The manager, Michael, allayed my apprehension, assuring me that since the transmission had to be pulled anyway, that everything would be inspected and repaired or replaced. They replaced two seals and had it running like NEW in one day. They could have replaced EVERY part in it and I really would have expected that. They are honest, almost to a fault, I'll NEVER take a transmission anywhere else. THERE ARE NO REBUILT TRANSMISSIONS AVAILABLE FOR A 1997 GEO PRIZM and I'm certain that Michael was aware of that little complication, yet he charged me a hundred dollars less than what he had quoted me. This ALONE should speak volumes about this company. If you're a veteran, be sure you tell Michael that up front.

He went and got the fluid i needed and put it in for me. The heat still wasn't working but he said it probably needed to be driven and sure enough the heat started working with in not even five minutes. He was worried about a leak so he wanted me to keep him updated on the issue. I highly recommend!

I took my car to RT Clapp for an oil change and diagnostic checks. They sent me a list of things…read morethat needed to be service; brake flush; engine filter change; and transmission flush. I chose the break flush. when I came to pick up my car the manger told me that they could not get the key to go into the ignition switch. I told him that I never had that problem before. I could not start my car. I was very upset and the manger had the nerve to tell me that it was like that when I brought the car in, which was not true. If that was the case then how come it was not on the service list? He told me that he could try to fix it but that I would have to pay for the parts. Three days later still not fixed. I had to have my car tow to the dealership. On of top that I had black stuff on my tan carpet where the mechanic was trying to fix the ignition switch. Plus, there was a fresh large scratch on the passenger side of my car and he tells me that it was already there before I brought the car in, which was not true. This is the worst experience that I have ever had with a car shop. You drive your car in and have tow it out.

I told Marty that I heard everything he said about me and about other customers and that I had been recording it all. He immediately hung up the phone that let me record it all, so I recorded him there in front of me. He got so mad that he said they aren't fixing my vehicle and to take it back immediately, I was fine with that and said I'm not paying anything. On my recording he said that I was not paying anything and to just take it back and leave. He was so mad that I had recorded him talking so negatively about customers, teaching another employee to pad the bills and add charges without customer consent, that he wanted me gone. I have the recordings and I'm turning them over to his corporate office. I called his manager Patrick, who was at another location and informed him and to about Marty and the recordings. This service shop is deceptive and they are scammers and should be shut down.
