I got a banana and kiwi mix which I found had very fresh tastes, a creamy consistency and a nutritious drink that kept me full pleasantly for a good 2-3 hours. Lucky 9 has only been open since last year but has already gotten a steady stream of customers for the lunch hour break. They include videos above the work area which show how each type of drink is prepared and their list of extras to include is quite lengthy (and mouth watering). We did an online order pickup that was ready super fast- they had so many fun seasonal drink options it was difficult to choose just one. I ended up trying a blueberry marshmallow frappe, which sounds like it'd be overly sweet and it was sweet but a good amount. It was so refreshing in that Florida summer heat. They must have changed the recipe for their matcha because it looks, tastes & even feels wildly different than it did before, and I always order the same thing. I spend over $10 (with tip) for a single tea and just want it to be a good product. This time it was not. I usually ask for extra matcha so its extra strong and can last me through the day, but this time I didnt ask for extra. I drank about 1/5th of it and the amount of phlegm my mouth produced was absolutely disgusting (fake sugar in the recipe now??? Thats typically what causes that. Gross. Stick to real sugar or dont sweeten it at all)... The matcha did not taste good and gave me extreme jitters from only drinking literally a fifth of it when I usually dont feel the energy from it until I'm almost halfway through the latte, and I've never gotten jitters from Kahwa matcha before. Are you adding alternative energy products to it now too? (off-setting lower quality matcha?) That's insane if so and incredibly rude. People want clean products, not more junk like the fast-food chains. The whole reason I've been choosing Kahwa over cheaper options for YEARS.
