    The faded color
    Nellie G.

We had our pool redone a couple of years ago with Triad. Worst experience you can imagine. A job that was suppose to take 6 weeks , took 4months. We needed a new paved deck, the inside of the pool refinished, a new diving board and new front sidewalks. They ended up making my deck footage smaller, did a crap job on the color of the refinish of the inside of the pool, that has now faded to light grey (I wanted Black Magic) And never even installed the Diving board. The front sidewalks are already sinking in many places. The project manager during the work, kept delaying, telling us it's "Scheduling" always telling us "tomorrow" when we would ask when they would return. Worst of it is....they ripped out the original deck and then weeks went by before we saw them again, that way we were stuck with this company. At the end they still sent us a lousy bill for $900. Telling us we still owed them. When they Never installed the diving board. I had to get another contractor to fix their mistakes which cost me more money. Avoid this business. Absolutely disappointed and disgusted with them. The "held us hostage" the whole summer, because they might come "tomorrow"

Triads work where the hand rails goes in shallow end!!

Triad is the worst concrete company hands down and they do not care how your project ends up or how it affects you and your family. Do not hire them for any project unless you want to spends thousands of dollars in the future to repair their poor quality job. I give them zero stars as they are not good enough to get 1 star, but yelp wouldn't let me give them a zero. When you call them out on the problems, they deflect and blame someone else (like the pool company), even though they poured the concrete). Triad cares about one thing and one thing only, getting paid for the job. Unfortunately the cracking started a month after they were paid in full. If you think they warranty anything, think again as Triad will not accept responsibility for anything. 1) Triad did a large exposed aggregate job around the pool for my family about 10 years ago and I immediately had issues with the concrete cracking every single place that the cups were set for the hand railings. They are unwilling to fix the job as they blame anyone else but themselves. I am now at the point where I can't setup any of the hand rails, which is dangerous for any kids going in and out, and the cantilever edge/concrete is literally falling apart - see the pictures and judge for yourself. They should be embarrassed about their workmanship and quality, but could care less about reviews or thief reputation. Hopefully everyone sees this review before selecting them for any job. 2) They brought the concrete right up to my walk out basement for my handicapped son (who's permanently in a wheelchair), but the concrete is 4-6 inches higher than my basement floor. You would think they would slope the concrete for water drainage, but put a level on it and you get another surprise (they sloped the concrete towards my house - see pics. They also installed this material against the trim boards (concrete butted up to it), which just soaked up the water and rotted the entire back wall of my walkout basement. I have to spend 1000's of dollars for repairs. Do not use this company!! I'll

I wish I had seen the advice of the other reviewers. Triad is horrible to deal with and the product they produce is sub par and totally unacceptable. 1) they placed the gutter drain pipe right where the fence was going on the plans. Fence posts punctured the line. 2) they poured a concrete pad for our shed and it is 5 inches out of square 3) they put such a large pitch in the pool deck that placement of a table and the grill is an issue. Things roll off of both. 4) they didnt follow the landscape plans for the walkway to driveway connection (rounded vs straight edge) and it was not noticed until the paving was being done and too late to fix. 5) two years later pebbles are popping up. I emailed the salesperson and go not response, so I called him and said he didnt get the message and to email again. After still not getting a response, I called the office and they said to email. I never got a call from Triad to discuss the issues. They are pathetic and I hope my review gets you to go else where, so you are not as disappointed as I am.

Where to start.... I was introduced to Triad while exploring pool contractors a year ago. While in my interview process the one consistent contractor that stood out was Triad. In my meeting and references with homeowners I was floored on how many people raved about Triad. Having worked with Gene at Triad I can now see why. Exceptionally punctual, 'they say what they will deliver', consultative, honest and willing are the many attributes that I feel strongly about working with them. I had a 1650 square foot aggregate cantilever deck, pool tile work and RiverRok work done at my home. The workers were exceptional and with Gene in control as the PM, I didn't feel any worries putting full trust in his ability to perform. He comes from the old school: under commit and over deliver mentality. I would strongly recommend discussing any hard scape, pool projects with Triad. There is a reason that they work with almost every pool company in New England. Would definitely recommend a Gene and Triad and would definitely work with them again, given the opportunity.

