On 11.21.24 I entered Treviso for intensive physical therapy after a total knee replacement. This was the best decision I could have made. The nursing staff is wonderful. The physical therapy department is top notch. They care about the patients. We even were part of the Christmas parade in Longview. They constantly encourage and participate in individual recovery. As much help as I needed in the beginning, I never felt as though I was a bother. I plan on continuing to get better and eventually go back as a volunteer. I hope not to need more physical therapy in the future, but if I do, I know where I'll go. Susan Anderson read more

We put my 89 yr. old father in the inpatient rehab wing for physical therapy. We chose Treviso after touring the facility and talking to Abe, who was extremely helpful at that initial meeting. The facility was lovely and had no odor and had a great PT room. Staff was about what you'd expect; some shifts were great and some were not great. He was there 3 weeks when he had a fall. They took him to the ER, where he was checked out and released. Upon returning to Treviso, he was there for a matter of hours when he fell again. This time they called an ambulance, due to the seriousness of the head injury. He went back to the ER and this time was admitted. He was there a couple of days before he passed away in the hospital. My mom and I went back to Treviso that same day and removed his belongings from his room. We received absolutely no contact from Treviso at all. No condolence call, no sympathy card, no email, nothing. Granted, they probably thought we might sue them and they were not saying a word. We were not interested in suing, although you would think they would have kept a close eye on someone who had just returned from the ER due to a fall. I even sent an email to Abe saying it was disappointing to not hear anything from them after my dad's passing. (The hospital had told us that Treviso had been checking in on my dad while he was there, but after he died there was radio silence). But nothing but crickets. So my experience was that they will initially come across as very caring, but that is not the case. I don't blame staff for this; like I said, some were great (we had our favorites) and some were not. But this lack of compassion and humanity falls on Abe and Terry and it just added another level of hurt to a grieving situation. A simple act of respect to a grieving widow was not a lot to expect. And it has definitely had an impact on our experience there. read more

This facility is very clean and the staff are amazing with taking care of the residents. They are compassionate and caring and provide realistic expectations to families. The nursing staff, including the nurse practitioner, Amber Lowery and Dr. Witt, the Medical Director are all very passionate about the care they provide. The therapy team is phenomenal in maintain and improving residents functioning. Treviso is a team that truly cares for their residents. Definitely recommend! read more

My 81 year old wife was in this facility 02/07/2022 until 02/18/2022. On arrival a blood sample was taken. She was transferred from a local hospital where she had been treated for low Potassium and high blood pressure. A second blood sample was never taken until 02/18/2022 (the day she departed). On her first night her roommate had her television on all night with the volume turned up. We complained to a nurse about the roommates television and the nurse said they could do nothing about it. Her second day she tested positive for Covid. The person testing for Covid swabbed her nostrils and then waved the swab around while she chatted with us. Of course it showed positive. The same person did a second test and it turned out positive. My wife was moved to the Covid wing of the facility. Same thing with a different roommate and the television. The Staff on the Covid wing was a little more professional than on the recovery side. My wife stayed 10 days in the Covid wing. She had no symptoms of Covid. The day she was scheduled to be moved to the non Covid wing a nurse we had never seen before gave her 4 potassium or magnesium pills and told us her potassium was 3 ? Never saw her again. Keep in mind no blood sample had been taken for 11 days. My wife was moved to the non Covid side. Two beds to a small room. The beds were 18 inches apart with a thin curtain between the beds. The first night Television on and loud all night. Second night television on all night without sound. Third night her roommate was lost somewhere in facility. When they found her roommate she had fallen and was in a wheelchair. The aids roughly moved her from the wheelchair to her bed. The poor woman was in pain all night moaning and yelling for her family. We decided that was enough and told the staff we were leaving. They told us since it was Friday, it would take them until next week before the paperwork could be completed. We told them we were leaving that day and did. They did arrange for home care. The facility is filthy. Looks good on the outside and the little area they allow you to tour. However the rest of the facility is dirty. Bits of paper and trash on the floor. In the 10 days she spent on the Covid side her room was cleaned once on the day before she was moved. On the recovery side everything was filthy. Staff was loud and laughing very loud in the hall all day and night. Staff was unresponsive to the call button. Again the hallways were trashy. There was dirt wedged on the floor where the room floor meets the hallway. Three rooms down was the kitchen and tree leaves on the floor that was never swept up. All the furniture was old and well worn. The bedside table chrome stand was rusting and sticky. The beds were old and more like gurneys then beds. The bed caused my wife to have backache which cleared up after she came home. Now for the food. My wife received the same garbage three days in a row. It was some mystery meat that had been minced, mashed potatoes and green beans. The speech therapist forgot to change her menu to not Mince everything. The food was terrible. I don't know how anyone could eat that cr*p. It never improved. The supervision should be forced to eat it at least twice a week. They wouldn't stand for it. Jason Baker has been such an inspiration!!! He loves each patient as if they were his own!! My mom has had a stroke and can't talk but is totally aware of what is going on and can feed herself. But a lot of times she has a rough day and I can call him and he goes running to her aid and gets her going on the right path! He understands her and knows exactly what she needs or is wanting before anyone else can figure it out!! He TRULY loves what he does!! Having him there is a peace that your loved one will be taken care of! It breaks my heart to know what would happen without him there to be the sounding block for the family as well as the patient! I firmly believe he doesn't just do his job he wears a hat of Many Colors!!! When my mom has an appointment I can always rely on him to have her up bathed and ready to go! If I get there and things aren't going right I can always depend on HIM to get the right people involved to get things going!!!He has made such an impact on my mom that she relies on him to make things alright and I truly believe she thinks of him as her son!! Employees like this IS VERY HARD to come by and they truly need to be cherished!! If he ever leaves there is going to be a HUGE HOLE that I'm pretty sure can't be filled!!! And a lot of Sad, sometimes Upset FAMILY and PATIENTS because like I said he truly wears a Hat of Many Colors!! He goes beyond his job description and as an employee he's one that truly loves his patients and his job!! When my mom doesn't take her medicine I call him immediately or ask the nurse have they found Jason and she takes them!!! That's worth its weight in gold!!! Her medicine is very important!!! You don't see this very often especially in a nursing home! Employees like this makes your Facility stand out from others and these employees are the reason a lot of patients stay!!!! read more
