Fred helped me in no time at all. He was the second person triple a sent to help me as the first guy was unsuccessful. I was unable to get into my 2001 bmw even though I had my keys on hand. The secondary security system had kicked in and breaking a window to unlock the car was beginning to be a likely option. Thank god that didn't come to pass. Turns out the battery had died and I didn't realize it. Fred quickly jumpstarted the car and I was able to unlock it. We have tried to use this business a few times. Very poor customer service. I like to use local businesses. Not friendly and we called to get a quote for putting locks on our cabinets and they were 3 times more expensive than other quotes we received. I do not recommend using their services. read more

I was having trouble with my car door opening and thought it was the lock itself. I went to Tri County and spoke with George and learned it was the key. He was so great! This saved me a lot because my car dealership wanted to take apart my entire lock system on my door to figure out why it wasn't working. How can you call your facility a locksmith? I took a small safe in to get it opened. Was told it could be drilled for 95.00. When i stated i would take it to another business in oxnard who said they could get in it. The employee stated. He must have the tool To open it. Uh yeah no kidding, locksmiths have the tools to do that. Its not a lock any different than you see on any coke or pepsi machine. 35.00 later it was done. With a new replacement key, no drilling involved. read more

I just received one of the worst customer service experience in my life. I don't recommend this place to anyone. I called on Saturday because my key got stuck in the lock. I didn't have the right tools to get it out so I called this company since the other ones in town were closed. They guy came out and very easily took the key out. He charged me $195. Which was a rip off. I started using a spare key just in case the original key was the issue but 3 days later the new key also got stuck so I called them and asked if they could come out under a warranty or something to help me, the person on the phone said they didn't have a warranty (even though they charged an arm in a leg ) but they would figure something out. The same guy came out and quickly pull the key out so I asked just to show me what to do in case it happened again while I got a new lock all together and he did. I was like cool thanks. Then he said we are going to give you a $50 discount, so he wanted to charge me another $150 even though he didn't even fix my lock or changed it. I told him they should have told me before he did anything and why was he charging me again if he had just over charged me the first time? He said because it was the weekend and no one else was open. Then He stormed off saying GOOD LUCK! DON'T CALL US NEXT TIME! And some other stuff between his teeth I didn't really understand. I can't believe the lack of customer service. read more

My morning started out really badly today! I locked my keys in my car this morning and immediately started calling around for a locksmith. I talked to three locksmiths and Tri County was the only one willing to come out at 7am. I talked to George and he promised to have someone to me within 40 minutes. Some one was there within 20 minutes, which meant I was only ten minutes late to work. Considering it was so early in the morning I thought the price was more than reasonable! read more
