I would definitely use Glass Guru again if something like this happens.

We then compiled a list of 3-4 companies. When we first contacted Craftsmen, we were told they were too busy helping existing clients and could not take on any new work at that time. Initially we were put off by this. I mean really in today's competitive environment who would not want to help new customers? A company who offers an unbeatable lifetime warranty on their labor. We were in the beginning stages of our planning so this allowed us time to get other estimates. This also allowed us to contact Craftsmen again a couple of months later. After all they were at the top of our list. This time we were able to schedule our estimate with Erik. While we felt we had done sufficient research and were prepared, Erik educated us on additional information and options. We were pleased with their estimate and offer and proceeded with Craftsmen. Nic was was our main contact however we worked also worked with Joni. We felt that Craftsmen was very well organized and communicated very well with us. They also worked well with us as we made adjustments during the process. We added gutters, then a front door and garage door. Also figured since we were doing siding, that we could upgrade our outdoor lights too. We had a good crew who not only worked efficiently, they did a good job of cleaning up at the end of each day. Whenever we had any questions or concerns, Nic addressed those professionally. Tony was great as he came over a few times to touch up and put the finishing touches on our job. I can't recall Tony's wife's name however she was great sending us several different color models of our home while we tried to settle on our colors. This was more challenging than we thought it would be. All in all a very good experience. Experienced company with a solid reputation and unbeatable warranty. Craftsmen specializes in siding, roofing and windows. Thanks to Craftsmen we are set for a while on our siding, our windows are new however our roof will be the next project to address in the future. It's much brighter than the dingy old planks, which were replaced with a composite Trex flooring that matches the shakes on our house. Railings and posts are white, and the crew even added a doggie gate so our dogs can spend time on the deck but cannot go down to back yard. So there was allot of back and forth as to what was promised and what we actually ended up getting. A 3 week job took 6-8 months at one point had a trailer in my front yard for a couple months during holidays thanksgiving and Christmas all the siding off the house. Family came up looked horrible to have family arriving and no siding and a Krumm enclosed trailer in the front yard. There's allot more I asked that my windows and aluminum siding be left at my residence was told no problem. It was all hauled off. Told them I wanted no holes in my roof. They installed a satellite dish that was not hooked up back in the roof. I asked to have the shudders put back in the home. The guys argued everytime I mentioned it. You don't want that. You'll get wasps. Ya I do t want that. My wife does! The mate are cheap mernards crap windows and metal. Windows ordered were wrong size. Corners of the edges of home have gaps in the top. They didn't want to do the facia when they did they threw it up looks like crap. I can keep going. I in no way would recommend this company. I'd say stay away at all costs. When the facia they put up came loose. Took about 3 weeks to a month to have that nailed back up. Bent nail under a shingle the same thing. I highly recommend using any other company.
