Everytime I've ran into issues with this bank it has been all on thier end. Issues like retaining my cash deposit because thier ATM crashed and having to wait a day for my funds to be available, having to wait 3 weeks to have access to a deposit over 5000 , them sending my new card to the wrong address and unable to print me a temporary card till I got my new one which didn't arrive for 3 weeks and caused me late fees on bills because this was the only bank i had at the time, having thier doors closed mid day because they had no coverage, and down ATM's all the time . And when i asked for assistance at this bank they feed you a script that does not match what actually happens just to get you out the door. I've gotten more help calling the customer service line than talking to someone in person. And when I closed the account today they were rude and were looking for reasons not to close it. I'm happy this is finally over and I will be sharing this experience with everyone I know who has an account there and everyone who doesn't.

Today is 09/06/2024 and I still have not received a call back. I have my business and personal banking at the bank. I have been very unhappy with them over my business deposits, they consistently lose the change that is included in my deposit. I have to use the night drop because I leave town before they open and don't get back to town until after they close. I have started taping the coins to a piece of paper and writing the amount on it and the outside of the envelope. The funds I deposit belong to clients so they must be correct. Corporate sends me a letter telling me there were no coins in the deposit with their phone number on it. When I called them they told me there was nothing they could do, then why put their phone number on it? Very frustrated with Chase Bank.

To compound the issue, they increased the prepayment penalty from 1% to 5%. When I complained about the huge increase, they told me that if I moved all my accounts to Umpqua Bank that they "may" decrease the amount of the increase. Absolutely disgusting and predatory business practices. The federal authorities should shut them down. We moved our business to another lender and refuse to ever do business with them again.
