I had Dr. Dale, who was so impatient! After the initial shaping there was a large chunk of fake tooth scratching me on the back that he couldn't see, and after I had to have him try to file it off 5+ times to no avail he declared "I'd hate to move your furniture!" And by the end, he had totally misshapen the tooth so it doesn't look at all like my other one, is crooked, has an uneven line, and is sharp on one edge where it touches my tongue. But because it was already crooked and too small compared to my other, and he wouldn't stop commenting on how picky I was, I just stopped asking him to fix it. I hoped he was right and I was just being picky but I don't even want to smile any more that's how much it bothers me still. He would never include this tooth in a portfolio of his best work, and that speaks volumes to the kind of dentist that he is. Shouldn't you want your patients to be impressed instead of depressed with your work? Especially a front tooth! Two stars because their office themselves were very accommodating and nice, somehow when I called to schedule they had scheduled me at a different office? But when I showed up at the office I had called, they were able to squeeze me in despite "not having" an appointment.

The next is when you gps to their location it will say they are closed which makes you nervous that they are closed. Their website online will also say they are closed as well. So when you drive there you are wondering if you are gonna end up at a closed dentists. they are closed Fridays so if you have a Saturday appointment and need to reschedule you must do it 2 days in advance. Cross your fingers nothing comes up Friday. When I was getting my teeth cleaned the process was un organized. They would say they needed to get the x ray machine then 10 mins later a new person shows up with no xray. They kept leaving me hanging. The whole thing just seems messy.

The ladies at the front desk are always very friendly and helpful as well, and I was able to speak for a minute with the dentist himself and he has lots of experience and is very professional with his patients. It has a very safe and comfortable atmosphere here at Riverton heights dental. I will continue to recommend this dentist office to anyone who is interested. I had some major dental problems due to genetic mouth deformaties and he really worked with me to get me the best smile possible! He is such a perfectionist that he kept working with me until I was absolutely happy with my smile! Now I love my smile and it is perfect! He also has fabulous receptionists who are always so nice and easy to work with. I have never waited more than 5 minutes for an appointment, but at the same time I never feel rushed and always feel valued and get my needs met. His dental assistants are great and really know their stuff! I have been going to him for years and have had nothing but positive experieces each time, with is saying something for a dentist! Dr. McIff is super personable and friendly, just treating you like a friend from the very beginning. His front desk gal, Stacey, is just a great help with everything, regarding insurance and is pretty knowledgeable! My whole family comes here, and we are just so pleased with his work and the way he makes "visiting the dentist" fun for the little ones. The 6 month cleaning visit is pretty good too, having the hygienist super gentle cleaning my teeth and gums. Recently, I have had to get a crown replaced - and I was a bit hesitant, since I've had my crown for 15+ years and Dr. McIff was super precise, accurate, and just molded my new crown perfectly, having it fit like a glove where the old one was - I couldn't be more pleased with his work and overall customer service and satisfaction!

They will tell you that they are contracted by your insurance company they give you a dentist that isn't covered so you have to pay their exorbitant rates. The quality of their work isn't up to the standards by even an average dentist. They do not work with your insurance to get your repairs covered.
