When I caught them in the act they acted as if they didn't understand me. They clearly understood because they started using the right method of roping the limb so it couldn't fall on my property, then using a long hook to bring it in and lower it slowly. Finally, I was able to get one of them to talk to me and he didn't seem to care about the damage he caused. All he said was that when they finished they would come clean it up. My banana trees are damaged and they broke my backyard lights that were strug on my fence. When all this was happening I had my pets (chickens and dogs) in my back yard. They could have easily killed one with their carelessness. I do not recommend using them for anything!!!

They were quick to come and give us a thorough check on the trees and made their recommendation. Pablo, the lead, was not pushy and was very sympathetic to our attachments to the one Oak. He was willing to come out a second time to review once again. He took videos so that we could see what he saw when he climbed up the high branches and explained the issues he saw, patiently. He was mindful to consult with the arborist about the issues as well. Indeed his suggestions reflected the knowledge and experience he had. Yes, we had other tree services stop by and give us quotes but we decided to use Texans Professional Tree Services. They showed to be more knowledgeable and professional. The whole process and the work they did was outstanding. I did not realize what a huge undertaking this was, but from the beginning everything was explained to me step by step. The crew arrived on time each day, I was introduced to the supervisor of the project and felt comfortable asking questions as they came up. They were very respectful of my property and cleaned up every day before they left. At the end of the project my property was pressure washed and looks better than ever! I love the fact that there is an App to set my system and I can monitor it anytime. Eric will also continue to monitor the system from his end and adjust as needed. I called a well-known tree service company that had an arborist but despite…read morea conversation with the office, as well as sending a text with photos of the tree problem and shrubbery issues, and the promise that an arborist would look at the photos, I never heard back from the company. After several days, I gave up and called Garrett Tree Services and spoke with Theo,. He came over to the residence very quickly, took a look at the problem and made his suggestions. I thought I was dealing with a major fungus problem with a tree and a large shrub, it really looked bad. But he said that this could be normal aging, treatment wasn't needed at this time because that was very expensive to do, and that we should just prune and clean up the plants and see how they did, revisiting the issue if it recurred. it looked pretty bad and I figured the neighbors thought we were trashing the street. :-) Anyway, Theo turned up the next day with two other people and in about an hour they had the large pear tree pruned and cleaned up, the large shrub in front of the house pruned and trimmed and shaped, and they hauled away a large limb from a water oak that had fallen in the last storm. He charged a very good price and I was happy to pay and not worry about things anymore. If there are issues down the road, then I can call Theo, and we'll look at it and discuss it again, but for now I think everything's in great shape and the front garden certainly looks better attended.
