Shopped for the first time at this store on 27 May 2026. I am new to the area so wanted to see what this local store had. They have an amazing Bourbon selection! That said they are charging secondary pricing and then some for their bottles! I found a super rare bottle I have wanted for a long time and I bought it even at the exorbitant price. I also purchased 2 more bottles of regularly available Bourbon. My bill was shocking! I would only return to this store if I was searching for a rare bottle and was willing to spend secondary pricing! Otherwise they are an absolute ripoff! Monday 11/14/22 around 6:30pm First time in, passing thru town. Incredible selection, maybe the largest I've seen. Super friendly staff, I spoke with a lady and then at checkout a man. Several bottles of bourbon you will not see anywhere else, or at least I haven't. If you like good bourbon check this place out however don't expect any deals! Con: super pricey! read more

This place used to be respectable, but now they just scalp everyone on price. You'll find countless bottles that are $40-50 everywhere in the world, but they manage to have $85-90 price tags at Tri State. And I'm not talking about the rare and allocated items. Shop elsewhere if you can help it. I no longer waste my time here. read more

Ok I was looking for something specific and this place had what I was looking for. I would gladly return if doing a large liquor purchase as its not super convenient for me to get to. But as others mentioned don't let the humble looking outside fool you, there is a large selection of stuff I found here that the Virginia ABC's paled in comparison. Keep in mind as someone else mentioned in their review the aisles are pretty narrow. There is a lot of stuff so look above your eye level especially if you are looking for something specific. I was very impressed with the selection and the prices were pretty reasonable compared to what I would have paid on the other side of the river. read more

Tri-State Liquors is a small liquor store just off of Route 464 in Brunswick, MD. The aisles of booze are fairly narrow - so you need to exercise some self awareness while in here with regard to your position relative to other customers - so that you are not blocking them and vice versa. I had a hard time finding a few items I was looking for - but Raj, who appears to be the owner will work hard to find items for which you are searching. He seems to have an intuitive feel for where things are located in what appears to be a jumble of booze! He is also a really nice guy. He bounced back and forth between me and the register to ring other customers up. Some of their prices are significantly lower than prices at the Virginia ABC Stores. read more

I just moved to the area and wanted to try out the local liquor store spots. I've been here once before to get my usual scotch selection that I got elsewhere (also in Maryland)...and it seemed over priced significantly. I decided to give the place a second chance being so close to my new home but I had worse experience the second time. I didn't see my usual item on the shelf but grabbed a cheaper alternative. I was rung up for one bottle of scotch whiskey and a six pack of beer...and the total was for $296 dollars. I questioned the price and was told the whiskey was an almost 200 dollar bottle. It's not even close to that in reality and retails for less than $100 dollars. I was given several contradicting prices when I asked the real value and was told it was more than the usual bottle I buy with an explanation of why it was so expensive....none of which add up to almost 300 dollars. I've gotten this whiskey many times before from several places and it was never this much even if you double the price. What is the justification for a $296 total? Was the six pack of beer also a hundred dollars? I felt like they were being dishonest and trying to take advantage of someone trying to buy seemingly more expensive items and hoping I was naive to the cost. Because of this I will never shop here again. You lost a long term customer who would have spent a lot of money at your establishment. If you're not dishonest then you truly don't know the cost of your merchandise and I don't know which is worst. read more

Do not let the humble exterior cause you to not take this store seriously: it is superb. I specifically went looking for various brands and blends of whiskey. They had everything I was looking for and more. This will be my single malt supply store for a while: they have a lot. The store is loaded with products - floor to ceiling. Kathy helped me and she knows what she has. I am told that Raj is excellent with advice and wisdom. Impressive inventory in a very humble facility. read more

Don't let its small modest exterior fool you. It must possess dimensional transcendentalism. Like the Tardis, it's bigger on the inside and has the best selection of both whiskey and gin as well as some hard-to-find items. I'm not rating it on price, but for selection, convenience and the feel of the "room of requirement" stocked bottles - it's an excellent ramble through the maze of liqueurs, cognacs, bourbon, and gin from floor to ceiling. We procured all of our bottles for whiskey tastings and gin tasting here for 1 stop shop. You can also get wine and other spirits. If you're near the area (and need to shop at Weis, which is close by), definitely worth a try! read more

Just had the worst experience! I rarely shop this store because of their high prices but stopped in for a bottle of wine. At checkout, the clerk rang up my bottle for $30+ but a sign said 4 varieties of Joel Gott wine was on sale for $19.99. I asked the clerk to look at the sign. He just ripped it off the shelf and said, "Sorry, I'm taking it down". Wow! Worst. Store. Ever. read more

I visit friends in Inwood, WV once a year and we make a pilgrimage to this store. Raj always makes us feel welcome and is quick to point out the "deals of the day". For me, the great attraction is the selection of single malts he carries. Being from VA, he far surpasses the the local ABC stores. Also, the prices are usually around $20 less than the state stores. One of those stores you have to walk sideways down the isle. It takes a while to take it all in so make sure you're not doing a quick in and out. Prices range from cheap to totally high end. read more

Store definitely maximizes the small space with filling it to the ceiling. The employees are incredibly nice and helpful and they've always had my favorite Fourth of July vodka in stock even past Fourth of July!
