While I was there, a client came in openly talking about being in rehab and proceeded to be beyond demanding, rude, and completely unrealistic from the moment she sat down. Her hair was severely knotted, and the stylist spent over an hour carefully brushing it out--something many salons wouldn't even attempt. After that, the stylist beautifully matched her natural hair color to extensions, which objectively looked seamless and well done. Despite this, the client continuously complained, insisting the color was "wrong" and demanding it be made lighter. The stylist calmly and professionally explained that going lighter would seriously damage her already fragile hair. That advice was clearly given with the client's best interest in mind--not convenience or profit. As the extension service was nearly finished (and looked great), the client escalated--complaining loudly, creating a scene, and making it clear she was trying to avoid paying for the service altogether. Her behavior became so disruptive that the stylist, rightfully, refused to continue, and management had to ask her to leave. What stood out most was how gracefully and respectfully the entire team handled the situation. No arguing, no embarrassment tactics--just calm boundaries and professionalism. It's refreshing to see a salon that protects both its staff and its standards. Hair professionals are artists and service providers--not punching bags. This salon deserves full credit for standing by their team and maintaining class under pressure. I would trust them again in a heartbeat.

She referenced the salon's website, explained that I could wash or swim immediately afterward, and said I would likely only need the treatment again after 6-12 months(once I had new growth). The service was about $375, and I left an $80 tip ($455 total). After the treatment, my hair looked straighter, but I waited about 65 hours before washing it to be extra careful. After my first wash, my hair returned almost completely to its original texture . It is still wavy and puffy instead of sleek and straight. I have had permanent straightening treatments at two other salons, and both times my hair stayed straight for about a year, with only the new growth returning to my natural texture. That is the result I expected based on my past experiences and what was explained to me. When I contacted the salon, I was told there were no refunds and my only option was to redo the treatment. I no longer felt comfortable doing that because the treatment did not deliver the results I was led to expect. First two photos show what the salon advertised. Last 3 photos are of my experience.

I…read morepaid $632.50 and have worn extensions for over four years, so I was very surprised by both the price and the experience. The approximately two-hour appointment was extremely unprofessional. Jeri took multiple personal phone calls, several on speakerphone, including arguments with a car dealership and other people. I also had to listen to lengthy personal conversations and discussions about other salon employees and family issues throughout the appointment. I was initially told the service would be around $350, but additional charges were added at checkout, bringing the total to $632.50. I was told approximately $350 was for the tape/adhesive. Jeri also added a black adhesive/glue and told me it would "make it last longer," and recommended that I return in three months. Less than two weeks later, multiple extensions were coming loose. Several were placed extremely close to my scalp and became painful, so I ultimately had to remove them myself. The removal took approximately two hours. I spent over an hour trying to remove the tape/black adhesive from the extension hair and another hour removing the extensions. The black adhesive was throughout the strands rather than confined to the attachment area. Some pieces were damaged during removal, including one that split apart, and I had to discard some of the hair. I also had scabs on the back of my scalp where the extensions had been placed. The extensions themselves were worth approximately $800, making this especially upsetting. I had these extensions installed specifically for an upcoming vacation. Instead of having my hair ready, I had to remove the entire installation and spend hours trying to salvage my extensions just days before my trip. I contacted the salon and requested a partial refund. Danielle was kind and made an effort to address my concerns, which I appreciate. I requested a $315 refund but ultimately received $275, with no explanation for the $40 difference. I was also offered a complimentary highlight for a future visit, but after this experience I will not be returning to the salon or booking another service with Jeri. Before my appointment, I had tried to find Jeri on the salon's website but could not, which was concerning in hindsight. This was by far my worst extension experience I have ever had. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this salon or Jeri Mermini for extension services.
