We have been trying for a month to schedule service on our RV. Scott was recommended to us so we wanted to have him do the work. He knew we would be leaving town in a month but put us off until the last day. He scheduled the appointment and on the morning of our service he canceled. If he didn't want the job he should have told us up front and we would have hired someone else. Very disappointing and terrible service. read more

Our heater went out and it was cold in Cedar City. We called two local providers and got nowhere. Then found Scott and he responded immediately. He took me through some troubleshooting on the phone and came to us an hour away on a Saturday. Fully diagnosed the problem and ordered parts. Returned on Tuesday and finished the job. I think it is worth noting that he has been in business 25 years and has a great variety of common RV parts in stock. He tries to troubleshoot by phone so he arrives with the correct parts and only has to make one service call and charge. We could not be more pleased with his service. read more

I hired Scott when a slide out on my cyclone toy hauler stopped working. It seemed impossible to physically get up in there and repair it because the slide out was in the closed position which left literally inches and the motor in question was on the opposite side and I could see absolutely no way to even get over to it! He called me a short time later while I was at work and told me he had installed a new motor and it's working great and he was finished... I was surprised he was done but surely I'm going to pay a ton for it right?!? Well, The Price he charged was far less than I expected and honestly I probably would've paid more just for the motor if I had ordered it myself from a local dealer than what he charged for the entire fix. He fixed the problem so quickly where I had no clue how to even get to it and I was more than impressed. My experience everywhere else was nowhere even close to that of TriState and I will recommend and use Scott every single time I can. If you're around southern Utah and looking for rv repair, save your time and just take my advice! Call these guys and thank me later...Definitely the best in the business. read more

The water pump in our travel trailer was leaking. We were in Caliente NV about 90 miles away from Scott. Since the leak was under control he asked if we could wait about 10 days to have it repaired, since that is when he planned to repair another persons rv in Caliente at that time. Scott texted me when he was going to Caliente on a Friday. The pump replacement took about 30 minutes. The price was reasonable and he split the house call cost since he was there for another job. read more

For all who've been ripped off on rv repair like me in the past, I am very pleased to let you all know what a great experience dealing with Tri-State RV Supply was! We were headed out on vacation in our old Country Coach when the rear roof air caused a short and completely disabled the entire 115 volt system. Since this happened on the 4th of July, we returned home to Mesquite, Nv. expecting we were out of luck for the rest of the week regarding any repair. I called Tri-State on late Tuesday afternoon and they arrived early Wednesday morning. Everything was expertly diagnosed and repaired in a little over an hour. All power restored and the rear air conditioner fixed! I was totally impressed with the professionalism and decent price I was charged rectifying this vacation setback. I called to see if they would replace the slide seals on my motorhome slide outs. I even have the material. With no hesitation they turned me down flat saying it takes too much time. Had a Carefree automatic awning tear off at my rig and didn't know how to retract without doing further damage. Scott came out the next morning and made quick work of getting us set for travel. Our electrical system shut down in 105 degree weather and we were in desperate need of air conditioning. We have two dogs so we needed to do something immediately. We started calling around and one place told us they would check it out Monday, three days away, or charge double for an emergency call. WHAT? We tried another place that didn't return our call. We called Scott Lee for some RV warranty items. Five total. He came out to do the work, but after 10 weeks he had only fixed 2 of the items. He left a part to fix the washing machine in our storage compartment but never came back to fix it. Part is still setting there. He left access panels off in our closet, storage compartment as well as underneath unit access. He also removed doors to work on washer, but never returned to fix it or replace everything he took apart. I would never recommend him to anyone. He won't even return our calls. Said he was waiting on parts. RV dealer gave us dates he sent parts and verified they were received and Scott had been paid in full by them. You would think he would at least put our RV back together...but nope, my husband is under the RV as I write this. 10 weeks!!!! We do not recommend Scott Lee at all. D and K Jack. read more

I called Scott twice. Both times he came out in a flash. He knows everything and how to fix it fast. You pay less for his service call than others, and a min. charge of $85.00. He carries all of the parts you need on his truck. BELIEVE me, we have hired others and so have our neighbors and regretted it. HIRE TRI-STATE. Get Scott out there and get it fixed. He stays very busy and does not advertise. There is a reason. He is just that good. The others are just that bad. read more

Our 5th wheel broke the landing gear gear box on a recent trip that took us through St. George. As we could not move the unit to a repair facility, I inquired if the park we were staying in knew anyone who was in the mobile RV repair business. They and Camping World in St. George sent me to Scott and what a great recommendation that was. He was at our site, within minutes and not only diagnosed the problem but had the parts in stock to fix it. His prices were very reasonable, and his service was remarkable. Beyond that, Scott is just a very nice guy and was a pleasure to talk to. In the end, the repair too a little extra time as we decided to upgrade our landing gear system and he had to order those particular parts. In total, we were in St. George for about 8 more hours than we planned but we came away with a better, more reliable landing gear system and a new friend. It's great to know that if you need this type of service, Scott is there and you will be well taken care of. As to people saying he overcharged, that was certainly not my experience, but I've been trailering enough to know that anything RV is expensive. read more

We arrived at our rv spot late at night and woke to the ac not working. Rv park attendant recommended scott so we called him and by chance he was in the park looking at someone else's ac! He did look at ours and stated it needed replaced which he did within 2 hours!! GREAT SERVICE!!!! BUT!!!! He way over charged us for parts! I get it was 4th of july weekend !! Double the price for an ac unit is excessive! Oh and charge extra for a credit card!! REALLY????? read more
