Do not I repeat do not waste your money and go to this school. If you are in the Raleigh are please go to the Sean Ingram Academy you get more for your money. There is no kit fee you get shirts and you only have to purchase a book which is on amazon and they tell you that upfront. Why waste 350/600.00 on a kit when that stuff is the cheapest stuff they can find. They are definitely getting over Tracey claims she is a upright person but her tuition changes based on her need for money. Why pay $3,500 for a class that you can get much more for your money at the academy. The school has a salon look to it so you get the feel of working in a salon the lighting is better all tables have lights on them there is little lighting at Trendy Nailz. After you pay her $3,500 she wants you to pay her to refill supplies which Sean Ingram you don't even need a kit everything that you need us at the school all you need is a textbook also they your tuition at Sean Ingram Academy covers your state board exams theory and practical. Beware of Tracey all she does is go from one student to the next talking about them she is very unprofessional at times. She wants the money but you do most of the work so she really getting over. It's way too much money for what she does which is hardly nothing. She is cheating state board making them think her students are being taught well numbers don't have to lie but people do. Well, where do I begin? I came to this school originally because I loved the techniques that they teach you Vs the normal nail tech classes that you learn at a college. I came to class not ever touching acrylic in my life and in the past ten weeks I have learned more than I could expect! I feel comfortable doing nails & I know it's only up from here! Not only have I gained much knowledge I have gained friends for life. Mrs. Hester & Mrs. Washington are amazing! Mrs. Washington is so knowledgeable & a great teacher. She is understanding & gives the best constructive criticism! Mrs. Hester is so humble & she is one of the biggest influences in my life now. She is a goal oriented woman who is about her business & I strive to be just like her. I am a former student of Trendy Nailz who graduated summer of 2019 passed state board and became a licensed nail artist. Choosing this school was the BEST decision I made. I was seeking a career change from corporate, and when I went to speak with Tracey (owner) about the program I was highly motivated to make the change. I am a former trendy nail alumni student just want to say I had an awesome experience. I can honestly say I've learned a lot. I went from not knowing anything at all about nails to now being very comfortable with applying acrylic & Etc. It's a real sisterhood here. I've made life long friends. As a student, I struggled in the beggining but my inner nail tech finally came out and I was able to do and make beautiful nails.
