I feel like he really advocates in the best interest of our trees, where other folks told us to make big chops/cut trees down. This fall, Andrew and Ashley came out to prune our trees and take out a messy mulberry tree. Andrew did a wonderful and thorough job, we could tell he was very meticulous in the cuts he chose to make to make sure the tree stayed healthy (and away from our house!)! They were very respectful, thoughtful and asked a lot of questions before they begin their work. They primarily used Rope cutting tools and an electric saw ; we didn't hear the typical roaring of chainsaws in their work. They were very protective of my neighbors, little tree and her house. We had branches leaning over her property as part of this work. They removed all the cuttings. It was a great experience working with them.

My neighbors whom were home while the trees were being trimmed/pruned, were in disbelief watching how Dan's staff were destroying 1 one my trees. They had speculating that they were going to take down the whole tree. I was not at home at the time, due to my trust in Dan & his prior work on my property. I was truly in tears upon my return home. Had I known that Dan was not going to be on site for the very expensive work that I had originally agreed to, I would have contracted with another company. The first was a ginormous River Birch that was within 6 inches of my house (sagging over time). Not a job for the DIYer. MET brought an army and the right equipment and made that beast a memory in about 5 hours. In addition, they pruned branches from 4 of my other trees. The arborist did in minutes what would have taken me days. My neighbor got some firewood out of the deal. The second was a problem Box Elder (multiple trunks near the rear property line corner) that decided to drop a trunk on my shed one day and one in my yard the next. MTE came to the rescue and removed that beast one and all in quick order. My neighbors can now sleep in peace. They also took out a tree in my front yard that had been quiet quitting for awhile. From the very start these guys were the best. Getting a quote was quick and easy - they came out to the house the same day I called. On the day of the removal - they showed up on time with a crane, a semi-truck, and loads of equipment and workers. It was all business - they knew what they were doing - it took under 3 hours to complete the job - lifting sections of this huge ash tree over the yard and into the street to cut up and haul away. Everything was professional and expertly done - I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to anyone who needs tree work.
