Well I wish I would have look at Yelp before I ever went to Tri-County Eye in Gulfport!! I would have never gone as my service/appointment was disorganized, and ultimately I got the wrong contact prescriptions and they did NOTHING about it except tell me "sorry it past 90 day" My story is way to long for this post but trust me, DON'T go to this practice unless you want chaos in the wrong prescription at the end. I could see better before going to the doctor and now I have to wait another six months before I can get a corrected prescription to be able to see properly. I won't be going back to Tri-County eye clinic as they truly do not care about the patient they only care about what they've written down whether it's faults And they will argue with you that they're right and you are wrong. I totally understand why they only have two stars on yelp! read more

My name is Donna Redmond , I hate this place , I had just gotten out of the hospital after 3 surgeries and had a appointment with them . I was so sick I walked off and left my glasses at home . I tried to explain to Dr. Bertucci the older one how I was having a lot of pain in my eye when i move it side to side and he was so mad I didn't have my glasses with me that he laughed and said its because you want wear your glasses . I always wear my glasses and I just was so sick I didn't have them on at that time . But he said just get some reading glasses and walked out , he did not check my eye that I was having problems with and it felt like a knot in the back of my eye but he didn't want to hear about it . I'm paying him to do his job and I'm not paying him to treat me like a dog just because I forgot to bring my glasses . But he did me a favor I found another doctor somewhere else that listens and shows he cares and does check if you say your having problems . read more

This review is for the optics shop at tri county. I had an appointment, ordered my glasses and waited three weeks for them to arrive. They said they would be in in 5 to 7 days, didn't happen. Then they do arrive, I called to find out they had them...I go to pick them up (these are glasses that I paid 250 dollars for after insurance and I get my grandfather's pleather pocket protector glasses case, no costa case, not even a glasses cleaner cloth. I arrived 20 minutes early before my appointment (to give myself time to update patient documents). Nonetheless, SEVERAL people arrived after me and were shuffled right in and to the back. My appointment time came and went. I didn't get called to the back until an hour and 15 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment. That should NOT be how you handle patients and time management. Especially if those entering after me were in and out (as I was eventually) once I got my exam. And on top of that the doctor didn't have the warmest demeanor. Maybe he was in a mood because he had so many patients to see...hmmmm, shouldn't he feel "happy" about that?! I will have to think long and hard if I will use this office next year. No one wants to be "invisible" when they're on time and where they are supposed to be. read more

Billing here is awful! I have insurance and they reported me to a collection that has reported to my credit. It has taken an entire year for them communicate to to the collection company I have paid. Insurance was provided prior to them turning me over to a collection company. Now they tell me that I have to pay the collection fee....I will never return again. read more

I felt like a I was ordering a fast food eye exam!!! After waiting 2+ hours after my appointment time some woman did the eye exam that was not a Dr. I'm older and needed to discuss some problems with the Dr. his attention for the 3 timed minutes I spent with him was how'd those OTC eye drops work I said caused a lot of problems. He said great keep using them we'll see you in a year. REALLY. Went into the optical to pick a pair of frames just looking around and the tech said you need to be over here with what your insurance covers advised her I have money to pay extra. Really, my eyes are serious business to me. Visited the other location for frames and was treated totally different, reviewing them next. read more

I have been going to Tri County Eye Clinic since 1999. Never have I witnessed anything that would warrant a negative review. I have always received the finest care there. Everybody at the front desk treated me professionally and with respect. Dr Gregory Bertucci is the eye doctor who takes care of me and knows his job and performs it well. read more

After a so so eye exam and re done prescription, received glasses and fit was horrible. Went to the eye tech to explain what areas of fit I was having problems with and she walked off without saying a word with my glasses. She came back and handed them to me, I walked out and said I would never return. Follow up is horrible. Dr. needs to do a serious quality control of the personnel there on CUSTOMER SERVICE and respect. Will never go there again. read more

Dr Bertucci is kind and thoughtful and this tech staff is thorough and knowledgeable. The reception staff is not the warmest but I didn't have any real issues with it them. The eye exam they do for lasik is by far the more comprehensive eye exam I've ever seen. read more

This review is for Tri-County Eye Clinic at 15122 Dedeaux Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503 The reason I'm giving this office one star is because never in all my years of wearing contacts have I had an office act so unprofessionally. First, they sent me home with a pair of contacts to try and when I called back to order them, they they said "well which ones did you like?" I couldn't tell them this because I only had one pair in my eyes (having at the docs office removed one of the trials - at his direction - because it was very uncomfortable) and they said "well we have it on file that you have two different contacts in each of your eyes, so if you can't tell us which one it is, you'll have to make another appointment for a fitting". Are you kidding?! All because they had notated incorrectly that I had gone home with a different type of contact in each eye, and they didn't know which it was!! After this, I was so frustrated I wanted to see if I could decipher what it said and order them elsewhere, but they refused to fax me the prescription! The nurse said, well I guess we can fax it to you, but it will say VOID all over it. I said, "well why is that? I paid to have the prescription done, why would it be voided?" She couldn't give me an answer except that I had to come in and pick it up, even though it is 30 minutes out of my way to do so. All because they want to make money on the sale of the contacts. I find that unbelievable because legally (according to Federal Trade Commission regulation Sec. 456.2) your eye doctor is required to give you a copy of your prescription upon your request and allow you to buy your lenses wherever you so choose but they will make it as hard as possible for you if they're not patient-friendly, which this office definitely is not. This office not only didn't offer them, they are now holding them hostage. Finally...despite the lack of communication and note-taking and money-hungriness of this office, I have to say that the optometrist was nice...but if you want professionalism and sense coming from the receptionist and nurses at a front desk, steer clear!! read more

The building and staff are nice enough but the hour wait was not. Once we asked the staff when they thought we might be able to see a doctor, they replied with "I don't know". They made no attempt to create the illusion of caring whether or not I saw a doctor. All I know is that the service at the VA is better, which is inadequate at best. read more
