I bought my Med-Lift chair through a pharmacy, that also supplies medical equipment, in April 2014…read more *1st day, button in back rest falls off (it wasn't sewn on) *The wires in my controller broke within 6 months *My controller has been replaced 4 times (I babied it but it just kept breaking *My chair is rated for well over my weight (I bought the large chair because of the storage in the arms & the "table", which hasn't fared too well) but a screw snapped & had to be replaced *Saturday night there was a snap & now the motor is shot & I need a new motor *The material I chose, pseudo leather (?), started peeling within 6 months *The entire area behind my head, at the edge of the seat & both arms are worn away This chair is barely 4 years old & it looks like one that would be tossed on the side of the road. Save your money & your sanity. You can get 2 1/2 chairs from Amazon for what I paid. Are there "lemon laws" for overpriced chairs that crap out 6 times in 4.2 years? P.S. The pharmacy no longer stocks this company's chair; too many complaints, apparently.

After 3 lift chairs we found a good one. I started to look on line and found Med-Lift. Well-made and allot less expensive then the furniture store. I got the Model # 6955, It is the top of the line and expensive but worth the price. Only problem is that the foot rest will not raise more then 16", so your legs are at a slight angle. This chair will recline full back, so you can sleep in it. There are many places to see the chair or another model, but check prices on line before you buy one. Very comfortable, fits a large man or woman with a 4 year warranty. A lift chair to lift you out of your seat. (Helps you stand up from the chair) Power Recliner.
