The sandwiches we got were delicious. However the dessert flight was not what was advertised. I was expecting a brownie with ice cream, a cheesecake, and creme brulee. What we got was freezer burnt ice cream, a couple small Boston creme donut things from Safeway or a similar grocery store, more whipped cream and chocolate sauce, and another grocery store lemon pie slice with whip cream and more chocolate sauce. There was chocolate sauce on my debit card that was given to me. Overall the food was great ! Just avoid the dessert. That was not worth $20.. everything was freezer burnt and that was not the desserts on the picture nor was there a description of it being available desserts. I have to say, this the second "dive bar" in appearance that shocked me good. I came in because it appeared in a Yelp search but I had never heard of it. So, my wife and I thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did! We sat at the bar, even though there was plenty of seating, and were addressed by the server promptly. We ordered a chicken sandwich to share and the soup flight. The sandwich was great and the soups were really great! All three of them. I had a really good huckleberry cider and my wife a citric IPA. We both like our drink. As a bonus, they have several TV's to watch sports games on. They have a small patio for the warm days. We will be back for sure to enjoy good food, service and a fun time. read more

I searched "best food in CDA" and this place came up and I'd never been so I talked my friend into going and I was soooo unimpressed. It's basically pub food and they had the doors all open and it was so chilly outside so we were just in a constant draft and cold. I wouldn't return... I tried the sampler so I could taste everything on the app menu and it really wasn't that great and the menu didn't really have much to offer. I'll try somewhere else next time. read more

If I recall, this place used to be a bar named "Stormin' Norman's". You can tell it used to be a bar. Still, there's plenty of seating. I had the nachos and the wings, and the wife got the tostada. The buffalo wings were spicy enough, making the top of my head sweat. The nachos were good. The tostada was some crazy fusion of Mexican and Korean, and it worked. Full bar, good beer selection, the noise isn't too bad, and the location is perfect for walking around downtown. I like it. read more

We went here last night to celebrate our daughter's birthday. What a cool little spot, they had board games you can bring to the table! Our waitress was so attentive and very sweet, she was really great! The chicken was so juicy and full of flavor. I got the chicken and waffles with blueberries on top. Well Treehouse has them all beat, ordered the BLT with fries, the first bite my taste buds were doing the Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy dance and every bite after. What an awesome experience! I stumbled upon the Treehouse Cafe online, and thought I would take my BFF who was visiting out of state with me to try an early dinner! We arrived and we were met by Nick, a fantastic server! We loved the seating overlooking the main street outside, and the menu was so exciting! Nick was so eager to tell us all about the menu - and it the variety of sides for the handhelds were unique! My friend and I both opted for the ciabatta dip (with pepper bacon jam!) and the Mexican street corn salsa, after choosing an appetizer of batters mushrooms. The unique thing about their mushrooms is that they use seasonal mushrooms, not just regular button mushrooms! They were oyster mushrooms, this time around, and we were given garlic aioli and we also asked for some ranch! The food was top notch, but the service was even top notchier! Happy Hour gives $2 off each of the appetizers (we came at the right time!) - those mushrooms! Ask for their huckleberry menu too! Nick was our server and was stellar! We left, and it was starting to fill up and apparently they have all you can eat spaghetti on Thursday nights?! Amazing! Will definitely be back again! read more

We came here for a meal early evening on a Friday which was good because it certainly filled up during our visit. We had four adults and one child in our group and the menu was perfect for all of us, including the kids menu. I think the fries were amongst the best I have ever eaten, the burgers were excellent and we were happy with the drinks as well. Service was great and servers were friendly. If you're in the area this place is a must stop! I'm on a month-long camping road trip and I had a few bumps in the road and that ended me in Coeur d'Alene Idaho in a little motel that advertises Storman Norman's on their key cards. I normally really look into restaurants and bars before I go to them and this time I said screw it were just going there and it was the best decision I've ever made. The food was amazing! The bartender was friendly and engaging and so kind and helpful. I really wish I would remember his name because he was so incredible tonight! I enjoyed meeting one of the customers there and playing that little ring toss game thing for a shot and everything about this place is just welcoming and warm. What a fun and friendly place! Mixed drinks are good, especially if you don't mind some extra protein. One bottle got dumped because of this "extra nutrition". Thankfully I was done ordering. Beer was flat until the 3rd pour. Our bad for staying, this was a last minute choice as our first option was privately booked. It's definitely a bar, with some food options, wings were ok, the rest of our order took 30 minutes and was not impressed. It's tv central and kind of cold decor wise. I read a lot of great reviews and am wondering peoples' expectation levels. Like it's a bar. With food. Our server kept herself busy while complaining it was dead, yet couldn't get our stuff in a timely manner, and had more conversations with random pop up friends than customers.
