These guys helped me out big time! I was in the Freeport area on vacation and had trouble with my starter. I was worried about getting price-gouged since I was obviously from out of town as I started researching who to go with. These guys already had an excellent rating, especially compared to dealer mechanic shops in the area. Even though they were backed up more than a week, they worked me in on very short notice and got my vehicle back to me within a day. During the bid, the sales rep Bart talked me through several pricing options with various parts they could get in town or by ordering from dealers, and they got right on it once we sorted that out. Part Pricing was comparable to what I checked for at the nearby OReillys. The service was excellent, staff was very friendly, and they were interested in helping me out and getting me back on the road! I even offered to pay a rush fee, and they wouldn't take it. I own a 2008 Ford Crown Vic that had a problem with the whole intake. I got several quotes from dealerships and other mechanic shops to do the work and the prices were outrageous!!! I was recommended to Tri-City by my boss who takes our company vehicles to this place......Tri-City did an awesome job on my vehicle and I only paid half of what it would have cost me at the dealership and best of all they guarantee their work. This is one of the most recommended local mechanic shops in the area. It's been in open for a very long time so you know they are doing things right. Very friendly, professional staff that keep a very well maintained clean shop. It is very busy which is a good thing because it lets you know that many people are trusting their vehicles to be serviced the right way. I have been taking my vehicles here for years and will not go anywhere else even if I have to wait a few days to take it in due to them being booked up. I definitely recommend this repair shop. Drove into Lake Jackson Thursday night before Memorial Day. Alternator went out about 30 minutes from town. Made it in on a new battery and prayer. Found Tri City on Yelp on Friday. Owner was swamped, but when he heard my tale of woe, he had my car fixed by 1pm that afternoon. He used an alternator from O'Reilly's so the warranty would be usable back home. And he did this for the low end of the price range my back home mechanic quoted. Tri-City cares about it's customer and community. While on a test drive of a customers vehicle, Jamie an employee of Tri-City saw a man lying face down on the curb on Redbud street. Jamie stopped and help the man receive help via ambulance and stayed with the man until they came. The injured man stated numerous people had driven by and no one stopped until Jamie. I took my newly used Ford F150 5.4. 4x4 truck to them with a few issues (tick in the motor, upper controls arms had to be replaced, ball joints, break pads and rotors and a tune up). My main concern was the tick in the engine, I'm thinking at some time I'm probaby going to have to get it fixed or replaced. To my excitement it was a loose spark plug. A LOOSE SPARK PLUG!
