I was having a nightmare of a time getting a contractor to come and do my condo renovation. Not only does my my building have a lot of requirements for contractors, the period in which I was trying to start my project, my service elevator was out of commission, undergoing its own renovations, creating difficulty for contractors to deliver equipment and supplies. After meeting with countless contractors, that refused to take on my job, due to these challenges, I was given Richard's contact, by my realtor. Richard was extremely professional, understanding of my frustrations, and willing to help me, no matter how many hurdles he had to jump over. His team, Rocky and Flori, were great. They had tons of ideas to help me stay within my budget. The team also made getting all of my construction materials and appliances a complete breeze. I picked out my appliances, tile, paint, etc. and Flori took care of ordering all of the materials, scheduling with the building, and delivering them, even handling appliances that were delivered damaged. Flori provided me with consistent updates on the project, as I was unable to be present in the unit each day, due to work. He was extremely responsive to questions, very personable, and fun to work with. Richard was also extremely invested, constantly checking in to see how things were progressing and if I was satisfied with the work that was being done. This a great team, who will really listen to what you want and will do whatever it takes to help you achieve it! It is always hard when you find out you have damage to your property and you have to figure out how to get it fixed and get it back in working order. I was a difficult customer no question, Flori and Slavic were always professional and found common ground and assured me that everything's gonna be OK let's add Covid to the mix and things were very stressful. Not only was the work done exceeding expectations they always did the right thing and more importantly they were always kind gentle warm and understanding which in today's pandemic is what we need everybody is stressful they always held ground and made sure everybody was happy!!! REVIEWS DON'T LIE!! Uncouth owner who does NOT want (the client) to inquire about anything or else he gets mad at you like he is actually doing you a favor. Very emotional an angry individual. Communication was a disaster as they will not communicate with you on whats being done, neither when the next visit will be. A typical Tri-standard is; Show up at your premises tell you they are outside or no-show if you had prior arrangements. You are not allowed to inquire about anything or else the "Owner gets mad at you" who is also not very straight forward. To sum it up i would NOT recommend!! careful with this one. read more

If you want to be scammed go with this company, many of us in our condo building learned the hard way after our building fire. They're dishonest, misleading and will take as much insurance money they can get without doing any work. Update: Small compensation made from company. I will start out by saying the company is deceitful; I was told one time frame and materials were ordered but that wasn't the case. Materials were ordered after I asked for a refund and multiple calls later. It took 3 WEEKS to finish a garage roof tear down, re-framing, and new roof. Poor time management to say the least; they find it acceptable to send workers for 2-3 hours a visit, endless excuses, and a no show for a week! My belongings were sitting outside during this time and multiple items were thrown away from water exposure. I am relieved not to have to deal with this company any longer especially after 9 weeks. read more

My apartment burned 1508 w 17th st 3rd front . They efficiently worked with me helping me understand whole procedure. They answered all my questions I had they did a good job with landlord to get me back in a efficient time to my home. All thanks to Montse such a understanding company threw her. If I could give zero stars I would. This company is impossible to communicate with, does not respond to emails or text messages, and you can't get a response from them until they want to be paid. They tried to charge me double what we agreed on, then refused to provide an actual invoice for months, before the owner finally reached out after many harassing phone calls from front desk staff. And to top it all off, their quote for repairs ended up getting me less money than my insurance would have given me without using them. Stay away! read more

We had a leak in our basement. We own a three flat. I called tristate, spoke to Montse. She was able to get them to stop in the next day. Flori was the person that showed up to our home, Analyzed the problem and explained to us how the insurance works. They guided us correctly. Tom Herbst is a SCAM ARTIST! He was paid a large amount of money directly through my insurance and did not complete one project. He wasn't paying his workers and most would only come 1 day and never return. Any legit contractors he would bring in contacted me directly to inform me they weren't coming back until Tom paid them. The worst restoration company ever! Took over three weeks to get an "invoice" when we asked for an Estimate! The lady I spoke to on the phone didn't even know what she was talking about. They couldn't return any calls. Not using this company for our insurance claim. read more

Last summer we came home after a week long vacation, to find that apartment had been flooded due to a pipe burst in our kitchen.
