Before agreeing to any work, I explained that the issue had not been diagnosed and could involve the irrigation system, well pump, electrical connections, or the well itself. I asked if he could diagnose and handle all of it. He assured me he could. My existing pump was a Pentair Sta-Rite 1.5 HP shallow well jet pump, only about two years old. Greg said it was unlikely I needed a new pump and that he could assess and resolve the issue. I also told him before work began that I could pay by credit card or bill pay, which takes several business days. He agreed to bill pay. Greg went directly to the pump and did not perform a meaningful full-system diagnosis. He did not verify the well water level, properly diagnose the irrigation system, or recommend electrical evaluation before proceeding. I showed him video from days earlier showing the irrigation operating with proper pressure and coverage. He criticized prior work, added a capacitor, then concluded the motor failed and that I needed a new pump. He said he had the same pump on his truck and could install it immediately. Before agreeing, I asked if he could guarantee irrigation water would be restored. He said yes. After he installed the pump, the irrigation still did not work. That is when his demeanor changed completely. Instead of calmly troubleshooting, he became hostile, aggressive, and began yelling over me. He first blamed the irrigation system, claiming someone must have changed it. When that did not hold up, he blamed the well, claiming it had dried up and that I needed a deeper or entirely new well. He then blamed the electrical setup, saying the pump needed a dedicated circuit -- something visible from the beginning and never raised before he removed my equipment and installed a new pump. I asked for a short time to have independent professionals inspect the system because the problem he guaranteed would be fixed was not fixed. Instead, he demanded immediate payment despite agreeing to bill pay, threatened to remove the equipment, and yelled that he would contact other contractors and tell them not to work with me. He then began cutting into and removing equipment on my property. I repeatedly asked him to stop and leave. He refused. In my view, this crossed the line from a failed repair into destructive conduct and equipment vandalism. I had to call 911 four times. Multiple neighbors witnessed the incident, and it was captured on cameras and video. When law enforcement arrived, I agreed for him to be escorted by two sheriffs so he could remove the equipment he had cut into and return my original equipment, which was thrown into my front yard. The next morning, professionals repaired the damage and restored everything. It was confirmed there were no issues with my irrigation system or well. Greg's explanations did not hold up under independent review. This was not merely a failed repair. It was a complete failure of diagnosis, professionalism, judgment, and self-control. I have never had to call 911 on a contractor before, let alone four times in one evening. Anyone considering this company for well pump work should be seriously forewarned.

Moving forward, I will only trust Yelp's verified reviews. He said that there would be a $125 diagnostic fee that he would wave if he did the job (as long as it wasn't anything that only cost "$200 or $300." I just looked on our invoice, and he charged us for the diagnostic fee. He repaired a pin hole under the reverse valve on our a/c unit. A month later, the reverse valve seized. When I called him, he initially acknowledged that it could happen. He's said he'd come to replace the repair valve. I felt bad that he would do the labor again, so I offered to buy the part that he caused to seize. I called him as soon as I bought the part on Friday, but he said he wouldn't be available to come out until the following week. With temperatures in the 90s (with "feels like" in the 100s), I explained that we couldn't wait that long. He said he was a one-man company and was busy (funny, when I called at 5pm the first time, he was here at 9am the very next morning). He rudely told me to call someone and he'd pay for it. I called two separate companies, both of which confirmed that the reverse valve rarely goes out, and it was likely due to the repair. I was surprised that they didn't try to upsell me a new unit, but they seemed to be empathetic. They both told me to contact the company that did the repair. I called again and explained what the other two companies told me, and he began arguing that now he doesn't think it's his fault, but he said he send me a check for $1700 "just to get rid of me." He was incredibly unprofessional. Therefore, it wasn't a surprise that a check never arrived. Today, another company's owner visited and explained that while nitrogen was probably used to flush the system during the original repair, it likely wasn't utilized in the brazing of the pipe, leading to carbon buildup that caused the reverse valve to seize, along with debris in the pipe - so even if the reverse valve is replaced, there's no guarantee that the stuff inside the pipes wasn't going to seize the new reverse valve. Now the $1,700 repair just because more expensive. I am left feeling disappointed by the entire experience with ANMP. Trust only the verified reviews. It was a costly mistake, but a lesson learned .

Invoice says payment due in 30 days -- he places lien and files in court after 7 days…read more While I was in Michigan I received a phone call saying there was water in my neighbor's Florida condo which was coming from my unit next-door. I hadn't been in my condo for months and had no idea what the situation was. I called Mr. Dry Out and asked if he could take a look. When Mr. Dry Out arrived and called it was clear from his description that water was present for a long time causing extensive damage. Among other things he specifically mentioned that he would charge an insurance company $4000 to $5000 to remediate the damages which were so extensive that the unit was not fit for sale, that walls needed to be removed, and that mold could extend four feet high. I said that I was very familiar with construction and would leave the next morning to drive down, but that my immediate concern was to stop any water from entering my neighbor's unit. Mr. Jerabek became extremely difficult to deal with. I became concerned and called several times to say that all I wanted was to protect the adjacent unit. He said that there was much that needed to be done and he would continue to do all that he wanted to protect his reputation. I wanted to tell him to leave my place, but felt I couldn't due to the need to safeguard my neighbors. He eventually left after several hours. Two days later I arrived to find that the description I had received was completely false. There was no mold and it was obvious that there had not been any. All the furniture was in excellent condition, the walls were just as when we left months ago, nothing had been damaged by water. I was shocked! It was readily apparent that the water had not been in our unit for an extended time and only recently when a worker turned on the main shutoff valve outside our unit had a leaking faucet in the bathroom -- immediately adjacent to my neighbors -- caused the floor to be wet. Though I had said that I would do any needed work on my unit, Mr. Jerabek had removed carpet throughout my condo, tore off tiles, ripped up tack strip, and removed trim. None of which I wanted or needed, and none of which had anything to do with protecting my neighbor. I feel fortunate that my strong protestations on the phone hindered him from doing even more destruction. From my condo I called Mr. Dry Out and told him we needed to discuss his work. He refused to meet and threatened legal action. After returning to Michigan I received a bill in the mail for twice the amount he had quoted which called for payment within 30 days. After only seven days I received notice that a lien had been place on my property and a suit filed in small claims court. The judge gave him half of what he was seeking.
