Over the years it has changed into an outdoor mall, basically a fancy strip mall, with stores I am not much interested in. Too many clothes stores and salons. Around the edges are some cooler shops and restaurants. Parking is a hassle, lanes are too small, be very careful even at the edges of the main lot. I come once in a long while for Whole Foods, and the other day went to Tiki Botanicals, which I had never even noticed here, though we go to the GV location often. I'll be back someday.

I registered to join them; they provided coffee and donuts for 7-9 am earlybirds, as well as providing copies for purchase. The staff here is so very nice and helpful. They work very hard on events that one can register for on Eventbrite. There is a great selection of books, and a children's section in the back. Plenty of parking in this U.A. shopping center and right around the corner is The Original Goodie Shop!

Step right this way. They still have little magnetic calendars for your kitchen with their info on it (free of course). Surprisingly it has the correct date when you would not be surprised if it read "1963." Honest to goodness, go into this place and look around, it will blow you away. I'm afraid and hopeful at the same time that I'll walk out and the parking lot will be filled with giant 60s American cars, and I will be back in the Kennedy era. Hasn't happened yet, but we'll see. The first Monday of every month the warehouse is open to staff, but you need to call and set up a time to come in. This was their first in-person sale in over three years due to covid, and since I'm three months new to OSU, I was interested to see just what this warehouse was all about. Mostly all outdated surplus, this warehouse is huge and packed floor to high-ceiling of cleaning supplies, furniture, computer monitors, and that was just the first few aisles. Erik is the head honcho, so he and the other workers found me the perfect laptop cart - for $0 - SCORE!

Most of their inventory is the typical leftover school furniture -- lab tables, desks, chairs, bookcases, random lamps -- although sometimes they have odd things like a piano, exercise equipment, library carts. The computers usually go really early in the morning. You can check their inventory online at their website, although it is not always very descriptive. I have seen some nice office furniture like coffee tables and side chairs which would not look amiss in a living room. There are also some nice antique looking desks that could be refinished to look very nice. I've bought a couple of solid old wood chairs for $5 each, and there are some decent desk chairs to be had for the same price. The selection varies widely from week to week.
