    Potty stop!

My father in law booked this zipline adventure for the whole family who had gathered for his 70th birthday up in Northern Ca. We took the hour drive to Treehouse Ziplines (actually in Oregon) and had a very memorable experience. Our group ranged in age from 4 to 70 years old and while on the same adventure, despite the age gap, managed to have a blast. It's not often you can find an activity that captures and keeps the attention of a 4 year old, a 40 year old and a 70 year old, right? We went for the 6 cable course "Mountain View Zipway" $65/person and were never bored for a minute. The (2) instructors were all about safety, and were very professional (while telling corny jokes). The first zipline course, was very close to the ground, so everyone could practice hand braking, form and following instructions. My two girls (aged 4 and 6) didn't want to do the zip lines at all, but after the practice run, were begging to try the next higher, higher, and higher zipline. I'm generally a pretty adventurous person, however, while perched on a tiny platform 70 feet in the air, I had to take a deep breath, and remember I was tethered to the tree and my father-in-law had already paid for the adventure, so I could continue! Not for the faint of heart. The instructors were very patient with my young ones, and also my MIL, who had some points of nervousness. They always made sure everyone felt comfortable and ready to zip off through the trees before letting go. Overall, we got to see some amazing views of the gorgeous Southern Oregon treelines, from a birds-eye view, gain some major confidence in ourselves, and form some totally awesome family bonds. Also on the grounds is this amazing Treehouse Resort, where you can actually sleep in some crazy treehouses. We weren't able to go see the inside but the exterior was pretty cool. Next time, we'll have to stay and totally veg out in nature - swinging from the trees and sleeping under the stars.

The guides did an excellent job. Our first time ziplining. They certainly made us feel safe n at ease through out. Loved our experience n would definitely do it again.

We went on all the ziplines and also did the Tarzan swing, the Tarzan swing was so much fun I would definitely recommend paying the extra to do it.

Admission is a bit steep, at $30 for adults and $25 for seniors. No extra fees for dogs. The trails contained plenty of dog poop bags, trash cans, and restrooms. It is quite well maintained. The trees are massive and nice to look at the vast variety. The Redwood Canopy Trail was cool to explore and is pretty short. There is also a gondola that takes you to an observation deck, though you may not be able to see anything if it is foggy. There are a couple of audio tapes that explain stories behind some of the figures that were there. Last but not least, the gift shop at the very end had lots of unique goodies to commemorate your time here.

The parking lot is large, with space for plenty of cars and tour buses. There are multiple buildings on the property, with a very large gift shop (ended up buying some souvenirs here, including salt and pepper shakers made from redwood), a shop that sells homemade fudge, and a private shop that sells more high end artistic crafts and artifacts. The restrooms are in a separate building to the side. Today wasn't the right time to take the gondola ride (1,500 foot high over the forest floor) and trail hike ($30 per adult), so will need to try it some other time when we have more time and ability to hike.

The trip to Hellgate is just the right amount of time to not get fidgety. Dinner far exceeded all of our expectations. It is served family style, and there was more food than we could finish. My favorite was the cornbread, arguably the best I've ever had. The chicken and ribs weren't half bad either. The driver toned it down a bit on the way back, as the temperatures were starting to cool and we didn't really want to get too soaked. Everything was run very professionally. The pilot was very skilled at driving the boat, and knew every inch of the river. Nice views of wildlife along the way. Waiting in the long line was a bit of a pain, but we were lucky that with a big group we were able to wait under the Taprock patio so we had some shade. Overall Highly recommended!!

I went on it again and very happy to say "Best jet boat ride ever!" Lots of nature but best part was the spins. I was a little worried because most of the spins were going to be after a buffet brunch. Felt fine. Better than fine. It was great! When I say best, this would best of five or more Jet Boat trips I've taken. Use sunblock or better yet, a hat that ties or inches under your chin. Total fun even with a tad bit of red skin at my hairline.

Had a wonderful time with the family in this gorgeous side of Klamath Falls, Oregon! We wanted to…read moredo both kayaking and zip lining but free from tours and practically do our own kayaking. We decided to purchase them separately - 3-hour tandem kayaking (2 people in 1 kayak) for one day and zip lining for the following day. Unlike some people, we're not super fit individuals so, for us, it was a great idea to separate the 2 activities and get some rest and recuperation in between. The 3-hour kayaking was fantastic with gorgeous views all around. Contrary to what other bad reviews experienced... maybe things have been changed since then? Anyways, from my experience the process was rather simple and painless. The meeting point was clear in the email and a text message with a link to fill out waivers for each party member was very, very simple to complete and submit. Email confirmations were received just in case I needed to show proof of waiver completions. The staff drove the 2 tandem kayaks (family of 4) to the drop off point not far from their base. We requested for life vests but after seeing how deep the water is in the lake, it definitely wasn't needed at all. It's practically shallow throughout the lake EXCEPT for the drop off point. We know how to swim too so really, the life vests aren't necessary if you know how to swim (or stand/float in 2-3 feet depths). We made a right from the drop off point and found an opening for pathway between the bushes - LOOONG kayaking path we came across but definitely worth the view, peace, tranquility, and workout! We eventually found our way out but if you plan to have the kayaks for 3 hours max, you may not want to take the inner pathways and just enjoy the open lake otherwise try to keep a good pace throughout the inner path. Very fun experience. The next day we decided to do the zip lining (Crater Lake Ziplining) and with Ethan and Shiloh as our guides/instructors, we had tons of fun! The zip lining adventure involves learning the basics for safety purposes (which they go through with you thoroughly and even have you try it out before live action), no pressure in case you want to back out, no tolerance for anything unsafe (like unhooking your line - just don't do it!), a few great and long lines to zip through, a couple of drops to make you feel like an assassin super star in an action movie, and wonderful group people to enjoy this activity with! Makes sure you purchase the photo package towards the end to capture all of your fun moments. I do admit the prices are a bit high compared to some places I've been to, but then again the scenery wasn't quite as beautiful as the surroundings in Klamath Falls. So all in all, I'd say worth the price tag that comes with it. Highly recommended - a MUST if you plan to stop by or pass through Klamath Falls. Be sure to use Bug Spray before you go!
