Had the worst service here today for my daughter and I. We have come many times before but will not be back nor will we ever recommend again. The girls who were doing our pedicure had the worst possible attitude. Our smiles were greeted with stares and mumbling to each other in Spanish which we both understood. My teenage daughter felt so uncomfortable as did I. This all before her graduation. My daughter's toes were not filed properly , she asked for square her toes are currently uneven and rounded. The big toe which gel was applied to fix was not filed down properly and looks like a curved bubble. So disappointed. I felt as though the man in charge was also very dismissive in our wishes and was not able to file down and finish the big toes after he helped with the initial application. The tech did not know what she was doing to properly fix. We don't even have time to go elsewhere to fix before her graduation. Can't believe this even occurred today. read more

I came here to get my acrylics removed and get a normal manicure on top. The staff was a bit standoffish which was fine, however the reason for my low rating is because my nail tech DESTROYED my nails with the acrylic removal. He was extremely rushed and harsh with the drill and completely drilled off the top layer of my natural nails. For the past 6 weeks my nails have been breaking constantly. If I open a box, scratch an itch, whatever it may be, my nail breaks as soon as it grows out a little. It's been very irritating and I will have to wait until my entire nail grows out to do anything with tnem again. I went in to ask if they had a nail tech as good as the one who applied these still-perfect six week old nails. Andy didn't answer literally, but he asked if I had time right then to let him meet the challenge. Wow, he did every little thing you can do to make a nail perfect! The thickness, the sides, the shape, the undersides, my cuticles. They are perfectly beautiful. The quality of service has definitely gone downhill. At a previous visit, I had scabs all over my feet that took weeks to heal. At another visit the girl was so rough I literally yelped out loud. The most recent visit I had nail polish on the surrounding skin...it looked like a child painted my nails. In addition to the poor quality of service....the owners are overtly rude. A treatment that is supposed to make you feel great has turned into a very unpleasant experience. Final observation is that this place is no longer hygienic....it's actually quite disgusting. Came here for the first time for a pedicure and brow wax. I was looking for a new place to try and they had really good reviews. Many people spoke of the Jelly Pedicure so that's what I went with and I loved it. They pour a jelly powder in the water and it turns into a green aloe scented jello substance that moisturizes and soothes your feet. My nail tech Maria was excellent. She gave a great calf and foot massage and used hot stones as well. After the pedicure I had the brow wax done which was also great and very precise and then while my nails were drying I was also treated to a nice short back and neck massage... wonderful! When I was done they gave me some coupons to use on return visits and I took note that they had a wide variety of many other Spa Pedicures offered that I may try next time. Best of all this great pedi was only $25 and the brows a standard $10 plus their well deserved tips... I definitely plan to return... read more

After 3 years of coming here exclusively- even after I moved 25 minutes away- I'm done. Sad to say but it's not the same. 1- Andy carelessly was scraping my SKIN along with my nails when he was removing my old gel polish. Literally scraped them raw and didn't even care as he was doing it. 2- The cockroaches that scatter around aren't worth it when your nails break THE NEXT DAY. I got a gel manicure 4 days ago and they're already disgusting. Four nails have broken and the nail polish is coming off. I spent $80 here! I used to come for the massages but it's not worth it anymore. They need to clean it up- the back room is DISGUSTING literally looks like a halfway house back there and pay more attention to their craft. Found this place on yelp after countless disappoint at a local nail salon near my home. I made an apt with no problem for a Saturday afternoon. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My manicure was amazing and even included a wax dip with hand massage and shoulder massage. They even gave me a pair of pedicure socks and coupons for my next service. It was our (boyfriend and I) first time at Tres Jolie Spa and we absolutely loved it. I think they are handling the protocols for COVID safety very well too. They took our temperatures upon arrival and have each spa station enclosed and all staff wearing masks plus patrons too of course. We both got pedicures, the Tres Jolie SPA it cost $50 each which I thought was pretty reasonable considering all the spa treatment that comes along with it and lasted about 45-50 minutes not counting nail polish application. Our pedicure technicians were Randy and Wendy and they were great and gave fantastic pedicures. Also, the massage was awesome too! They both really were not playing games and made sure to go in on them massages and spa treatment. Personally, I care more for spa treatment then nail polish, so for me it was AMAZING but the nail polish application was very clean too! Thank you for taking care of our feeties! Went here because of good reviews. HORRIBLE acrylic nail service, he didn't even dip my nails enough to be an opaque color. I told him that one of the nails were put on crooked and he didn't listen. Absolutely horrible nail shape, they looked like blobs when I requested almond and showed reference pictures. I continually asked him to shape them better or fix them and he would barely file them. I've been going to Tres Jolie for about 6 months now and refuse to go anywhere else. Andy does an incredible gel manicure, paying very close attention to detail. At the end, he will dip your hands in warm wax that solidifies and peels off, leaving your skin baby soft. My gel manicures last 3-4 weeks in perfect condition (other than natural nail growth). I recently had Michelle for the Tres Jolie Spa Pedicure and holy crap was it relaxing. She gives a phenomenal, and quite long lasting, massage and it's nothing short of heavenly. It includes a jelly exfoliating scrub, lotion massage, and hot stones! My experience every month here is a welcoming, relaxing, and revitalizing break from my busy schedule and worth every penny! read more

