I called in to inquire about getting my daughter's trunk opened earlier this week. Fred, the gentleman who answered the phone, was very nice. He invited my daughter and I to bring her chest in to be serviced and gave us their business hours. George proceeded to check out our trunk and give us information about the lock. Because our trunk was a bit older it was a little trickier to get it opened. Asked keys to be made for two desks at my office. Fred came to my office took two of the barrels then called me to say he couldn't do the job. I haven't seen him since, after requesting the barrels be returned. I asked for return of the barrels, so I could pay him. He never showed up with the barrels. These guys are horrible. One guy in particular, walks with a limp and has a tattoo of a snake on his forearm. Lazy and unskilled. I tried once to make a cylinder key and then gave up saying he doesn't wanna keep wasting keys. That machine is rare, Locksmith is a train. I first encountered this vendor in an emergency vehicle lockout at Ventura marina on a Sunday afternoon ( lost my keys). They had me in my car and up and running in 15 minutes. I visited the store that Monday, they programmed my Nissan key fob, cut several keys and programmed a second blank key fob for my Nissan all in another 15 minutes. And for a fraction of the cost quoted by other vendors. The inventory of blank keys is huge.
