JP Andrews Leo Martin Chevrolet service department is managed by incompetent individuals. In regards to GM's complimentary service for the C8 corvette (DCT filter), the service department, to include its manager, should know GM's terms and policies for that service. For my 2023 corvette, I have 7400 miles, and the DCT filter (change) is due at 7500 miles. I took my corvette to Leo Martin Chevrolet service department 4/16/2025 for an oil change. During that visit, I ask the service advisor, Evan Skavatsos, about changing the DCT filter. He didn't know if the service could be performed at the time, thus asked another person. That person (female), instructed him that the service could not be performed, because the corvette didn't have 7500 miles, and GM would not pay for it. I contacted Evan Skavatsos, today, 2/5/2026, to make an appointment for the complimentary (DCT filter) change. Needless to say, he spoke to his superior and was told that the service was no longer complimentary, because the corvette was older than 2 years of its in-service-date. Back on 4/16/2025, when the corvette was under 2 years of its in-service-date, there was no mention of the 2 years, just 7500 miles. If the experts would have mentioned the 2 years AND 7500 miles, I would have driven 2000 plus miles, over the next two months, to meet the requirements for the complimentary service. Disappointedly, Evan Skavatsos had the nerve to get contentious when I called his hand for not knowing his job. As previously stated, Leo Martin Chevrolet service department, advisors and manager have no clue about GM's terms and policies for the C8 corvette services. Hence, I will never take my corvette to Leo Martin Chevrolet again! read more

Their service department is terrible! Took my truck for a repair, they repaired and broke something else causing it to leak oil. Took it back and their tech said it was the dipstick tube. Repaired and leaked again even more. Took it back and the service was terrible after it is their mistake and damage. It sat in the parking lot for days with no update till I went in. Now all of sudden it's this other part and another one that i have to pay out of my pocket. Had a trip out of town that I can't go because parts are ordered. Could of been here if they did it right the first time. Communication was terrible and I had to chase them down for answers. I am going to make sure people know to stay away. It started by them charging us for diagnostics even though our warranty pays for this then they said the dash had to come out to repair it. Then said it could cost us over $6000 dollars but that would not be paid by our warranty. We took it to another dealership (Local)and they fixed it for under $100 dollars and the dash did not need to be touch. This is not the first time that Leo Martin Chevrolet ripped us off. Bought a truck on December 14 2021. Talked with sales and service about front lights not working correctly and was told to bring back after the holidays. When I contacted Keith in early January he told me I had to take it to the dealer and there's nothing they can do. It has now been at the dealership for a few days as the AC stopped working as well. I would steer clear of this dealership, spend your money with someone that makes good on what they say they will do and does a Thorough job checking the product they sell. read more

Was recently in looking at buying a new vehicle. Sales person was great, finance department was not. They ran my credit off of paperwork from a previous visit that I never agreed to. Have been trying to find a solution for several days to this issue and talked to the service manager today. He acted like he was preforming a miracle for my by filing the paperwork he is legally suppose to to get it off my credit. Leo Martin Used car nightmare experience! Found a vehicle online at this dealership which was 3.5 hours away and was assured there wasn't any hidden surprises with it. Long story short, there were multiple costly surprises. For starters, they charge a $900ish dollar "reconditioning fee" on their used vehicles to make sure they are safe for their customers. HA. After arriving we overlooked the vehicle which looked cosmetically good and took it on their test drive around the block, we signed and drove it home. The next morning when I went to start it, it had a bad rattle from the engine. I made an appointment at my local Ford to have it all overlooked and found some major issues Leo Martin should have found during their Pre Delivery Inspection. The rattle is a shot cam phaser that only makes the noise after a cold start, explaining why I didn't hear it when we went to get the car since it had been driven and moved. The tech found a wheel bearing that was in terrible shape and was not safe to be on the road, but Leo Martin had no problem sending my family down the road with it. The rotors were also in bad shape and in need or resurfacing or replacement. I called my contact at the dealership and told them of my findings and was told "that's what extended warranties are for". If you plan to buy a used vehicle from here, don't. If you do, bring your own mechanic and get that vehicle up on a lift to find the issues they won't tell you about but still charge a $900 reconditioning fee. Happy car shopping!! read more

Leo Martin Chevrolet has been the best car buying experience I've been apart of (7 cars at all different dealers). This deal was more important since it was for my mother. She knew that she wanted a mid size SUV and I got to work looking for her. We looked at a few other dealers in the area but never got any attention or couldn't schedule a good appointment since I live out of town. We called ahead and scheduled a meeting with Reagan Martin to meet with a sales rep. When we got there our rep was waiting outside for us and knew immediately where to take us. After a quick spin around the block we knew we had the right car. The owner, Gary, even stopped by making rounds on the sales floor to meet his customers...how cool is that? Our rep got the car in to be detailed right away so that my mom could drive off once the paperwork was done. They even had an insurance agent on site to help with that aspect right away. I think the best part of Leo Martin Chevrolet is that there is actually a member of the Martin family at the dealership almost all the time. Service department would not fix a single issue on my c8 corvette even though it was still covered under cpo warranty. They even refused to fix the passenger seat belt that continues to unbuckle randomly. At a minimum I would have expected them to fix this just to prevent a possible lawsuit. Called another dealership and they replaced everything and fixed everything under the warranty. Leo Martin also screwed up my wheel alignment which wore the inside of the tire down to bare wires in less than 3500miles, the outside of the tire is still around 75% life left. All other tires look new. It appears they didn't tighten the bolts and the tire shifted after leaving there. Avoid them at all cost! They refused to do anything on any of the issues present and just say sorry can't help you. Definitely go elsewhere! read more

