Service and response time should not be 3 weeks to get water issues fixed. But lack of a timely response, caused a mold issue in the laundry room that prompted another request to repair, response back that it would be remediated and get down to real issues causing this 3 weeks debacle! read more

The apartments are nice but management is not. If you cross them once, good luck getting anything done. We have been without a dishwasher since April, and we still get excuses. Our air conditioner is out and we have reported as a maintenance request and told the manager personally. Not sure when they will work on it. We were told that two times in a row the manager told the exterminator to skip our apartment number. We had asked management if he was coming and she said he should have been there, I'm not sure why he missed your apartment. Lie after lie after lie. She calls herself "the enforcer." When we moved in we were supposed to be in a first floor 3 bed with a sunroom. They messed up and put us temporarily in a 2nd floor apartment. When the apartment finally came available, the new manager was here and said we would have to pay to get the carpet replaced and pay a new deposit on the other apartment. We refused and are still on the second floor. Our lease is up in a few Days. Hallelujah! Of course if I post this before we leave, she may try to evict us. I guess we'll get a bill instead a refund on our apartment. Oh, well. read more

I would highly suggest not living here. This was probably the worst housing experience of my life. We originally moved here to get more living space, little did I know the headache it would be. Starting out it wasn't too bad-nothing glaringly bad. The apartment was decent but it came with its issues, bathtubs dirty, laminate floor pulled up, cigarette smell from the breezeways, dog poop all over the ground. As time went on more issues arose, our central AC and heat went out multiple times, 6 times to be exact throughout our lease. Maintenance would come and "fix" it after putting in 2-3 maintenance requests every time it went out, but it was never completely fixed until about a 1.5 months until we moved out. And when maintenance did come they would leave a mess. The volleyball court and tennis court have been "under construction" for more than a month now and they have officially closed the pool last week until further notice. So basically most of the amenities do not work, and theres no plan for when everything will be back up and running, at least none that have been relayed to the residents who PAY MONEY to live here. Also they have community wifi and cable here, just another charge to throw at you. You can't opt out or anything either, spectrum has had to come out numerous times to fix issues that were being caused from outside the building. Their website where you pay rent is difficult to figure out what you're getting charge for and what you owe( but this is an issue with many complexes) Besides the physical side of things, management is a pain to deal with. You can't resolve anything by a simple call because trust me they will not pick up their phone. If you somehow get a hold of them, they never have an answer and when they say they will get back to you they rarely ever do. The only way to get something resolved it go stand in the leasing office until someone notices you there. The cherry on top of everything my car was towed, went to the office to get an explanation, they stated it was because my tire was flat. The manager at the leasing office stated she would call the impound lot to try to see if they could give me a deal...never heard back. Took it upon myself to try to make a deal with the impound lot instead. Went to the impound lot after spending $300 to get it out to find out that the tire was in fact not flat (even confirmed with the workers at the impound lot they they wouldn't have inflated the tire) Had to take time off work due to this whole situation. When trying to get reimbursed because obviously my car didn't have a flat tire so the was no reason to tow it...big surprise no one answered or returned my call. I would pay $300 to just never have to deal with this people again. These are the reasons I moved out a month before my lease ended, couldn't stand to live there anymore. I ended up just moving back to the place I moved from originally. Save your time, money, and the headache and just don't live here. read more

Have lived here for three years. Will be moving when this lease is up. Older management was great. They changed recently, and repairs are ignored or just rigged instead of repaired, emergency exit sign has been out since I've been Here, and I have complained about it, new management tacked on fees that they called "back pay", garbage isn't removed on the days it's supposed to be removed, and garbage piles up at the disposal site. For a site that calls itself luxury, I'm not sure they understand the definition ot the word. With the new management this past summer, the pool.was closed more than it was open. Community events are no longer. Washing machines and dryers aren't repaired in a timely manner. And if you have any maintenance repairs, good luck. Our dishwasher is constantly broken, we were told we were getting a new one, but it was "repaired" instead. For three months we've had no dishwasher in a luxury apartment. A simple appliance, and simple.fix. My last request to fix it was a month ago. Now the maintainence repair request page doesn't work. Don't move here. They don't clean between tenants moving in and out. So if the previous tenants had a cat and your allergic, your just screwed. Don't move in here. There are better places. Much better read more

