I made a quick stop here for lunch during my road trip. I tried the fish, carne asada, and adobada tacos, and the fried fish taco was definitely the best of the three. The sauces were just okay. Just a heads up, there's no restroom here. I also tipped, but the service was pretty minimal.. they didn't even bring the food out to us. What a great local find!! Tres Reyes is easy to get to from the 97 Fwy and has great food at reasonable prices. Everyone in our party loved all our food, but we particularly enjoyed the fish tacos. The seating is outdoors on benches that are mostly in the sun, but that's what we expected and the street was quiet so it was fine. I look forward to returning whenever we pass through Klamath Falls!! read more

Looking for food on Labor Day in Klamath Falls was extremely difficult. Basically nothing was open on Main St except for donut/burger shop and waffle house (30 minute wait aka not worth it). Soooo turning to the trusty Yelp app, we found Tres Reyes Taco Shop. I was wary since we had an extremely mediocre, if not lackluster meal when we stopped by previously. However, upon arriving at the place, and seeing prices... whens the last time someone from the Bay Area has seen a $6 regular burrito, and $7 supreme Also when is the supreme ever labeled as just "bigger" than regular since we usually have to pay for the extra avocado, sour cream, etc. $3 for a taco, and $2.50 for tostadas, say whaaat. Easy and quick meal with great food, would recommend outside of all the other restaurants located on Main St. One weird thing was that we got salt packets with all of our meals but our meals were definitely tasty and didn't need any additional salt...maybe Klamath Falls folks like things extra salty? read more

We come from a town with a strong Mexican food game and this place still impressed with this shack on the West side of Klamath Falls. Recommended by a Klamath tribal member, their tacos are street style and only $2.50 ea. Also of note are their rice and beans, which are tasty without being too slimy (like beans can get) or dry (like rice can get). The staff is great, the service quick, and the food delicious. We will visit every trip to K Falls. read more

After more than two decades of driving THROUGH Klamath Falls we decided to venture out and find something better than the typical roadside fare along US-97 and stopped by for lunch at Tres Reyes. We are so glad that we did. My wife had 3 Adovada tacos and I had 3 fish tacos. Sorry, we don't have any pictures because they were so tasty! Each taco was served on 2 small street taco corn tortillas. The adovada tacos are stewed pork and we're melt in your mouth tender and delicious. The fish tacos were generous portions of battered and deep fried filets. They were also equally delicious. Show them some love and stop by this little road side taco stand. I ordered the burrito with adovada pork and it was solid but not amazing -- great meat, standard fillings -- and I wished I had ordered what the others in my party were raving about -- tacos! Stopped for lunch on our way to Crater Lake. Tacos are $2 and burritos are $6/7 (depending on size). I thought the tacos were better than the burrito. I got a super burrito (which was $1 off on Saturday's) and it was still quite small. The tacos were great - street style with double layer small tortillas, meat, cilantro and onion. I got the fish, carnitas and asada. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll go back. And as an FYI they accept credit cards! read more

Fish and meat were both tasty and seasoned well, with a good proportion of fresh ingredients, which is what's most important to me when eating a taco. They were careful when i said i have a gluten intolerance, even when i wasn't expecting extra service. Sometimes I make the concession to eat out even though I may get sick. They were kind and served me gluten free sopes and used foil on the grill to make sure there wasn't cross contamination with the flour tortillas. One thing though is I asked if the cabeza meat was barbacoa (cheek) and was told it was. Sometimes cabeza is a mixture of all parts of the head, some more unappetizing than others. I do not believe the cabeza was barbacoa and would just like to warn people before hand. The prices are good, people are friendly, and the food tasted great. Stopped here for quick meal on drive from Sacramento to Bend. Easy and quick off the freeway. Food was made fresh and fast and service was friendly. I got a regular carnitas burrito and thought it was sooo good. Compared to most burritos, it was on the small side but only $6 and perfect size for eating in car (no mess while driving!). They have both Coca-Cola and Pepsi products by the can. Gas station right across the street if you also need to get gas. Will definitely stop here again while driving through Klamath Falls. read more

Outstanding. My boyfriend said the fish tacos were the best he'd ever had. I had the carne asada and was also very pleased--we both went back for a second order. Rice and beans were fresh and good; nothing we ordered seemed like it had been sitting for any length of time. Nice people. Mainly takeout but a couple outside tables. This spot was a wonderful find on our drive. They have a drive thru and shaded picnic tables if you want to sit outside. The burritos and sopes were great. Highly recommend the adovada and carnitas. read more

The staff are always so friendly! The prices are good, and the food is even better. It's always my go to place when I'm craving tacos.

Really tasty meats of good quality, which can be hit or miss at taco stands. Their tortillas are the store bought stuff, which makes a huge difference in taste quality, in my opinion. Not terribly convenient off the freeway, if you're like us and passing by, but lots of parking, outdoor seating, great service. Not a rapid stop, but a good option. No salsa offered, which surprised me. Perhaps I missed a salsa selection available somewhere? If we're going by this direction again on the next road trip, we'll stop by again. read more

So, we've been here 4 months and live down the street. Driven by many times but never stopped. When we feel like Mexican food we usually go to a place down on 6th street. And we have no complaints. Finally decided to try here today. And it was really good. It's small but the wait isn't too long. Not a huge menu, which I think is great. Like In-N-Out, do a few things and do them good. It was nice to have some non main-stream Mexican food. Authentic as far as we feel. Coming from SoCal and having been to Mexico a few times, it's real home cooking, not commercialized chain food. Simple and fresh. Had the carne asada, carnitas, and fish tacos. Delicious. Hot sauce "salsa" was a little bland but not bad. Maybe should also work up a hot verde "tomatillo" salsa.
