic installers did an awesome job filling-in and regrading, we had a lot of work to do in order to make it look presentable again. We also had to consider the settling that was likely to go on for up to several years in our plans. We called a few local landscaping companies including Papiro Landscaping, Inc. Papiro was by far the most professional, attentive and friendly company we met with. We hired them to fix our wall (rather than replacing it since settling was still likely to occur), sod the whole area, install proper drainage from our gutters underground and do some plantings in the front. The work came out wonderfully. They coordinated with our sprinkler company that installed some new heads to ensure the area was adequately covered, and did excellent work overall. Though we were warned it would be difficult to repair and match the wall, it came out looking better than it did before. We're very happy with the work and our interactions with them. I'd recommend them highly for any work and fully intend to call them again when we're ready for our next outdoor project.

I've seen advertisement for 5-6 ft or 6-7 ft and the quality/fullness of the trees seem to varies on the landscapers. This season was also apparently tough on inventory and some of the landscapers I spoke with had trouble getting the trees at the right height we wanted. (I know construction supplies are low too, we've been looking into other home reno projects) Jack was very responsive from the beginning when I first reached out and when I asked, sent me photos, video and even face timed me to show me examples of the trees I would be getting. His brother also paid an in person visit and chatted with my neighbor and I about what they can do and the location for planting. I spoke with a few other landscapers but ultimately went with J&R because they were responsive, straightforward and the price was competitive! The trees ended up looking great, fat and tall and gave me instant privacy!!

I watched him run over a paper cup on my lawn instead of pick it up he kept running it over ,then when he was done didn't even bother to blow it off the lawn ,he left the shreds of paper on the lawn.2.)I had true green apply chemicals on my lawn and I forgot to pull up the one of the warning sign they leave . I watched him run it over and leave all the plastic bits in the lawn.3.)There were some dead bunches of leaves by the curb by my lawn that when he was done he blew them under some bushes between mine and my neighbors house.Half of the debree that he did manage to blow off my lawn ended up half way across the street in front of my neighbor's house. I'm sure I'll hear about later from them.My yard isn't nicely landscaped. But I like to have it at least look clean.He just left when I took these pictures. There was everything you could imagine. From flowers and plants, to trees and vegetable plants. There was also a selection of sculpture, lawn items and even works of art. Where could I being. It was all here. And it was worth the time I took to walk around and see what I needed today, and what I need to come back for to have in my home. I walked around and saw more than I expected. The best was that when I first walked in one of the Garden Experts walked over and asked me what I might be looking for. He made recommendations and said he was always available if I had a question. As for the prices of the items, some were expensive, but most were the right price for what you were selecting. It was ideal. I even saw a sculpture I had never seen before. I like it and will consider it for a following day. It was a good idea to have when I decide where to place it.