Been here about a year and let me tell you its been all issues. First of all you have to drive to front of the compound to drop off your trash. The trash is not taken as often as it should trash all over at times. Packages stolen from very beginning of moving in, Gas siphon from car, no follow up from management team when you call. Dogs feces all over no one cleans it up and dogs bark all night, I have complained a month now and the manager said this is first time she herd. So the office staff does not know how to do their job. Also, when you pay online you can NEVER tell what is truly owed because it is never correct you have to add all the fees they charge plus the rent to ensure you have correct accounting. I lived here for three years and wanted to share my experience of living here... Pro's: - Maintenance team is usually responsive and quick - Location is close near everything in Florence Con's: - The apartment we were showed on the tour was much more updated than the apartment we were assigned. Plus we were told we'd have a sunroom and were given one without. We did not have any other options since we arrived to get the keys with our U haul full of our belongings. No apologies by the staff. - Parking is terrible. Even if you pay up for a garage or covered spot, the one we had was a couple hundred feet from our actual apartment. Not convenient. - No one ever answers the phone at the front desk so you better take off work early to actually be able to speak to someone. - If you renew your lease, auto-pay automatically gets removed from the online portal and you will get hit with a $115 late fee with no warning from the system that auto-pay was disconnected. - Dog poop is everywhere, no one seems capable of picking up after their pets. Also, the hallways to the apartments are disgusting. - The HVAC in our unit was so loud you had to turn the TV up to full volume just to be able to hear over it. Not sure if this was every unit, or just ours. - Finally, there are ~$200-300 of mandatory fee's that are on top of your monthly rent. This is disclosed when you sign your lease, but not during the tour or advertised on any literature. Overall, this place was the worst managed apartment complex I have ever lived at, they nickel and dime you everywhere and some aspects, like the auto pay disconnection, just feel predatory. The issue I had with Trellises did not arise until I moved from the complex. While there, the complex was nice, rent at the time (2019-2020) was reasonable, and the complex was peaceful. 18 months after I moved, however, a month's rent was taken from my account through their automated system. Why the management company still had access to my bank account, I have no idea. They took the rent, and I had to contact them to figure out why the money was taken. They didn't even take the initiative to contact me after it happened! They stated, which I don't believe, there was a breach in their system, and money was taken from inactive accounts. I really believe they thought people would not notice the money was taken, at least not right away, if they no longer lived in the complex, so those were the accounts that were breached. When I asked them to immediately replace the money, they said they couldn't until the rent checks from current renters were processed- meaning they did not have the money to pay me back. I am not sure if the management company for the Trellises had fallen on hard times or what, but what they did is considered stealing. While they did pay me my money back, for that reason, I would not advise anyone to live in this complex, nor another complex managed by the Ackermann Group. read more

I love living here. My family and I have been here for almost 3 years. They are very pet friendly. It like living in a small community. All throughout the year they do very nice thing to show their appreciation to the tenants not to mentions all the community activities they have throughout the entire year. Rushed us to move into an apartment with nasty carpets , the photos were taken after their attempt to clean them. It has now been almost a week and nothing is resolved we are now forced to clean them ourselves because we cannot put all of our furniture on that dirty carpet especially with two kids and one on the way. They don't want to just replace the carpet because it would cost them too much money but said it would be okay to break our lease for the amount of two months rent! This is just the top reason this place is already horrible. We don't have pets why would we want to live with carpets like this and it shouldn't be our responsibility to clean carpets in this bad of a condition. Don't make the same mistake we did . read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. Rudest people to work with and the apartments look nothing like the pictures. There are bugs everywhere and they don't come spray. Our air conditioning unit has been out for two weeks and nothing has been fixed and it's now July. You're better off pitching a tent under the local overpass. read more

I have lived in Apartments before, but never have he walls been so thin. I keep hearing "Well I hear that as well"' from the leasing office employee that lives on property. We have had issues from the dishwasher smelling like a sewer, issues with both toilets, the master bathroom smelled like a urinal, and many more. Took way longer than expected for the problems to be fixed. The maintenance people leave a mess when the do repair something. If you decide to move, ask about your neighbors. If they have a big dog, be ready to hear the stomping of the dog or dogs running around. If you're wondering still about paper thin walls.... I wake up on my days off at 5am because my upstairs neighbor goes to work at 5am. read more

Trellises is a great place to call "home". The management staff always greets you with a smile and are quick to attend to any problems that arise. The grounds and facilities staff work to keep the areas clean. The workout rooms are open 24//7 and the pool makes you feel like you are at a resort! We have a carport which is the best investment you can make! I love the safety of lit walkways and the beauty I get to see from my balcony. The rooms are spacious and the included cable makes it well worth the price! read more

DONT MOVE HERE! After expenses you're looking at $1,000 or more a month! I may have to seek legal action as they are tacking on a extra "electric charge" in the middle of my lease even tho my lease clearly STATES that "other common utilities" is NOT marked as my responsibility and clearly states what is. Pest, water, waste, etc. I pay electric myself directly to electric company, they are also switching from dropping a check at the office, literally the simplest easiest way to entering a code at like Kroger and paying that way which includes a additional $3 charge. So wait in line to make a payment cuz these guys are now to good for a check in a drop box, the parking is terrible, half the spaces you have to pay for, $75 for a garage, $30 for a over head. No one wants to pay this so clearly free spots are always taken up, only 1 dumpster in back and 1 in front so they over flow as seen in pic on here. They simply DONT CARE about you... Their notice letters are contradicting, I got 2 this month where one says "no longer necessary" sounding like its optional just to get another stating its mandatory to change from check to electric payment IN MID LEASE! So I work 50hr weeks, paying over $1,000 just in living expenses now I'm expected to figure out how to pay electrically just to wait in line to do so and be charged $3 more none of which was our agreement... HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place, HORRIBLE customer service, oh I had to demand a hard copy of my lease, they wanted to be electric on that to, I had to explain its a legal document with my name I can expect a hard copy. Worst place to live. Too expensive with their added fees and they don't care about people picking up after their pets. Have to pay for cable even though you don't want it. Maintenance people are rude also. Definitely can't wait until I love out. read more