I went here with my mom on Saturday afternoon, and the experience and service was impeccable. A lady - who my mother gathered was new - did my toes, and she was so thorough and attentive. Afterwards while I was about to get my nails done, she gave me a little massage. I didn't want her to leave! Then, Sue worked on my nails. It was the first time I did a gel manicure, and it was life-changing. Usually, my nails chip a few hours after I get them done, but it's Thursday, and they look like I just walked out of the salon (see pic from today)! Sue also gave me a quick back massage, and that was much appreciated. I also love their pedicure because of how it feels. I had an Appointment and had to have 3 people do my nails because they just overbooked. They were not detail oriented and were just trying to get done. They charge more for the manicure because they do paraffin , but when I asked ... they said they were too busy to do it. Well then they should charge less !. This is my favorite nail salon in NJ. They are so accommodating. Their gel manicures last longer than two weeks. Their pedicures are heaven! The price you pay for a gel mani and regular pedi is AWESOME!! Especially the treatment you get and like I mentioned above, the mani lasts so long. They also have great deals. You can sign up for a "points system" type of card and you get perks when you hit a certain amount of points. Plus it's very clean! Love it!!! read more

I had a tres Jolie spa pedicure and a gel manicure. Overall it was a good experience. Two different people completed my manicure as they were busy. Since there were other clients next to me getting a pedicure I ended up realizing that the girl doing my pedicure was rushing. I started much later than the other clients and we had caught up to them and she had finished the pedicure by the time they were done with theirs. I also noticed that the other ladies who were doing pedicures were massaging better. The girl doing mine was just kind of doing the same thing again and again. I decided to come to this nail salon after receiving a coupon in the mail offering discounts on many of their services. I was in desperate need of a pedicure and since this was close to my house, I decided to give it a try. I called before and to see if I could schedule an appointment on a Friday evening and they were more than happy to fit me in right away. The inside of the salon was very clean and the nail technicians were very professional. The color selection wasn't as big as I would have liked it to be. I was seated right away at one of the chairs for my pedicure. They call their regular pedicures "jelly pedicures" because they pour a bag of this green tea powder and it automatically congeals when it mixes with the water. It was a little bit surprising but I thought it was fun. Halfway through the pedicure one of the nail technicians comes up to me and says that they are doing a promotion in which you could get a regular mani and pedi for $30. I decided to go for the manicure as well after my pedicure. The pedicure was alright, nothing out of the ordinary from any other pedicure I've gotten at other places aside from the jelly part of it. The manicure was what really made the difference. I always pick around and under my nails as a bad habit so manicures always end up cracking by the 2nd or 3rd day. But my manicure has not chipped at all so far and I've had the manicure for almost a week now. After the manicure, the nail technician gave me another coupon. I decided to cheat on my regular salon and try this one today and I was not disappointed. I was a walk in and they fit me in right away. The only part that was a little confusing was that they had an array of options to pick from for pedicures. I chose the honey spa and was a little weirded out when they put honey straight from the bottle on my feet, but decided to stick it out and it was worth it. The main reason, I will be never going back and recommending it to any friend - the lady who did my manicure was somehow not happy with the tip I gave her...so she started talking with her fellow employee in her language making faces. SUPER RUDE & OFFENSIVE. I asked what's the problem? And she said we expect 20% tip atleast....but the way she went about it was so inappropriate, as if I'm not paying her the service fee. Just tried for the first time. Husband and I had both mani & peddies. My experience was a five star. They gave me a free eye brow waxing. My husband left with durt still under his nails. He went because he had a job interview. His cuticles looked good. He said no clear polish but they didn't buff the nails like he has gotten at other salons. I've been going to Tres Jolie for a couple years now and always get my nails done by Jenny and pedicure by Michelle. Well yesterday was the last time that Jenny will ever do my nails. Though I love the way she does them she will never get my business again because of her shitty unprofessional attitude. You never know what Jenny you'll get. Her mood is very unpredictable and I don't have the time or patience for it. I've dealt with her nasty attitude before and let it go but yesterday was the last of that. During the week I called to confirm my appt with Jenny on Friday and Michelle on Sunday because i had a feeling it was screwed up - well good thing I did because it was screwed up!!!! While getting my nails done yesterday I asked Michelle to confirm the time for my appt with her because I forgot. Jenny bounced up out of her chair, went over to the appt book came back told me the time then asked me if I wanted to schedule it in my phone because I've already asked about it - ALL DONE WITH A NASTY ATTITUDE!!! She's lucky there were clients in the salon and that my mother raised a lady because I was about to give her a piece of my mind. I simply replied "I don't miss my appts but good thing I originally asked because my appt was scheduled for the wrong day at no fault of mine". I've been nothing but good to this woman - as far as tipping, keeping my appts, on time, not on my phone while she's doing my nails, etc. but I refuse to be treated like shit.
