I was referred to Triangle Home Detailing by a friend a that had good things to say. Michael, the owner, contacted me via text and we chatted about what my need was. I was looking to have someone come to blow the roof and clean the gutters. in both person and via text, I was very explicit that about the gutters and that they have older guards on them and would need to be slid out to clean the gutters - so I was clear that the gutters needed to be cleaned. Micheal quoted me $120 for what I thought was a fair price for what I had asked for IN WRITING. The tech comes out to do the service and is here less than 20 minutes! I go half way up on a ladder and the tech did nothing but blow off my roof - no gutter cleaning at all. When I contacted Michael, he was slightly argumentative and then copped that "there had been a miscommunication". Just beware of what you ask for and what's actually done with this company. Fr the professionalism over the phone to making sure not to damage our flower beds with the sprayers. First class organization and very well priced. It's always difficult to figure out how to rate business that provide a great product, but deliver it poorly. Triangle Home Detailing is one of those sorts of businesses. The positive: The crews who have serviced my home were, on the whole, great - particularly Edwin, the chief two came both times. There were some issues with the roof not being completely cleared of debris or gutters not being cleared completely, but Edwin made sure everything was taken care of, and if there was an issue with spots or streaks on windows, ensured that it was corrected on a subsequent visit. The negative: The price is quite high compared to competitors. Part of that is accounted for by the quality of the cleaning, but for the price, you'd expect to receive more consideration. The sense that you get as a customer is that you are not valued - you are fungible, dispensable, disposable. Perhaps they just have that much business, that this is, in fact, the case. A case in point is a review below by Karla H, which my experience basically mirrors, and I think the problem stems from Michael, the owner. You'll note that he essentially doxxes her - reveals her full last name in his response - revealing a casual disrespect for her privacy. But this review isn't about other people's experience with them, but with my own. I had service scheduled for July 10, and received an email on July 8 that due to an illness among their crew members, we'd have to be pushed back to the 12th. Now, I had already taken a day off to be home to grant access to the cleaning crew, and this was late notice, so I couldn't opt to work. One personal day burned for no reason. Still, I understand that some things are outside your control. I inform work that I'll be working from home on the 12th (which is irregular - taking a day off, then working from home just afterwards). 11am on the 12th rolls around and no one has arrived. I email Michael, who spouts a cursory apology for failing to properly schedule the crew on the date that he himself had chosen. At this point I am incensed. I have now wasted two entire work days to be present for crews that didn't arrive. Michael suggests a day the following week, which requires me to be absent from work for yet a *third* day. I request a cancellation of my contract, which calls for two full home services within a 12 month period and a refund of the balance paid beyond half, and he states categorically that if such refund is offered, the first service will be charged at (an exorbitant) full price, reducing the refund by some 50%. I try to call him to understand what his thought process is, but he's unavailable as he's on family vacation. Ultimately I have no choice but to accept the second service, which only finished on August 21, six weeks after initially scheduled. The attitude that is communicated is simple - their time and effort is worth $x per hour. Your time and effort as a customer is worthless. If you choose to go with them, you'll have clean windows, but expect to be inconvenienced by them at their whim with no affordances or compensation. Their day's work will be paid for, no ifs ands or buts. As for yours when they decide to stand you up? That's your own problem. read more

Michael (owner) very responsive and did the job personally. He answered all my questions honestly and showed me what he was doing (as best as possible from 30 ft in the air). After fixing my overspill gutter it rained heavily about 3 hours later and voila! no more overspill! He also guarantees his work so should anything come loose/wear out prematurely I only need to call and he'll fix it no questions asked. Not the cheapest company but certainly one of the better ones i've dealt with. Note: I did not have my gutters cleaned or any other work done with this company so I can not vouch for those tasks, but if my job was an indicator then you're in good hands. read more

This is the second time I've used Triangle Home Detailing (originally Oak City Home Service) to "soft" pressure wash the exterior of our home and clean the windows. Both times the communication was prompt, the estimate was accurate, and the quality of work was very good. We called four companies to have our home pressure washed and gutters cleaned and we decided to go with Oak City Home Services. We were impressed right from the start! Excellent communication, reasonable prices, professional, and efficient. Our home looks amazing - our neighbors thought we had it painted! They even blew all the stupid pine needles off our roof! In the process, one of our outdoor outlets (which has a cover) zapped and stopped working. Michael, the owner, came out and replaced it with a brand new one - no charge! You should call them - they do a lot of home jobs that you don't want to do! read more

I would give no stars if I could. I scheduled window and gutter cleaning three weeks in advance. The day before the service the owner EMAILED me that he had another job he needed to finish and would have to reschedule. When I called him and pointed out that I was upset and felt penalized for poor planning on his part, he became very rude and gave me a tone of lame excuses. Apparently, No matter how bad the service, the customer is not supposed to push back. My opinion is that he got a job that was more expensive and decided to reschedule mine. If I had received at least a few days notice, it would have helped a little. The owner has an incredible sense of entitlement. I am a retired 64 year old single woman, who used to practice law. I would have starved to death if I had provided this type of discourteous service. You can find someone who will show up to clean your windows. Don't hire this company. read more

They were very prompt with all of their communications with me, showed up on schedule, and Edwin, who performed our gutter cleaning and gutter repair, did a great job.
