Then we dropped it off for maintenance and left it with them for as long as they needed it as we were away for a month. We left a list of things that needed some attention. One was the hot water heater- it only got Luke warm. When we returned after a month they hadn't done anything to it and the guy said they cycled it through twice and it worked. The note on the repair slip said we hadn't turned the switch on! We moved back into the unit and still couldn't get hot water. They came out to the RV site and still didn't fix it. We moved to the North Shore and TLC RV repair came over and replaced the temp cutoff switch and it works fine. Many other things also were not addressed and the comments on the repair slip were arrogant and condescending. Very disappointed in this organization. They lose the good people and the ones left don't seem to know what they are doing!

I hired Rob (over the phone) to replace the bearings in my recently purchased used boat trailer. I…read moreresearched him and saw that he was retired Military, so I thought he would be a man of his word. unfortunately, I was wrong. After 300 Kms and 1 time in and out of the water, the trailer started to make a loud growling sound anytime I was above 10km/h. As I live in Comox and Rob works out of Victoria (where I purchased the Boat) I took it to my local Boat service shop here in the valley to investigate the sound, so that I could advise Rob (who had just replaced all the bearings). I was advised by the service shop that the wrong wheel kit for the trailer spindle was used, and that the seals for the bearings were the wrong fit thus allowing salt water, grit and all forms of contamination into the bearings. As a result, all bearings needed replacement with proper sized seals etc. After notifying Rob of the problems, he continually blamed his supplier and the Boat service shop that I went to for the repairs, stating everything under the sun as an excuse but stopped short of taking any responsibility. When I asked for some financial reimbursement from what I had paid him in order to help cover the cost of the replacement/repair work, he stopped returning my texts and my phone calls. needless to say............potential customers beware!

Toms RV said there was a safety recall on the repairs and it would be coved on that recall except for for2-3 hrs of extra work. Seemed it would be ok, all the work would be covered by the recall. get a call and the trailer is finished, come and pick it up. The service manager hands me a bill for $1988.00. I can not print on here what I was thinking. Had to pay to get my trailer. they are the worst bunch of people I had to deal with ever, they make it sound all great and then stick it to you . So much for shopping local in your own community. It is businesses like this that do not belong in your community. I will never do business there again and would recommend to anyone to take your business elsewhere. I paid for an extended warranty and never had a chance to use it there. Even though he was thorough in his inspection, the source of the leak evaded him on that initial service call. He was totally perplexed and unsatisfied not to have found the leak. We were advised not to use the propane in the trailer until the issue was resolved. Undeterred, Ian was adamant that he was going to find the source of the leak, so he returned twice more, concerned for our safety, wanting to uphold his reputation, and save us a costly visit to the dealership. We were happy and relieved when the problem was finally identified and repaired - I don't think any other service person could have had better success at finding it sooner. Ian was very fair with what he charged us. He's personable and sincere. We will use his services again if need be.

Slowest service I have ever witnessed. I received a poor product for a high price. They met none of there estimates. I was shocked at the labour costs, and even furthermore when I watched the lack of speed, and professionalism the tech displayed in his appearance and work. When I had to return to get the work tested it became an opportunity for them to bill me again. I stressed twice at the service counter, if they were going to bill me not to spend more than 1 hr. Upon returning they'd billed for 1.5 hours. I just don't understand how such a simple request could be ignored. It is just not worth it, to over charge your customers. This was an opportunity to make right for the first lousy job i had done. Bad business.
