I also later discovered that the front window on the cap was missing as was the spare tire and the radio did not work. The owner claimed that many people said they were coming, made appointments, etc, then failed to show, as way of explaining why the work was not done. Had he actually completed the work, he would have known that the cap window was missing. When I viewed the truck the sun was in my eyes and I could not see the missing window. The owner later explained that he did not know what I meant but never asked for clarification. As to the radio, he said it was a fuse. It was not. There were also no keys for the cap's locks. The owner disavowed any responsibility for any of the things that were wrong with the truck and now may face a Small Claims Court suit as he has also stopped responding to emails and has refused to make even a token offer of compensation. The problems with this truck will cost me up to $1500.00 to rectify. I offered to have him complete the work at his business and he ignored that offer.

Then why would you leave it running if you have a battery? The thing was a POS , interior had not been cleaned. Transmission going out,bald tires, it shook on passenger side and the rear. Today 5/20/2021 we contacted them and they said we weren't getting the car back because she was behind on her payment. She got behind because she couldn't drive the lemon to work. While on the lot I was gaslit on a few issues I noticed. We are a family with a disabled veteran and a handicapped elder and needed a reliable larger vehicle to transport wheelchair and such. Well, now I know he was right about hearing bad stories!! It was a typical visit to a small car lot with cheesy dealers!! The Owner, Isaiah, was what you would call a Smooth-Fast Talker. All he did was talk-up his business & how he buys cars at auctions, and how the prices are up right now. He also just had to mention how many cars he sells per week... 50... He claims to sell 50 cars per week!! Ain't no way!! All this BS went on for about 20 minutes. And trust me, most of it was complete BS!! And let me tell you, this guy CAN TALK!! He doesn't even take a breath. Apparently, a stupid car salesman tactic. After hearing about Isaiah's "Fabulous Car Lot" for 20 minutes, he FINALLY decides to ask what we were looking for.... A car, duh!! Not your life story!! So, we had the normal conversation about cars, credit & money. Well, like any crooked salesman, he swore up & down that he could put me in a car!! I told him my credit score and that I could only put down $500 at the time. Again, he swore up & down that he could get me a car. Off to the office we went.... he asked me for my license, pay stubs & bank info. I said I didn't have that stuff on me, but could get what he needed off my phone. Well, when he asked for access to my bank account.... that's when I said I would need to think about things first. Why would HE need to access MY bank account?!?!? So, we left. Days later, I decided to fill out their online Credit Application to see if he could actually help me. So, the next day I get a text from Sue saying she was working on my application. She asked me what I could put down, and I said $500 again, and she tells me I would need at least $1,000 down. I told her that was not possible. She then asked if I could get a Co-Signer..... If I had a Co-Signer, I would NOT be at your tiny little lot dealing with nonsense!!! I really wanted to say that, but didn't. I thanked her for her help & said goodbye. Not more than 30 minutes later, I get a text from Isaiah asking me questions. I basically told him the same info. Mind you, this is the guy that SWORE to put me in a car. I told him I had already spoken to Sue & advised what we discussed. Why does he not know this?? Do they not communicate on who is working on an application?? So, he strings me along on text message, commenting when it was convenient for him. He then asks, do you have a trade? I said yes, but it doesn't run. He asked, what type of car, what is wrong with it and I told him. About 30 minutes later, he replies "Okay, thanks". WTF?!?!? I gave up on this pathetic "Car Dealership"!!