Horrible professionalism and terrible salesman. I came in for a car appraisal. The salesman immediately demanded my keys upon arrival, with no other questions asked. I was worried the salesman wanted to take my vehicle for a joyride. So I offered to do a ride along with them if they wanted to drive my 700 hp vehicle. I noticed they had a change of attitude once I made that request. I then disagreed with one of their salesman on an appraisal offer that was insultingly low and the salesman wanted to argue with me all the way out the door. We were literally hollering and yelling at each other as I walked out of the door. I am sure the other customers enjoyed hearing the professionalism of Leo Martin's salesman. If I could give this business -5 stars I definitely would! So on Saturday I casually checked with Kelly Blue Book about the possibility of me selling my truck. In the description I notated that it had several problems from a loose valve cover gasket to the complete description of the truck. I get a couple of inquiries from dealerships including Leo Martin Chevrolet in lake Jackson tx. After multiple phone calls I finally decide to bring in the truck. First red flag to me was that I had to walk all the way in the dealership and not ONE salesmen spoke a word to me. I guess that's how your suppose to do it as a salesperson. Look like you couldn't give a rats a** about your potential customers. So they sit me with some guy that looks absolutely disgusted in the fact that he has to help me. He Starts blurting rude unnecessary statements on how he doesn't make money buying trucks, he makes money selling them. He asks me what I wanted for the 6.7 F250 and when I told him what the dealership offered me, he asked me if I wanted to get whatever I could take. He starts to drone on about his son being sick and throwing up and threw in it wasn't covid. Finally some big wig wanna be comes strutting out of the office, pretends to check out my truck and comes in and goes straight to the back. My salesman follows and I hear them laughing it up shooting the breeze. Guy comes back and offers me 1,000 dollars. A thousand. Yes for a 2011 6.7 f250. The man starts nervously ranting about all the lights on in the truck. I stand up and go to leave and he's still rambling about all the lights on the dash board. He forgot to give back the keys so when my sister went in to get them, he was still trying to convince her that because of all the lights that came on in the truck that were on the dashboard they could only offer me 1,000. I hop in my truck and the only light on was the low tire light. I wasted about 40 in diesel, my integrity and my time going to this dealership. I made an offer and they countered with a higher price than the truck was listed at with scam add ins like window tint and detailing. Be very careful when dealing with unethical sales departments! Do the research and know the value of the vehicle so you can walk away. Use your phone to look up other vehicles in that range. Never again. Awful customer service after the sale. We bought a used car from them. On the test drive, the left turn signal was sounding really fast. I asked the salesman about it and he said he didn't know. It was a burnt out bulb, which we figured out later. I seriously doubt the salesman didn't know that's what it was. During the first 3 days of driving, the low tire light kept coming on and the rear passenger tire was losing air constantly. I noticed it had mismatched tires, so decided to replace them all. (Probably my fault for not noticing when I bought it, I'm sure.). The passenger rear rim was bent. I took it to Leo Martin and I ended up paying for a new rim because they said they "would have noticed it when they changed the tires out". I let them know they didn't change the tires, it had mismatched tires, I still had to pay for a new rim. So less than a week after buying a car with the claim of "xxx point inspection", I had to pay nearly $1000 to fix what they should have. We were also talked into an extended, 1 year maintenance plan that included basic maintenance, oil change, etc. When we purchased it, we were told they would notify us by phone or email when it was time to bring it in. We never got any type of notification and they told us, when we took it in, that they do not provide notification service. I just had my car repaired for a recall and it was due for the maintenance and, after I checked the receipt, they charged me for the oil change that should have been covered on the warranty we purchased. (My fault for not paying attention when I was there, I know). I hope you have had a better experience with them. read more

I bought a used 2010 Chevy Malibu from Leo Martin in 2011. I request a Carfax at the time of sale, the Carfax showed clear , no issues. Now I'm trading the Malibu 2010 for a new car 3 years later. The Carfax review today, shows the car had moderate damage to the front end and was repaired, this devalued the trade-in by $2,000. The damage report was entered into Carfax January 2012 after the sale to me in December 2011 and was posted on the report in April 2012, I found this out from the Honda Dealer and by reviewing the report. Looks like, sounds like Leo Martin repaired the car, put it on the lot for sale and entered the damage to the Carfax after the sale to me. You can do the math. The customer service and professionalism is poor from sales to service. I've had air conditioner problems with the car immediately after the sale. I paid the service department to investigate and provide an estimate for the repair, they couldn't even do that well. I fixed the car myself using web search and you tube. These guys are "Crooks and Liars", extremely incompetent, or just plan stupid. Well, I guess the jokes on me, but only once. I hope those who read this review, proceed with caution and don't believe the Carfax at the time of sale. I learned it takes 3 to 4 months for damage to post to the report. I will not buy anything from Leo Martin, new or used or otherwise, not now and not ever. I wanted to share this review with those who yelp to keep you from falling for these tricks and lies. read more

I've bought two vehicles from Leo Martin and for the most part is wasn't bad. Joe in service is the best guy to talk to, he stays on top of everything and doesn't blow you off like the others. I recently hit a deer in my newest vehicle and the body shop is just ridiculous, they have told me my vehicle would be ready two weeks ago and I'm still waiting on it. Worst customer service ever! I brought my car to the collision center and was told the repair would take 3-4 days. It didn't. Every time I called to see if my car was ready they would tell me that it would be done in just a couple more days, but it never was. They had no explanation other than it would just take a little longer. They never called me to tell me of a delay, they just waited for me to call them, and about half the time they were unpleasant when I asked why it was taking so long. Finally, after four weeks, they called to say my car was ready. When I arrived an hour later they apologized and said that it wasn't ready, but it would be ready tomorrow. They kept my car for four weeks and a day. My advice is this: Do not ever do business with Leo Martin Chevrolet. I certainly won't. read more
