I had just about thrown in the towel when I asked and got a tip from a girl that lives in the area and works at Jo Jo's (a great local store). She spoke highly of them because her dad gets all his service there. I trailered my boat and drove it over to Lane's End. I was greeted by the service manager (think his name was Tim?) who was so much more professional than people at other marina's I had been dealing with. He looked things over quick and you could just tell that he really knew what he was talking about. He gave me some prices up front and told me how long he thought it would take. I had my boat back in the water in just 2 days (and that was only because they had to get a part for it). And they were 100% fair on cost. It is rare anymore that a business will find you in a desperate situation and not try to take advantage of you............Can't say enough about how great they were. I will recommend this place to everyone.

After I had the mechanical work done, I called Wally up, again, to get my boat detailed. Inexpensive again, but not cheap! The work was excellent. The outside of the boat looked as good as when I purchased the boat used a few years back. The white was WHITE and the blue was BLUE again... all buffed and gorgeous! It is run by a very sweet, kind, friendly yet professional and accommodating young family. Jessica and Bob are wonderful as is their office person, Ginny. They are always happy to help in any way they can. Nothing ever seems to be a bother to any of them and they treat everyone with the same friendly smile and respect. We purchased our beautiful new pontoon, last year, from Melvin Village - who, BTW, made the entire process non-complex - they were simply FABULOUS! Torn between renting a mooring or going "valet"was our most difficult decision but when meeting those at Ambrose Cove - it couldn't have been easier and we could not be any happier. We have needed some boat service. It was all done timely and has always been top notch. The valet service is simple and convenient. I LOVE IT!!!! We also store our boat here in the winter and after our first winter - well, we will have many more coming! Whenever we show up at the marina it's like showing up at a family member's home (you know - family that you WANT to visit LOL). They are always so upbeat, friendly and naturally make us feel so welcome. They detailed the boat, gave us bumpers, life vests, and 4 lines so we could tie the boat off. I felt we paid a reasonable amount, I was happy, and took delivery Labor Day weekend. They winterized it, stored it, and got it ready for a June pick-up. I'm now dealing with the service department, and I feel they are bending over backwards to accommodate us. They were responsive to emails and phone calls regarding the problem. When the problem persisted this weekend, Kevin came out and replaced our starter while the boat was still on the water - not an easy task for sure! Get Ready, Get Set, Get Elevated!…read more Bottom Line Up Front: This is our second year using Elevated Wake and once again,e had a wonderful, enjoyable, vigorous and "elevated" time for a good price. For four hours, pre-teens to "teens in thier fifties" did it all; water skiing, swimming, wake surfing and "hyper-tubing." The Good: One word -- Captain Pat! Ok that is two words, but one name never to forget. Captain Pat was an experienced boat Captain and water sports instructor (has been doing this for 30 years) and knows in the Lake well. He got us underway on time, was prepared, and was a delightful host, instructor and DJ. We had three new water-skiers ages ranging from pre-teen to "salty" adult that Pat successfully got up on skis within a few tries. We had one new wake surfer that he had up within two tries. Pat was patient, experienced, and very insightful; he knew what to say and how to say it to each participant, literally and figuratively, and even-keeled. As far as tubing goes, with a few hand signals, the tubers are in control, and the speeds range from slow and steady, fast and furious, to ludicrous speed. Fun was had by all in our group. Four hours on the water was the sweet spot for our group of nine. We started on time and finished promptly on time. Captain Pat picked us up and dropped us off at our location on the lake. His company also provides services other lakes in the area, and offer boat rentals. The Bad: There was nothing bad! From start to finish, we had a wonderful time -- Pat was a great captain and host. He let us choose the music for each participant and he entertained all our questions. The Ugly: Other than my slalom ski attempts, there was nothing ugly! I highly recommend Captain Pat and Elevated Wake Company! If you find yourself in Lake Winnipesaukee, this is definitely an enjoyable way to spend a few hours. They say a picture is worth 1000 words, so I am going to end my post with a few that we snapped along the way. May you have fair winds, and Elevated Wake waters!
