We were very happy with the job LB SPecial Projects did rebuilding our deck, balcony, and 2 sets of steps. Initially, one of the main reasons we chose LB was communication. I never waited more than 24 hours for a response over email or text, and they had the quickest turn around for a bid (the bid was not the lowest, but in the ballpark of 2 others, and again, they were by far the best communicators). Lio and his crew were actually able to start a little before we were scheduled, which worked out great for us, and finished all the projects sooner than expected. We've worked with Lio and company for three projects now, including a pretty big project converting our attic into a pair of bedrooms. Lio's guys are experts - they kept finding mistakes from previous people we'd hired to do work. They also were really accommodating and resourceful when things went wrong. Lio and his team did an amazing job helping me with various projects to modernize the 1890 house that I purchased. It is not the easiest house to work on, given its eccentricities and things being very old, but Lio and team handled it amazingly. They did tiling, mounted a medicine cabinet and TV, constructed a wooden handrail for the stairs using a salvaged newell post that I provided to them, replacing the wrought iron handrail that was there. They also installed a wood door to my basement, rebuilt my screened-in porch, removing a piece of the foundation that was unnecessarily cutting into the porch area, and installed prefinished flooring. I really think there is hardly anything they can't do! Plus they do it all in a very courteous, timely, responsive and cost effective manner. Lio did an amazing job replacing our second floor deck and adding a set of stairs. It was rotting off of the house and had no direct access to our yard. Lio designed a new deck with stairs in a matter of a few days and handled all of the paperwork with the building department. While we were at it we also have Lio replace our front stairs to bring them to code and updated the design. His quote was very fairly priced. To be honest after seeing the final product; I think we got the best deal around. His work is impeccable!
