What does that mean? Well instead of having the same flavor take up a ton of space like most places, these guys fit nearly 500 flavors into their space. It's crazy. I thought I was fairly fluent in hot sauce brands (I've got around 30-40 bottles at home), but these guys taught me how young I am. I spent a bit of time just appreciating the wall before really digging in and trying to figure out how to explain to my wife that I needed at least 3 more bottles of hot sauce. We settled on 2 bottles and then I got 4. The owner was there and was great to talk with. He made a lot of good recommendations. I ended up getting the Carribean Reef Shark Scotch Bonnet sauce, the CaJohns Serrano sauce, the Ghost Scream, and an Irazu Volcanic Pepper Sauce. The prices were reasonable, and I also got some discount from The Quilted Bear for Memorial Day. Anyone that is in to hot sauce should make it a point to stop here. If you're still wasting your time on that Cholula, Tapatio, or...heaven forbid...Tabasco, you should do yourself a favor and stop by here. They also do tasting on some Saturdays and seem to be active at various events/farmer's markets, so if you have a chance to meet them there, it's worth it.

I purchased a $28 peach basket that was advertised as a fill-your-own basket. After I filled the basket with peaches, an employee told me it was "too high" and removed several peaches without asking me first. What bothered me most was not the policy itself, but the way it was handled. If there is a limit to how full the basket can be, I would have appreciated that being explained before I filled it, or at least being asked whether I still wanted to purchase the basket after peaches were removed. I ended up paying the full $28 for significantly fewer peaches than I had originally selected. I understand that costs have gone up and that businesses need to set limits, but clear communication and good customer service go a long way. I've enjoyed shopping here for years, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve communication with customers in the future.
