In February/ March of 2018 my husband book a hair and nail appointment at my favorite salon and stylist. My hair appointment wound up getting rescheduled to June. When I was getting my hair done I requested low lights (black) and highlights (blonde) and the color bleed together and I walked out of the salon grey trying not to cry until I got into my car, because I didn't want to make Stacey (my stylist at the time/ and owner) feel bad. I had to wait a week or two (can't remember) before I could get back in and I was mortified I had to go to work in a professional setting and conducting meeting with doctors with grey hair, and expecting them to take me seriously. I was 32 at the time and couldn't pull off the 60 year old silver fox, nor was I trying to. In June/ July of 2020 once the salons opened I couldn't get an appointment. I understood they were over booked and everyone wanted in but I was willing to wait, but no appointment date was offered, and I had to go somewhere else. Fast forward to this past month I made an appointment nearly 4 weeks in advanced for 1/22/21. I confirmed my appointment via text several times and then got cancelled on the day before (after requesting off from work). I was told only the afternoon clients were getting cancelled on, and I wanted to see if I could move my appointment up to the morning. The morning receptionist said she would see if it's possible and call me back. Hours went by and I never got a call back. When I called I was told the receptionist I spoke with went home for the day. The afternoon receptionist I was speaking with told me an earlier day appointment wouldn't be possible. I was asking for the next available appointment day or how soon I could get in, and she told me that Stacie was booked out over a month in advanced and it was so far out she wouldn't even give me a possible day to reschedule to after I had already waited 4 weeks. I was a customer for over 8-10 years and followed her from her old salon. I told the receptionist I wasn't going to come back, and I get they probably don't care, but I'm the third person that I know who has stopped going after years of being a loyal customer. I wasn't a "Karen," I was flexible, bought the recommended products, never complained, even offered to pay when she corrected my hair color, and always tipped well. After being treated poorly for the third time I left a poor review similar to this one on their Facebook page, so maybe the owner could rectify or address or even become aware of the situation. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt (maybe the owner didn't know the receptionist forgot to call me back). But to my surprise the owner publicly lied and told me that they did call me back. When I told her all I got was a cancellation text message and I called back twice all she had to say was that their customers where their top priority for their successful business and they did call me back ASAP. When I told her that her staff isn't being honest if they told her that she said she was sorry I'm unhappy. I asked her that I was just sharing my experiences and what if this had happened to a bride the day before her wedding? Instead of apologizing, or taking any accountability, or admitting this could have been handled better she said; thank you for the feedback, and have a great day. The owner might as well have publicly told me to go eff myself . (This was the cliff notes version) This is the most unprofessional place I have ever encountered. You're better off saving your time and money and walking into fantastic sams or great clips and will probably revive better treatment. If you don't mind waiting 4 weeks and possibly getting cancelled on by text or possibly not being to reschedule with no sincere apology for some blonde bleach highlights then go ahead and schedule an appointment by all means because apparently Stacie is a one trick pony and that's all she knows how to do. Overall I'm disappointed with the service and lack of concern of loyal customers. read more

Amazing service! Everyone was extremely friendly, genuine, and provided the best hair cut experience I can remember in the last few years. I'm always nervous getting my haircut, because I'm very particular about how it's styled. Taylor, did an outstanding job on it. I have a big interview coming up, and I told her if I get an offer it will most likely be because of my fresh new look. FYI- If I could pick no star I would have! Make sure you do not get the YUKO done on highlighted hair!. I paid $500 on my hair to become smooth, silky and straight and IT DID NOT WORK. It only straightened my black hair and not my blond. I had it redone again and it didn't work once again. After my 3rd opinion on my hair, I was told that my hair was not done correctly and does not look how it should. I asked for my money back, not the full amount of $500 I asked for $350 and SHE GAVE ME $100 back. Make sure you look into what you are getting done. If your considering getting your hair done by YUKO make sure your hair is not bleached. My hair dresser should have known ahead of time that this does not work on bleach hair. Pretty salon with my favorite Nayo organic color. My stylist was Erin. She is full of energy and will be honest with what will look best on your hair. She will not perform any service that would compromise the integrity of your hair. Although it took 2 appointments, through trial and error she was able to give me the look I wanted by highlighting with color, not bleach. Trust her, you will not be disappointed, and if you are she will happily make it right. Thanks again for making my hair look great! read more

Followed my hairdresser, Kim, to Salon Tress and glad I did! I would not give her up for anything. I have been with her for about 25 years!! That must say something! The Salon is airy and roomy with a very courteous staff. They have a rack of fashion items that I enjoy browsing through if I have to wait which is rare. The only thing I do not like is that there is a fee if you use your charge card, something I have never experience, and since I no longer carry a check book around, this is an inconvenience. I just found out that they have the Nayo line of hair color and I am so excited to try it. I eat organic as much as I can and have always worried about what gets into my system via hair color. read more