    20'x40' pool installation

I hired Triad via a recommendation from the pool installation company - Holmes Pools. I researched the company online and was somewhat skeptical. The installer assured me the Triad Project Leader - David Migliorini was reputable. We were installing a 20'x40' pool and Triad was laying ~2,000sqft of Techo-Bloc Blu 60 decking pavers and building an L-shaped retaining wall 65 linear feet with wall caps. They also noticed my neighbor behind me had a higher sloping grade (which saturated my lawn every time it rained) and devised a drainage solution to capture and reroute the water. From the start of the project, I know we made the correct choice. David sat with us to help us decide the layout of the wall, stone choices, coping, and colors/textures. He gave us a few layouts in the Fall and we were excited to get started. It was a lousy Spring w/ lots of rain but David stayed in close contact. He is an excellent communicator and gives it to you straight. Most of my frustrations w/ other projects stemmed from lack of response and poor communication. If the crew wasn't going to show up, David let us know and didn't leave us hanging. Now I've never had a project that has gone 100% as planned but the proof of quality and service is how the company you hired responds to problems. Of course, we had our share of minor issues. A large rock was excavated when the hole was dug for the pool. The pool contractor did not bury it deep enough next to the pool to lay the pavers. The first suggestion of using it as a decorative stone in the middle of the patio was not acceptable. Dave worked with his crew and in a few days had removed enough stone to properly lay the patio. The retaining wall patio end was poorly finished. It did not line up properly with the patio. Again, Dave was right on it to rectify the situation. After we opened the pool, we noticed smaller children were hitting there heads on the corner coping pavers at the stairs. Dave responded immediately and had the sharp stone corners rounded smooth. Finally, we had a few coping pavers with cracks the following season. He sent his crew the next Spring and replaced them all. We had a small accident and purple dye stained one of our pavers. When his crew was here they replaced it free of charge with an extra stone I had leftover. I'm guessing any of the negative reviews posted did not have Dave as the Project Manager. To me, he is Triad. The company is fortunate to have such a skilled individual who truly understands customer service. My wife and I are so pleased with, not only the final results - a beautiful serene backyard oasis but the process we went through to have it brought to life. Dave and his crew always kept us informed from a timing and schedule standpoint as well as a budget standpoint. I have recommended Triad to two other families in town but made sure they requested to work with Dave. Thank you.

Triad completed a pool renovation for a 40,000 gallon pool. Pebble , tile and coping. We decided to upgrade to the pebble finish "club cadet" and i am glad we did it came out beautiful. It is worth paying the extra $. Gene is very knowledgeable and he recommended that product the color is so rich and looks very high end. Scheduling was a but difficult due to rain and busy season but thats also because they are busy when they got to the job there was 12 men in my pool. Very impressed operation they know what they are doing.

-Updated- Within 24 hours of posting this I received a call…read morefrom owner. After some back and forth, clarity seems to exist and effort is being made with GreenSky-with no results promised and request for a week's time. The call is appreciated hopefully some results will follow. -End Update- I rarely leave reviews, but this experience has been unusually difficult and worth sharing. I am a homeowner and also work in contracting, so I understand how these projects should be handled. This situation is not typical. This project was financed through GreenSky with a 12-month promotional period. The vendor (HiTech) installed a window that was not code compliant. I discovered the issue through an open permit and notified both the vendor and lender. Despite this, the work was not brought into compliance quickly, replacement damaged , a tempered window. Due to repeated non-performance, I lost confidence in the vendor's ability to complete the work when they requested the sash id after they had stated a replacement was ordered but not yet broken. I am now working with another contractor to bring the project up to code. 16 months later-I got 6/7 windows to code and 7k in accrued/deferred interest for my troubles. In general. At the same time, the lender continues to apply deferred interest and has not provided any meaningful assistance despite the unresolved permit. This has resulted in additional cost and time to correct an issue that should have been resolved by the original contractor. In my experience, both workmanship and resolution support fell short of expectations. I would strongly recommend ensuring code compliance and clear accountability before proceeding with similar work with either. I will update this review if the situation is resolved or changes for the positive. A simple change for the vendor and lender would be for them to provide a copy of complete permit to lender. Or extend promotion a few months when exceptions like this happen. Or pay the interest when they are responsible. Or apologize.

HiTech Windows, once again, doesn't disappoint. From the sale and installation of our new front…read moredoor, the service was remarkable. Fast, Friendly, and Courteous, I believe there is no better company to work with for home renovations.
