This company was running an estate sale in haddon heights on Saturday Sept. 14th. I was waiting in…read moreline to pay for my things and the person in front of me asked if they would reduce the price from 114.50 to 114.00 so she didn't have to break her 20. the woman working was extremely rude to the customer. She simply asked if she would take off the .50 cents and the woman stated that "they are not a Wawa, shes worked in estate sales for 16 years, and that's not how they do things." among other responses and tone, it made me not want to buy my things from the workers. so I left the items behind. I will not be going to their estate sales after that interaction and disrespectful attitude.

I recently attended an estate sale in DE. Firstly, I was put off by the fact that everyone had to…read moreleave their purses/bags, etc. in their cars. There's nothing that gives one warm and fuzzies like telling someone you don't trust them before you know them! Secondly, before the sale started, the owner of the company came out and gave a little speech in which she said that if she saw anyone taking anyone else's stuff, pushing, or any kind of bad behavior, she would kick you out. NICE! Thirdly, the company supplied you will little blue bags, the size of a grocery store plastic bag in which to put the merchandise you wanted. There was a lot of stuff in this house, and one or two or even three of those bags wasn't going to do it if you wanted a lot of stuff, as I did. 4.) Most of the stuff wasn't marked, thus you didn't know how much you were spending until you wanted to check out. When she gave you a price, there was no negotiating. 5.) The stuff that was marked tended to be WAY over priced. Even on the 2nd day, when items were 1/2 price, they were STILL over priced, and still, there was no negotiating. Kind of dumb when you're trying to empty a full house! 6.) The owner of the company had a real attitude. I wasn't the only person with these opinions. I spoke with several other buyers in the house. I will skip this company's sales in the future. I like to deal with nice people who know the value of what they have and what they are there to do...i.e., get rid of stuff, not hold on to it to make a point.

I went to an estate sale this morning that was run by Treasure Chest Estate Sales. I love estate…read moresales, but it seems like when they're directed by companies rather than individuals, the quality decreases. PROS: The company seems to run very professionally and is attentive to Covid guidelines. They only allowed a few people in at a time, masks required, good signage, out front, etc. CONS: Most things were not priced to sell so much as they were priced for profit. Also, a staff member was with you in every room kind of hovering (if they weren't initially in the room, they followed you into the room). As a customer, this felt awkward and uncomfortable.

It was my first experience with Treasure Chest Estate Sales and I can say it was one of the best…read moreexperiences ever. Amazing at everything starting with the beautiful, polite, and professional staff. Their team member was in every room and when I had a question regarding the stuff they were selling, I was getting a detailed description of an item. The staging was professional and very organized. The prices were reasonable, all the items were priced with clear price tags, just some of them were missing the tags, but team members who were working in every room were very helpful in providing prices and descriptions of an item. The company offers moving services for purchased items and it was very helpful for me when they delivered a piece of furniture that I bought. They were very professional with Covid guidelines. Taking temperatures to every attendee, providing sanitizers, gloves, masks, and shoe covers. All was just perfect!
